Very satisfied with the quality of workmanship and service.  Victor H. and his crew came to do a copper repipe of the bathroom areas and also replaced the badly-corroded shower drains.  In addition, they installed a much-needed water shut-off valve.  The communication was excellent throughout and they went the extra mile to make sure all my questions were answered and that everything at the end turned out great.  Highly recommend Victor H and the team!

Eddie was very helpful.  He was able to diagnose the issue and find a challenging-to-locate part, which saved a mountain of time, mess, and labor cost.  They were very clean, very courteous, and on time.  It was clear to me that Eddie was an experienced plumber.  Note: I told the company ahead of time that this was a more major/complex issue as we were able to determine some of the issue prior to calling, so they sent out Eddie along with a more junior associate whom he was training.  At the culmination of the repair, Eddie showed me the part that failed and determined the root cause as to why it failed.  As soon as he explained it, I knew he was absolutely correct in his diagnosis.  I was extremely pleased with the work performed.  I have no hesitation recommending Mattucci Plumbing. <br />

Laundry room drain backed up.   Based on a recommendation in the Beach Reporter, I called Mattucci Plumbing.  The phone was answered immediately and a technician was at my house within about 20 minutes.    He cleared the line, tested that the washing machine would no longer back up, then decided to run a longer line than the 30 feet he had originally run.   He tested twice more to make sure everything was clear. <br /> Technician was polite and made sure the area was clean before he left. <br />

<p>I've used Mattucci several times. They stand out for professionalism and quality. They actually return calls promptly. Show up when they say the will. And do excellent, thoughtful work. One story illustrates their professionalism. Several years ago, we had them install copper pipes throughout our home. Shortly after the installation, we noticed that it took a long time for the hot water to reach our upstairs bathroom. After living with it for a couple of years, we called Mattucci and explained the issue. The owner came out and personally fixed the problem. No charge. Now THAT's service. Currently, we are working with Victor, who is an excellent plumber and manages projects very professionally. We have 100% confidence in his work.</p> <br />

It was about $3,000.00 less than every other person who's on Angie's List. They were very competitive for what they did. They were very straightforward. They basically came out and they assessed the situation, they told me exactly what they were gonna do, they told me what price it was and they were very courteous and professional and prompt. They were expedient. They did exactly what they said they were gonna do. They were very cost-effective, prompt and very professional. I would grade them A on all points, A on their cost, A on their promptness and their courteousness and their ability to get it done and to follow through what they said they were going to do. He won't come up for the small job.

The Mattucci plumber came on time and was very patient when explaining the cause of the problem to us. He also outlined the various short term and longer term options. We decided to try snaking the washing machine drain. He did so and solved the problem. We have not had any blockage for several months now. The plumber was polite, professional and thorough. I would definitely use Mattucci again. <br />

I went out to run errands on Friday morning, when I returned on Friday afternoon I discovered a water leak inside a kitchen base cabinet adjacent to the sink. The leak was hidden behind the wall. I called several highly rated plumbers from Angie's List, but I usually got an answering machine or answering service. One plumber did answer, but told me that it would be Saturday before he could respond. Finally I was able to reach Mattucci Plumbing. They answered right away and told me that someone could respond that afternoon. The technician was right on time (within an hour of my phone call). He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He worked steadily and rapidly to find the problem and repair the leak. The cost for the service was slightly more (within 20%) of what was estimated. I was very satisifed with the response, the work and the price. <br />

Inspected sewer line, but also answered my many questions after the purchase of a new home. I've worked with this company before and will continue to in the future. Always professional and very helpful.

very punctual. reliable and fair

I have used them four times this year and they're really good, the plumbing part of it is good. I can get an appointment within a couple of days and they're always on time. If they don't have the parts they go down to one of the local hardware stores and don't charge me their time for it. They explained what they're going to do and gave me a price before they do it usually on the phone. I really like the guy Victor who do the service for me and he gave good advice. He does good work and he's clean. They cleaned up after themselves they lay a rug down and they vacuum up after themselves. Every time I think about plumbing that's who I call first. Even if they are more worth than the other company it's well worth the extra expense because I know if he leaves everything works fine, I never had to callback ti complain.

