We needed a project manager and contractor to renovate our condo for sale. Manuel was responsive, creative, dependable, and great at problem solving. So glad I went with Meja Construction! I tried to get someone to come out & change out a door for me before we painted the house. Most companies said they couldn't do it within that time. Others quoted me some pretty high prices. Manuel at Meja got back to me quickly, gave me the lowest quote, and had one of his guys come out and change my door that Saturday! The door is perfect! Excellent quality, looks awesome. Jose was on time, really nice, and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Meja Construction for your handyman needs! I would definitely call them again!

Took 4 months before start of work. Had to hire someone to repair leak in shower. Other pro said high quality parts were not used resulting in leaks. Used powersaw inside instead of outside of house causing dust, very unprofessional.

"Hello [Member Name Removed] thank you for your honest review although a D rating seems very low considering the fact that we remodeled 2 bathrooms and only had one leak although not sure where or how since you didn't call us 1st to peform the repair taking into consideration the entire contracted job was under warranty and we would of gladly fixed the issue. As for use of the power saw inside the home we assumed it was okay since the property was vacant and under renovation plus you and your brother were also working onsite and using power saws inside while building the temporary stairs and other work, it all made sence instead of waisting time and having to go up and down the flight of stairs to go outside. Although I do appologize if it was not okay for us to assume it was okay to use a power saw inside and only wish you had brought this up sometime during the entire month we were there performing work instead of 8 months later. Not sure how you calculate 4 months before start of work since as per the contract you signed on 9/13/2018 and we started on 10/01/2018 perhaps you are counting the negotiation time line which you are incorrectly clasifying as start time."

My wife and I have wanted to remodel our bathroom for quite sometime but we couldn't find a construction company that made feel us feel comfortable. We've heard several stories of construction work gone wrong so we were extra cautious. After making several calls to various construction companies MEJA gave us the best feeling. Manuel the owner was professional, and delivered the results we wanted. Him and his team delivered on time and were very good with our pets. Our bathroom is now remodeled and we now have a go to person that we trust in the construction business.

The work was satisfactory, it went very well. They seem to have people who do a variety of work, they have experts in each field If you've got a slight problem you can call them up and they will send out one of their people with expertise out to fix it. They seem to be good with the analysis of the problem. Also, they are creative in their thinking. The leak I had in the bathroom was unusual, they had really good thinking and analysis. They managed to trace it down and find where it was. I was very impressed with their techniques for finding the root of the problem rather than ripping things up. Their professionalism and clean up was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone who was looking for someone to do something that most people can't manage themselves.
