MCNEIL'S PAVING

Recently Mcneils paving black topped our driveway. He came out measured and gave us a quote. We called to set up appointment to have the work done and it was within the week our driveway was finished. They were timely and professional. They marked the work to be done and showed us before proceeding. We wanted to extend the size a little from our original plan and they adjusted with no problem. The crew was friendly and cleaned up behind themselves. I feel we were given a fair price and we are pleased with the results.

They did a great job. My driveway looks fantastic. Much better job then the previous driveway company I hired. They cleaned it throughly, sealed all the cracks and finished the driveway where it ends at the road and even put a finish at the end so it won’t unravel. Joshua told me that if there is any trouble give him a call he guarantees the work. Most importantly they showed up when promised. I also compared prices and his were quite comparable.

My wife and I hired Josh, owner of McNeil's Paving, to do a $7000 resurfacing at our home in November 2021. He also paved over a former flowerbed, but he didn't put any crushed stone down for base or dig out any of the existing earth. Flowers grew through the pavement where he failed to apply the proper base. I called McNeil Paving on January 10, 2022 and told Josh about the problem. He said he would take care of it. It is now August 2022 and after almost a dozen calls with Josh and constant promises that he will come back and properly fix what was improperly done, he has not come out. He was also supposed to seal the driveway too, which has not happened. My conclusion, This man and his company are not dependable and he does not back up his work.

ON 10/4/2021 Work started out ok and then equipment failure. Waited 3 hours for equpment repair. Completed job on 10/4/2021 was told to wait 3 days before parking cars or walking on the driveway. After 2 weeksof completion of job notice several areas that were rough and uneven in spots. Called Mr. McNeil on 10/27/2021 and 10/28/2021 to come to the site to resolve the issues, was told roller was in the shop. No word from Mr. McNeil and called again on November 16, 2021 and was told would be out by the end of the week, with a no show. Called again on November 29/2021 and was told he was going to handle it. Mr. McNeil has never called or come to the site to inspect our concerns with the job. We paid $5791.00 for this job and feel that the issues need to be resovled. The picture we are sending shows the extent of the job and some of the roughness.

Excellent job. Arrived on time, price was reasonable, cleaned up everything afterwards. Waited a month to write review because I wanted to see how it weathered. Still looks great.

They did a great job. It was fast, professional, very affordable, 5-star rating, and I do recommend them to everyone that needs the work done.

They did an excellent job and were very professional The price was very competetive. The whole crew was really nice and they even threw the trash away for my wife. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again.

I work for a major road construction company in the Delmarva area, so I know what good work is and this company did an awesome job. All of the crew knew there job and performed it with great efficiency . They arrived on time at 8 AM and the job was completed and the area cleaned up and gone by 5:30 PM .

too expensive. I put a brand new mobile home on land that needed a driveway and the land graded.driveay is nice but he was supposed to put dirt then topsoil. He did all topsoil and acted like it was a favor. All topsoil washed away and there are uneven areas now. Also the driveway if too high to the ground and this is dangerous for guests and me as i have a disability and now difficult to get up and down off the driveway. I called numerous times to have him come fix it and he said he didnt know me and then remembered. Then he eas sick for qa couple of weeks, then he hurt hid eye, lots of excuses. gave up calli g eventhough i said  would writ angiess lidt and th BBB/ <br>

Showed up as planned, did quality work, and the seal coating looks great one year later. Very pleased with McNeil. Have recommended to friends. <br />

They were great. The price was reasonable. They came when they said they were going to come. They were fine.

Terrible job, unresponsive and this vendor promises things that he does not deliver. I will upload the pictures of my driveway as soon as I can. I would like to have this resolved amicably however, my next step is to contact the Consumer Product Division as well as the Better Business Bureau in Maryland and Delaware.
