Bob McAndrews of RCM Construction is not only a great plumber, but also offers reasonable pricing and works tirelessly. His demeanor is pleasant, and he is extremely polite and respectful. We are already working on some major projects for him to complete in the near future.

This was an abomination. I asked for three trees and one bush to be removed. They came and removed bush, did trimming. The following week he returned and cut down the trees he trimmed the week before! Needless to say, I hired someone else to finish the job.

I hot a call first thing in the morning (very good thing!) I was asked if he could come over and give me an estmate. I told him yes as soon as he could because I had no water because of the leak. He told me he could be right over and he was! Him and his helper were both very polite! I showed him the work I needed done and I asked for his price and We agreed on a price and the work was completed and I was very pleased with the work! I was offered options so that I could save money but I did need the work done and he was reasonable. I will call him again for another project I have in mind! Thank You!

RCM came to reconstruct our draining system, as well as remove an oil tank from our front lawn. The draining system along side of our home was done very efficiently and so far has been operating beautifully. The oil tank in our front lawn was a lot more work than anticipated. To our surprise, the tank was larger than expected but Bob and his team adapted to the situation and took care of what needed to be done. Overall, Bob is very skilled in his line of work, and he and his team have done a great job with all of the work they’ve done for us. Would hire again!

How did it go? Well, we hired RCM for another major job. The job was completed quickly and with no surprises. He even took the time to correct a related problem at no extra cost. We hired RCM again and will consider for future jobs around the house.

I don't understand the negative reviews. He delivered all promised work within time and budget constraints that we discussed up front. He and his team did an excellent job with my construction, plumbing, electric, and even did the tiling, as well as material pick-ups and deliveries. RCM is primarily one guy that can basically do it all. His assistants are professional and respectful but Bob is the core. I plan to use RCM again because I am very pleased with my finished new kitchen and bathroom. I highly recommend RCM.

Earlier in the year Bob did some plumbing work for me and did a great job, so I got an estimate for him to do a kitchen remodel. His price for the labor was in line with other estimates. (I bought the cabinets, countertop, etc. separately.). So I hired him to do the work which turned out was a big mistake. Though this review is a bit long, I encourage you to read it because this situation could happen to you. He told me the remodel would take a week.He notified me that he was injured and in the hospital, so the start of the project would be delayed by several weeks, which was fine by me. When he started the project he sent me an email that said I would have a functioning kitchen in 3 days. In reality, it took a month to have a functioning kitchen and here we are in week 8 and the kitchen is still not done. Bob sent an email that he would finish the kitchen on August 10th. For the past three weeks, he’s worked at most 8 hours total, constantly cancelling or simply not showing up when he promised to be here, day after day. If he gave an excuse, it was related to his injury, but somehow he was able to take other jobs, go on vacation, etc, I was very fair with payment, All of the other times I had jobs done I made a down payment and paid the rest at completion. I gave Bob a down payment and then he wanted payment after the cabinets were installed,. I was trying to be nice because he had lost work when he was injured. In hindsight, I should not have paid because that’s when he started canceling because he had 80 percent of his money. I also paid for unexpected things such as crown molding, electrical boxes, etc. Two weeks ago he came for a couple of hours, but did not finish. He said he would be back the next day but needed payment in full. I said no because he wasn’t done, but he was very upset and said he wouldn’t leave my house until he was paid. I should never have paid, but I felt threatened. Since then he has not been back. He has not shown the thee different afternoons he promised to be here to finish. Since he hasn’t shown 90 percent of the times promised over the past two months (which I have documented through texts and emails}, I insisted that he finish the job any morning this week. I think I have been more than patient. I watched weeks go by without work being done. He called me nasty, told me I needed help, and blocked me on his phone. All because I wanted my kitchen finished after 2 months?? He complained that he was losing money on the remodel. I’m not sure how because he indicated he would be here for a week, and hasn’t put in a weeks worth of work. He’s worked a few days at the beginning and a couple of hours here and there since then. There have been a couple of weeks where he didn’t work here at all. Also, he’s the one that set the price. I’m guessing since he had most of the money within the first few days, it was more lucrative for him to work on other jobs other than mine. I’ve never written a bad review for work done on my home, but I feel I have no choice. Buyer beware. I now must pay someone else to finish a job he started, including fixing a hole in the dining room wall Bob created when remodeling the kitchen. I’m sure Bob will try to refute this review, which he did with another failed review with similar characteristics of being paid, but not showing up, etc. but it’s hard to refute when I have documented proof,. This includes dozens of texts and emails of him cancelling or me asking why he never showed, commitments to finish on certain dates which didn’t happen, e-mails that he was working at other jobs, etc. Thank you.

