Great! Nelson is very good at his craft. He goes the extra mile for his customers to make sure we are happy. I am happy with his work and will be hiring him for siding work as well in the near future.

In 2006 we remodeled our home, without replacing our roof. It was not a good experience by any means. So when we decided last year to get a new roof my wife and I were determined that we would do our due diligence to ensure our searching would lead us to a reliable construction team. We searched local FB pages and websites for several months. Several companies we contacted did not even show up to provide a quote! When we found Matrix Construction, and Nelson Pena, we were immediately pleased with his knowledge and eagerness to take on our project. The pandemic and some other unavoidable situations caused delays until this past April 2021. Nelson and his team were hard-working, knowledgeable, and prompt. Even when a change in the design (we decided to get a ridge vent), caused several weeks delay due to back orders, Nelson stayed in contact with us during the delay, and let us know as soon as he had the product to restart. During the work Nelson found a number of spots where wood had rotted and needed to be replaced. Several spots were from the 2006 remodel, showing that the work done then by another company was subpar. We are thrilled with the finished product, as well as the final bill. We have gotten many compliments from friends and family. We heartedly recommend Nelson, and Matric Construction.

Nelson, the owner, takes great pride in his work. I hired Matrix Construction to reinstall our roof (1100sf home) after we noticed significant water damage resulting from some rain storms. He performed exceptionally well, truly exceeded any expectations I had, and the work was pristine. I am a licensed professional civil engineer and a Project Manager for a Heavy Civil Contractor so I have a lot of experience working in construction - Nelson is someone who I completely trust to do the job properly, and for a fair price. During the construction of the roof replacement, he even came to my house at midnight during a severe rain/wind event after I texted him in a panic thinking our home was going to flood - he secured all of the tarps on the roof and prevented significant damage. He even offered to repair any water damage that may have resulted from this storm even though he did not do anything wrong. It's hard to find contractors like Nelson, and Matrix Construction is the best value for your roofing needs.
