Sean did an excellent job on two project we used him for the first project was an extensive landscape and irrigation and retaining wall moving sod and resodding another area did irrigation and planting along two large sections of our backyard fence. The next project was also involved with irrigation to a new area of our front yard and planting of grasses and shrubs, moving existing plants to other areas. Sean is easy to work with listens to what you want provides his input as to what would work best. Great work reasonable pricing Will continue to contract with Sean for all other projects we have in the future

The 1st phase is completed with tree and shrub removal plus the horizontal fence is installed to perfection. I can not praise Sean McMahon enough. He took our ideas and built upon them and always checked with us during installation to see if it was to our satisfaction. In fact his crew made an error and he was very fair with us resulting in a nicer looking fence. His crew is polite and hard working. Second phase will start when weather cooperates on running sprinkler system to front, a little grass with xeriscape plus certain shade of rock, mulch, evergreen, shrubs and flowers for front yard. This is not an easy concept to undertake and Sean is very much up for the challenge.

A disaster. I would NEVER EVER use this company again. I had a dead tree to remove, and mentioned this before they started, indicating it was on on our original plan, and I would be happy to hire a tree removal person to remove it, but they wanted to do it. In the process they damaged another of our trees, and did not even clean up the damaged limbs. They quoted to plant a specific kind of pine, but had not planned and were not able to find one. They found a nice spruce that would work, but failed to provide adequate irrigation and the 6 footer is now dead. They failed to provide adequate irrigation to several other plants, some have been saved, some not. They also have damaged the existing drip lines and now water is pooling in some areas. The rock the provided as requested is not the same we had and has changed the color profile of the rock rivers. One of the tasks was to remove a bed of day lilies and iris. They just pulled out the green leaves, and as these are all bulbs, they all grew back. The one pyrocanthus that was over 20 years old and beautiful that I told them not to remove, they cut off at the base. I did call and speak to the proprietor who indicated he would come by the following week. He did not and they are not answering my calls. This was over a $10k job and I am extremely disappointed.

The work done was great, the customer service was AWFUL. Sean assured us if any trees died he would replace them per the warranty. He did replace one but when the other two died and we asked him to replace he was rude and hung the phone up on my husband! He is unresponsive to calls and emails, I would not recommend.

Awesome! Sean is extremely professional and has vast experience. He listened to my questions and ideas and made really helpful suggestions. From the first meeting until the last day, he always arrived on time as did his crew, who worked like beavers! Professional workmanship and great work ethic. His pricing seems very fair, especially once you see the quality of the finished product. In addition, Sean is just delightful. I will absolutely use him again. Absolutely!

Sean McMahon verbally abused me for asking him to fix a job he and his team "completed" in my backyard, or to partially-refund me. Sean said that he was tired of my "passive aggressive ********" (he gets enough of that from his family), I'm "******* lying" to him about the issues I'm having, my complaints are "********", I need to buy the materials needed to fix the work his team did and "shove it". Sean says that I have "threatened the wrong person". To be clear, I have never threatened him, nor have I been unreasonable about my requests. He used to be a pleasant person to work with. Sean and his team did an amazing job in our front yard last year, so we hired him to do work in our backyard this spring, which was flagstone steps, and a flagstone patio. It looked great, but with time the flagstone did not set in many places, and kept coming loose. The sand filler they used on the patio never hardened properly and is crumbling away from the stones, and leaving holes from our patio chairs. Sean said that I needed to stop wetting the sand, remove the patio furniture, and he would have his team come back to fix what they could. After a week of no communication I reached out again to ask for resolution or partial refund. I have needed to reach out to Sean every week since April 8th, and simply wanted to finally be done with the project. To which he flew off the handle. I've never been passive in expressing my needs, or concerns. This is someone who we have paid thousands of dollars. Sean and his company did our front yard and our back yard. He lent us tools, helped me map out future plants, and I recommended him to anyone who needed a landscaper. I never did anything to constitute being verbally abused by a "professional" for wanting my project to be fixed. It's been over a month since his team "completed" our backyard. What benefit would I have in lying to him about keeping the patio dry? How does that help me? I'm still shaking from his tangent. His temper is frightening, and I want to make others aware of his outburst before they invite him into their home, or near their family. I doubt Sean would have spoken to a man the way he felt comfortable speaking to me.

"I am beyond disappointed at the outright lying and complete lack of personal responsibility displayed by Mrs. [Member Name Removed]. She has a hillside above where the patio in question sits. She told me when we were working on her front yard last year that she waters the hillside daily, even though it is almost entirely xeric plants. I suggested she cut back to once a week, but do not believe that my advice was heeded. When we installed the patio this spring I again advised to not water the hillside for at least a week after we finished (to allow the polymeric sand time to harden). She had me come back twice to refill the sand, which I happily did. I asked both times that she allow the sand to sit for a week before watering the hillside. When she asked me over a third time on May 14 with the same problem, I commented on how lush her hillside looked, pointed out the wet patio and sand, and was told by her that she was not watering the hill. Since there had not been any rain for several days, I knew this statement to be false, but did not call her on it. I told her that I would send the crew over as soon as I could, but that it could be a week or more. On Tuesday May 19th I received the following email. Hi Sean, I feel like I have been patient in waiting for José to come and fix our patio, and in that time more cracking, crumbling, sinking and loosening of flagstones has occurred. I would like these issues fixed and finalized so that I am not spending every other week trying to get a hold of you, or I’d like $1000 back so I can find someone else to help us. [Member Name Removed] Sent from my iPhone Clearly, demanding $1,000 for a 20 minute fix using $5 worth of materials is outrageous. When Mrs. [Member Name Removed] called the next morning I told her that her request was ridiculous, her constant watering of the hillside was the cause of the problem, and her overall lack of patience, were all the reasons why I would not be sending anyone over that day as scheduled. I was as polite as could be when I told her no."

Took Sean McMahon one and a half days to bring our front yard from drab to fab! So nice, so respectful, so fast! Sean has done a variety of landscaping for me over the years that I have always been so happy with. He did a flagstone retaining wall with a variety of plants that I love, he then redid my front and side flower beds and created a path to the back yard. Last year he replaced the overgrown berm and flower beds in the back yard lined the yard with cobble and planted the most beautiful trees and plants that compliment each other. I have had so many compliments on my yard and am looking forward to him creating a patio extension with new trees and plants where an enormous evergreen hedge was removed. He is on time, efficient and is tidy. He is my go to for any outdoor work.
