Mike was very prompt and professional in coming out right away to give me a quote on my tuckpointing for my house, including my chimney. He also offered to remove the old antenna from on top of the house. His crew was very professional as well. We had water coming in through the brick and needed extensive work to fix the side of the house. He gave us a quote for roofing fixes as well so I would consider hiring him again. Mike is very responsive to text messages and calls, so if you get him to do work for you he will be sure to keep you updated throughout. I really appreciated that since I can't answer calls at work, but can text.

Mike and his crew did a superb job. Mike responded to my request for quote within an hour. The job was very small but his price was fair so I hired him. He communicated very well. Mike's crew replace three bricks in the outside wall of our 80+ year old Chicago bungalow to close up the hole left by a dryer vent we removed. We would highly recommend M. Brown for brick and stone work! We had some tuckpointing work done on our home - a traditional Chicago graystone. Mike was a good communicator, professional, and fairly priced. He did a couple walk throughs to make sure we were all on the same page about the project and what needed to be done. His estimate was detailed and he even went above and beyond by completing some extra work for us at no cost. Great crew, worked quickly, and they cleaned up well. Would definitely hire them again.

Mike and his team were excellent to deal with on all fronts. Mike explained the work needed very well. The team worked very efficiently. The finished product looks great, and they were also very reasonable and honest about their pricing which is not always easy to come by.

Our condo association needed emergency tuck pointing repairs. Mike was immediately available to look at the problem and promptly submitted a well written, detailed bid. Mike took time to analyze the problem and determined that cracked roof tiles were contributing to the leakage. Mike added that work to the project and was able to schedule repairs without delay. Mike was on site to consistently supervise his crew, all of whom were very professional, courteous and capable. The work was completed as scheduled and at the end of the project the crew cleaned up and power washed the project area. They also removed accumulated debris from a section of our gutters without added charge. M. Brown Construction did a great job for us, and we highly recommend this company.
