Please don't hire them if you care about your house, mental health and you want to live in peace. Did huge mistake and hired these guys after their sales guy sold us the project and apparently Mike doesn't care what Ed (sales) sold us (more on this below). Here are the problems we faced. Only reason we went with these guys was because they give 5 year warranty on workmanship, which in hindsight is BS. 1) Once you pay most of the money, your project is on back burner. They will work on new projects for new clients. If you are hiring them, please keep at least 30%-40% of payment after completion and satisfaction (which I doubt ). 2) Spoiled the expensive range hood. Scratches on touch screen and hood. Hood is installed slanted. Apparently we got defective piece from Samsung. 3) Broke the window frame and used some cheap putty to cover it up. He also broke our exhaust fan in bathroom when he was working for some water connections in that area, initially he said he will fix it but later he said you can not blame me for things not working in your house ( we never used that bathroom when they were working at our place) If we ask anything this guy gets angry and shouts. 4) Most unprofessional and amateur installation of cabinets. Doors doesn't close fully, some drawers are not aligned properly, one of the drawer doesn't soft close at all, we have to push it in manually. Drilled numerous holes in cabinets , just to get a right one, all other holes are left there making the cabinet looking ugly. We asked Mike to fix these issues, he got upset and told use we were being anal (mid blowing and yes he actually said this in our face). Wow, how can you talk like this to clients and still be in business? 5) Charged $1700 to level the floor. Floor is still not level. Apparently the whole house needs to be leveled. 6) Ed (sales) told us they will create a mini kitchen in dining room for us to use when kitchen is getting renovated. Mike, does't honor what Ed sells. He told us "I don't know and I don't care what Ed sells". 7) Contract has installation of "tile" backsplash. When we got tiles, he says we have to pay extra for it as it is "glass" tile installations. Apparently "glass tiles" are not tiles. 8) He purchased $10-13 grout and charged us some $160 for it, when asked to show bill, he said his company did not give him. 9) Worst was when our brand new sink with brand new faucet started leaking flooding the kitchen floor which a week of using it, we informed him (thought of using his 5 year warranty, another mistake) but he decided since its not an emergency (flooding is not emergency) he will send someone when they are free. His guy came next day and asked us if we hit the sink pipe (lol wondering if anyone does that and why) . Somehow they fixed it and now again the cabinet below sink is all wet because of leaking pipe. We have decided to wave goodbye to his workmanship and spend money to get sink fixed , this is like buying peace of mind. I wish I can go back in time and never hired him. We had a closet guy come in for some other work. He looked at the job and sympathized with us. Same with our painter, he looked at it and said I'm sorry for you guys. Couple of our family and friends laughed at his job. Everyone took his contact to make sure they don't hire this guy even by mistake. This has been a terrible experience.

"This member was happy when we left the job. So it surprised us a little when we saw this review. However, I should have guessed there could be an issue based on overhearing a phone call he had with a company that provided him with one of the appliances he purchased on his own. He was complaining there were flaws to the appliance and wanted to get some money off or back. When I looked to see what he was talking about, there was zero flaws to what he was trying to argue with the other company about. Most of the people we work with are honest and appreciative of our work. However, we have been extremely fortunate to only have a few customers that have liked to try and take advantage to try and save or get money back. We do have pictures to back up how the finished product actually looks. Most of his pictures are before the finished walk over we do to fix the last items to perfection. We make sure we leave every job looking and working flawless. Please request the final pictures of this kitchen if you have any concern about our work. We would be happy to furnish them to you if you request. As far as the drain issue, we didn't do anything special to the drain and just hooked up the new sink to the existing piping. The drain was working fine before we left. I sent my plumber to snake the sink at no charge, and it was fixed. To answer his write up about the glass tiling, the original quote was for normal tiles that were much less expensive and easier to install. Glass tiling is a specialty and is much harder to cut than ceramic tile, and is harder to install. Therefore, the cost is more for any business that can install glass tiling. Search Google for Glass VS. Ceramic Tiling and you will see for yourself. We did tell him we didn't have an itemized billing system. We were upfront with the pricing and told him what everything cost with our labor. As far as the sales representative saying setting up an external kitchen, we set up what we normally do. A small spot by the kitchen were they can microwave and have some kitchen items they can use. Not sure what they were expecting. We don't put together a sink and set up a formal temporary kitchen. I was never trying to be argumentative, I just mentioned this is the temporary kitchen we set up for every customer. We never had a complaint about the temporary kitchen before, so I don't know what to say about that. I am sure nobody laughed at our work, but it does make it sound better in a negative review. I wish this member well and hope this isn't truly a common thing they do to all companies to save a buck, or manipulate a business to get something they want. The team did a great job and kept us updated with the progress along the way. They partnered with our town on permits and inspection and did their best to keep the surrounding area as clean as possible so that we could continue to use other areas of the downstairs. Meehan Renovations definitely met our expectations for this project - they were excellent to partner with and we would highly recommend them to anyone in our area!

Mike and his crew did a very nice job with our condo renovation. He was always easy to work with and accommodated our design requests as well as scheduling. He uses quality sub-contractors, particularly his tile installers and hardwood floor refinishers, both of whom did superior work. We were pleased with the final product and the pricing was reasonable compared to other contractors for the work we needed.

Excellent, they went above and beyond what I was expecting. They started when they said they would start.. Very professional. My home looks beautiful and they left it spotless. Everything when really good. Contractor gave very accurate time line of when everything could be completed. Worked with me and my wife during the whole process and kept my house as clean as can be while construction was going on. We lived in the house as all the work was being done. <br />

All went well. The demolition of the old porch went well. The construction of the two car garage also went well. Coordination with the other members of the team (masonry, electrician) went well and was timed well. Project was on time and completed on time. All workers worked well and displayed a high level of skill for their trade. <br /> After the job was completed I received very favorable comments from neighbors about the finished product. <br />

<p>Mike, the owner, arrived when he said he would and proceeded to do a wonderful job widening my bathroom doorway to accommodate my wheel chair. The job was neat, clean and any left over tiles were left behind should I need them in the future. </p> <p>Unfortunately, I am not financially ready to completely renovate my bathroom to fit my needs but when I am, I will definitely have Meehan Renovations have first dibs. </p> <br />
