Took time but they got it done.

Cesar and crew arrived on time and ready to work. Offloaded and stacked our mulch bags where we asked them to, then applied the mulch to our desired areas and depth with great care for our existing plantings. Cleanup was great and work performed to our satisfaction.

The contractor has been responsive, the work quality has been excellent. We still have 9 months remaining, so we are excited about planting in the spring.

We purchased the Angie's List special and needed additional mulch to finish the yard. The company was flexible and accommodating. They had plenty of mulch and was able to finish the entire project with one visit.

The quality of the work was great, but the customer service was awful. I had several issues just getting them to show up to do the work once I purchased a deal on here. At one point they told me my check wouldn't clear their bank (when it had cleared mine), and that they couldn't complete the work until that was resolved. Eventually things were sorted out and the work was completed, but it took 6 weeks for a 400 sq. foot patio.

Looks great. Difficult job on the hollies but did good using my ladders. My bags as indicated but did not haul away bags. Not a biggie. Would use them again. Three men for 2.5 hours. One guy not as fast as the other two but I am satisfied.

They were very good. They did a very excellent job and were very professional and they were good. We would use them again. I think it took them like 7 hours.

The deal was purchased on March 30, 2017 and got scheduled for April 17th. It rained that day and after contacting MCD, they rescheduled for 5/5 (It was obvious, we were put at the end of the queue). On 5/5, it also rained. After contacting MCD I did not hear back. I called, and did not receive a return call. Additional emails went unanswered. As of 6/17/17 (2.5 months after purchase), the work has not been performed and MCD has not returned any messages.

The work has never been done. At the end of April I still had not been contacted to confirm a delivery date. I sent an email to the user I'd provided in the purchase receipt and was contacted by a company representative. By this time my original proposed dates were no longer open, so I requested the work be done anytime the first week of June. The rep said he would have to call me back, but never did. On Monday, 12 June, I called the contact number for the company, explained the situation, and requested they set a date to provide the service. I was told it was their day off and they would call me back on Tuesday. As of close of business Wednesday, 14 June, I still had not heard from them and sent an email requesting a full refund.

After the date finally got resolved, it went well.

No one showed on the first two dates I was told they would. It looks like decent mulch and they did a good job spreading when they did come.

great fine job at a fantastic price

Bought a "big deal" on April 1 2017 for $195.00 for 3 cubic feet of mulch to be delivered and spread. They did not contact me like other companies after I bought the big deal. In fact I did not hear from them for a few weeks. This company does not have good communication. They finally left a phone message (that was hard to understand) and said they would be out May 5th. It rained May 5th and they did not contact me afterwards to reschedule. About a week later I called and left a phone message asking when they would be out and they never responded. I messaged them a few days later on Angie's list and they did not respond. They never got back to me. I contacted Angies list May 18th or so and explained the problem . Buyer beware there is a 30 day refund guarantee policy, however Angie's list did refund my money.

The work was done well and the yard looks good. The crew was careful with the plants and did not damage them when they put down the mulch. The price was reasonable for the work done. We have multiple flower beds and trees and they spread mulch on all of it including on a few hillside plants. It was a little hard to schedule the work, probably because it was spring and lots of people hired them in response to the reasonably priced deal they offered.

We were extremely pleased with the work! The crew cleaned up the yard and the mulched areas looked beautiful.

I have mixed feelings about the company - they did do the work but they put the mulch right against the house and that is not good for avoiding termites. we had to push the mulch back away from the foundation after the workers left. I do not think they speak English very well.

It took a long time to get them to come out. There was also a language barrier, but they did what was promised.

Everything went well. The crew did exactly as requested as soon as I identified where to spread the mulch. Language was a challenge and has been mentioned in other reviews, so I made sure everything was in writing via text messages. This probably is not a problem for Spanish speakers. Complex tasks could be a challenge if you do not speak Spanish. Overall I was very happy with the deal.
