Cheryl did a wonderful job cleaning and when I mentioned I needed some painting and other odd jobs done she said they also offer painting and handyman services as well .. so I booked for 2 rooms to be painted , closets and doors included and 2 ceiling fans to be assembled and installed and I could not be happier with the work , Lou and his partner did amazing work and I will definitely be using the cleaning services as well as the handyman services from Maws again !!

I’m one of those people who likes to do everything on their own. But as age has been creeping in that’s become way more difficult. So, I hired this company for a deep clean. These women were great! I’m super pleased and my house is just incredibly clean. Hannah and Cheryl are good at what they do and they care about doing a good job. I’m signing up as a regular client. You should think about doing the same!

My experience with this company was a bit all over the place; ultimately, I won’t be scheduling with them again. I don’t typically prefer to leave negative reviews, but as my concerns went unaddressed, I’m just going to lay out the facts of my experience so that potential clients know what I would have done differently. A point worth mentioning prior is that I always let the staff in, show them how to lock up, and then leave with my dogs during the cleaning process as one of my dogs panics at the sound of the vacuum. My first appointment was a deep clean. It went ok. It wasn’t as thorough of a job as I would’ve hoped (for example, the living room fan was not dusted), but it was acceptable. One of my figurines was broken in the process, and the company promptly communicated with me about this, apologized, and took some money off my bill; I thought this was handled well. The second was my first scheduled bi-weekly clean. It went well. No complaints. The third was my second bi-weekly clean. As per usual, I showed the team how to lock up and left with my dogs. When I received a payment request over venmo, I knew the cleaning was complete and headed home. When I was near my house, I noticed the door had been left ajar, but the team’s car was no longer outside my house. I thought this was perhaps a mistake and they were still inside, but they were not, they had left my door ajar upon departure. So not only was my door left unlocked, but was left open on a 90 degree day, AC running, during which time some packages were delivered, meaning the delivery person could have easily accessed my empty home. I reached out to the company about this, explaining in just as calm of a manner as I now am, hoping to discuss the issue as this, to me, is a very big deal, and ought to be at the very least acknowledged and apologized for. I did not immediately pay the venmo request as I felt I was entitled to a conversation prior to payment. However, I was then sent a “payment reminder,” which, to me, communicated that my concern was not going to be addressed. I paid. But decided I will not be scheduling with them again. And my advice is that if you do book with them, probably remain at your house with them while you clean.

Our initial housecleaning person was wonderful and she moved on. I had issues with her replacement and contacted Hannah the owner and all was cleared up immediately. I appreciate her and her service and would recommend without reservation.

MAW cleaning was terrible. They were late to arrive on the initial schedule cleaning time, and after arriving they immediately sent me a request for more money to deep clean the apartment. I had openly advised the MAW manger Hannah prior that due to a prior bad tenant I was completing a pest control services and just needed to bring the unit to a base level of cleanliness as already in plans to remove pet impacted carpet and repaint. The cleaning crew was here for just 2 hours, and used my own set aside cleaning supplies though advised they would utilize their own. Knowing how dirty the apt was I agreed to meet them 1/2 way for what they asked me to pay more. The manger Hannah sent me a new contract for the new agreed amount and new date, and then literally said “ Bless your heart!”. I think we all know what that means in the South. Needless to say, 3 days before the were scheduled to complete the rest of the unit they cancelled. In summary, don’t expect much from MAW, and find yourself a better cleaning service.

The client failed to express that the property was occupied by an abundance of pests and in [Member Information Removed] condition that was outside the scope of practice for MAW cleaning service. The client was made aware of the issues on the property but wanted the company to make it look good when it needed much more extensive work. MAW cleaning gave the client many recommendations ranging from professional pest control and [Member Information Removed] cleaning service that could better serve their needs. As [Member Information Removed] result of entering this property equipment was damaged and materials had to be thrown away because of the pest issue in the property. As [Member Information Removed] business owner I have the ability to refuse jobs that do not align with the quality of work we do. The owner was unwilling to do the job the right way and ethically MAW cleaning service could not take part in this. I hope this client does the right thing and handles the pest issue correctly and not move anyone in that property that is not in [Member Information Removed] living condition."