Mattucci Plumbing gave me a 15 minute heads ups call that Ken and his assistant were on their way. They arrived, took care of my kitchen faucet replacement (price above is just the faucet replacement) and a couple of other jobs. They were friendly and professional, and they cleaned up after themselves. Everything looks great and works wonderfully. I will use Mattucci Plumbing again. <br />

Everyone at Mattucci was professional, on time and responsive. I mainly worked with Mike on the phone, and with Ricc at the house. Unfortunately, the leak in my tankless was an issue revisited several times and finally resolved May 28 when Noritz helped them solve this particular problem with a specific valve. I have to say, though it was a head scratcher for them, they stayed with it until they figured out the problem, and were responsive every time I had to call them to tell them it was still leaking. I don't know if another company would have tried as hard as they did to get it right. I will use them again, and highly recommend them. They are professional, responsive and great to work with. We have a Bosch tankless water heater. It started getting A3 errors. Angie''s List did not have any reviews in the Torrance Area so I used Yelp and they had 17 reviews with 4.5 out of 5 stars. Went to their website requested they call next day and explained the issue. I was at work so they called my wife the next morning showed up when they said they would and found and fixed the problem. 125.00 for the visit not too outrageous and he did fix the unit. He knew the unit very well my wife said and had apparently looked up the issue before he arrived at our house as he went right to it and fixed it in less than 45 minutes. Very nice guy very professional. It says Ricc on his bill <br />

The sump pump in the driveway wouldn't stop running. The tech rep cleared it a bit, turned it off, filled with water, turned it back on. <br /> Ran perfectly and stopped when fully drained, as it is supposed to do. He didn't charge me, because he said there was nothing for him to do. But, he spoke about the details of the system and what could go wrong and what to look for in such a comprehensive and pleasantly <br /> conversational way, that, much as I don't want my plumbing to break, I look forward to a future visit from him or an associate. <br /> Seems like a good quality, family-run business - just the kind we want to support. : ) <br />

I have used Mattucci Plumbing in the past for several small plumbing jobs and was very satisfied with their work. In this instance I called them to resolve a problem I had with a slow running shower drain. Their plumber appeared on time for our appointment and proceeded to tell me that he would remove the hair from our shower drain 95 dollars so I told him to proceed. He started to clean the line starting at the shower but soon said he had just plugged the line and now it was totally plugged including the line from the toilet .He then said he would advise that we dig down to the sewer line and add a two way clean out which would allow him to clean the sewer line back towards my house and towards the street. This raised the cost of the job to $995. I again agreed and he proceeded with the job.When he got the line exposed he broke the line so he could insert his camera. Once he had the camera in the line he said the line was broken in two places and that it was plugged by tree roots next to the house and by more roots from another tree next to the sidewalk. He said the plugging was so severe at the sidewalk that he couldn't even get his camera line through it. This seemed suspicious in that the main line from the house which went through the supposedly totally plugged portion still had no back-up when we used our drains. He then said what we needed to do was pull a new sewer line in which would go through the two plugged areas and through the broken sections. <br /> For this work the cost was then re-estimated to be $7400. He wanted me approve the work right away as he said he could get the equipment scheduled the next day. I told him I wanted to get another estimate first so he asked that I call him on his cell phone as soon as possible. Shortly thereafter he called back and said he had some good news - - he had been told their machinery could pull the new sewer line around a corner which would eliminate some of the excavation work and thereby reduce the cost to $5800. <br /> I then contacted another plumber who came out and surveyed our sewer line with his camera using the same entry hole in the sewer line that Mattucci had used. His review showed only some slight blockage by tree roots next to our houser, NO breaks in the sewer line, and no blockage by tree roots next to the sidewalk. His suggestion was that he replace the sewer line where it ran by the tree nex to the house and that he add two cleanouts in the line - - one two way and one one way. All of this would be done for $2000. <br /> I had this new plumber do the work per his estimate and our line has flowed without any problem since. <br /> The final note with Mattucci was paying them for their work. After I did not schedule the line replacement with Mattucci I called their office and asked for the charges for the partial line excavation and camera inspection they had done. The office person said they would have the plumber who did the work call me. He did a day later only to tell me he was busy but would stop by later in the day. Itold him that wasn't necessary - - just tell me what the bill was and I would send them a check. He said he didn't know but would stop by the next day. The next day he did come by and I asked him what the charges were again. He said he had purchased material for the job but when I reminded him that he had used no material on our job he said we wouldn't be charged for it. He still said he didn't know what the charges were so I asked him what his shop-rate was and I would just pay him based on the two hours he had worked excavating and inspecting. He said he didn't know the shop-rate so I just said " Why don't I just give you a check for $400 which he then said would be fine. I gave him the check and that is the last I have heard from Mattucci. <br />