"Sue, If you felt so threatened, why would you not call the police? Why would you not take 15 steps to your next door neighbors house......who is a horsham township police officer and ask for help? You are a liar, and a horrible person. Horrible. There is a reason you are alone.........and my ‘injury’ was: Cracked femur Torn MCL Grade two year of the ACL Torn ligaments Permanent nerve damage Dislocated knee cap And you are welcome for giving you an amazing kitchen, for 1/2 the price you should have paid."

Emergency repair, RCM came out after hours to do the job. Great work, cleaned up the mess caused by the leak and helped me move other items out of harm’s way. I plan to use them for an upcoming job in my kitchen.

Not good. Totally under equipped. Not able to do job. Approximately $3500 worth of damage. Demanded $600. Refused to pay and then caused additional damage. Totally unprofessional. (Broken door, cut fence post, damaged roof, damaged landscape sidewalk, broken wall pavers, and Debris dumped on front lawn. Nightmare weekend.

The experience I had with RCM Construction was exceptional. Bob called to follow up on my request for a quote, showed up when he said he would, evaluated the issue, provided a quote as well as his availability. Something about Bob's demeanor when he first showed up made me reluctant to solicit any other quotes for the job. He did a phenomenal job in getting the tree down, removed and my yard all cleaned up. I will be using RCM Contracting in the near future for other projects on my list. They're fast, honest, reliable, knowledgeable, competent and professional, and that's all I was really looking for.

Bob did a total hack job on the basement door leaving many holes and gaps. Tried to get the guy to come and fix it for 4 months over more than a dozen occasions. I got excuse after excuse as to why he wouldn't show up for work that was already paid for. He never showed up to reconstruct the basement door he did a hack job on. He is a dishonest person and contractor. He randomly mentioned to my mother that he was sober upon first meeting. Why would he randomly say this? Anyway my mother set up appointment after appointment to come fix the door he screwed up. The numerous times he was expected to come fix his shotty work, he never showed up or called. My mother then tried texting him the night before the days he was supposed to come fix the door. He then always had an excuse as to why he couldn't come. Eventually he started ignoring her texts and calls altogether. If you are a naive single woman I wouldn't trust this man. He took full advantage of my mother knowing how naive she is regarding contractors. I called him tonight after months of her trying to get him to do the job she paid him for. I called him out on his ******** and he started freaking out and acting tough on the phone. Then the coward texted me and my mother in a group chat saying he is calling the cops because I threatened him, which never happened. It's hilarious how this **** *** tries to play the victim when he scammed an old woman out of her money. Had I known she was going to get this work done I would've intervened a long time ago. He was supposed to construct a weather tight basement door, not a slanted door with holes and gaps.He was also supposed to paint the door. Which he refuses to do. This guy has no business doing any kind of construction. He should be an apprentice working under a skilled foreman of a company at the very most. My mother also was going to have this guy install 4 new windows. We had masters home solutions come in and do it instead. I showed the contractors what this Bob Mcandrews character calls a basement door, and they couldn't believe what a horrendous job he did. Thankfully I intervened before this guy did a hack job on her windows and took her money too. This job was paid for and not signed off or inspected by my mother. He knew he did a horrendous job, as he later admitted in documented text messages, saying that he needs to reconstruct the door altogether.

"This job was paid for and signed off after inspection by customer. This person 4months later harassed me and leaves death threats. I work very hard and my craftsmen ship (pictures on site) and A reviews speak for themselves."

It went great! Bob was able to fix the problem, as well as diagnose other plumbing things in the bathroom that needed to be repaired, and got those done perfectly! Also was able to remove and replace the sheet rock that was damaged from the leaking. Great work, and would bring back for anything else we’d need done!
