Very good job.

First, the door looks great and Melby made sure it was working before he left. He was very particular about balancing and shimming the door. He cleaned up after his project. He was on time and charged what he said he would. We are happy to say he is our go to guy for this sort of stuff. We are about to do a very large tile project with him.

Melby was on time and did a great job of replacing a noisy whirlybird bird on the roof. Would use Melby again, very nice young man.

I have a set of french doors leading out to a second floor balcony.  Part of the frame rooted and could no longer hold the door up.Melby manufactured a replacement board on site and replaced the rotted part.  He then painted the board and rehung the door.  The price also included fixing my ice maker.  True handyman, 

Melby was outstanding.  Installed new door in my office/den.  Price was very fair. Quality of work was awesome.  This is a new home and you cannot tell the door was a add on.  Will hire again for next project..

I've used Melby 4 times now in the past 2 months.  He always shows up on time, cleans up after his work and does a stellar job!   <br /> I've referred him to some clients and they are equally pleased.  He is honest and trustworthy.  Great job, great work ethic and very reasonable pricing!  Highly recommend.  I wish I could post photos of the work he did... it turned out gorgeous! <br />

Melby did a wonderful & professional job and I was pleasantly surprised not only with the quality of his work, but his knowledge, skills and versatilty.  We gave him challenging work and he completed on schedule and did not disappoint.  He is trustworthy , dependent and friendly.  He pays attention to details and takes pride in his work which a appreciate so much in a Contractor.   I was so impressed with the flooring installation.  He laid it so beautifully (patterns, cuts) and we get so many compliments on the quality of his work.  I will of course hire him again and refer him to others.  He is just terrific and I couldn't be more pleased!

I am planning on buying another house and I will use him again.  I am pleased with his work.  He was excellent.  He did an excellent job.  If I need him, when I buy my new house I will use him again and I will use him in the future.  The best recommendation is that I will use him in the future.

He did a fantastic job.  He was not originally scheduled to paint the one bedroom, but he was moving so fast on the installation of the floors that we could not keep ahead of him with the paining, so he added that room at a very small cost.  He completed the project ahead of schedule and did an excellent job.  In fact, I wish I had him paint the other two rooms, because the job on the third room was so much better, but I was tring to save money where I could. <br />

It went well. He was very efficient and I would recommend him.

Melby did a fantastic job at a great price! He's very professional and so talented. He understood exactly what I wanted, and was able to quickly and accurately determine what supplies would be needed and the cost of his labor. If you don't want to buy the supplies, he will purchase them for you, then let you reimburse him. He has experience in practically every area of home improvement, from flooring to plumbing to painting and sheetrock. I've hired him several times to do retiling in my bathroom shower, repairing holes in sheetrock, hanging and wiring a dining room light fixture, and putting up curtain rods. I then recommended him to my cousin, who lives in Red Rock Country Club, to build an outdoor barbecue for her. She was also very pleased. My next project is to landscape my back yard, and Melby will be doing it. He came by for an initial consultation, and told me in what order we would need to complete each step. He will be installing my sprinkler system, pouring concrete for the patio, and making a retaining border for my shrubs and flower beds. There isn't much that this man can't do! He's incredibly capable for being so young. <br />

Melby was actually recommended to me by another service provider who said Melby was well skilled in all applications of tile work. He arrived on time, examined the problem, listened to my (uneducated) approach, then recommended a solution including possible remedies for situations he may run into after delving into the tile and cabinet relocation project. His price was reasonable and acceptable. Melby and his assistant arrived on time and set to work. There were indeed unforeseen problems, but Melby resolved them and completed the job on budget. The quality of his work is excellent. Not only would I recommend Melby Handyman Services, I would hire him again...which I already have for a second project. He doesn't know it yet, but I've got a list of projects for him to do.

It was wonderful! He showed up on time, said the installation would take about 10 days but actually finished in 9. He had a family emergency and couldn't make it one day but he called ahead to let us know. The price was exactly what he'd quoted. He speaks both English and Spanish well. He usually brings two people with him to do the job. We were very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him.
