I would not recommend this business to anyone. A 9am appointment for a serious electrical issue , the first appointment of the day, made a week in advance, that could cause a house fire, was blown off without so much as a courtesy call. I had to text them at 9:30 to inquire about their ETA, to be told, " busy on another job. Find someone else."

Only company that showed up after two appointments from other companies. Quote was very reasonable and professional. I could tell this individual was knowledgeable and experienced. Called on some other places and they sent the most junior level commission based employee. Instead of just replacing a breaker and torques some lugs they wanted to sell me a new panel for only a low price of 4600 today only. But Mel came through and replaced the bad breaker those others places should be ashamed. I’ll use him again soon to fix my solar system breakers and boat lift

FANTASTIC I have 3 outlets in my kitchen and only 1 outlet worked. Called Mel and he really helped me out by making some time to check out my problem. He wasn't here more than 10 minutes and he figured out what was wrong and replaced a bad breaker. Gave me a fair price and his efforts to help me today are much appreciated.

We discussed all the things we needed and Mel provided useful information. We had a number of things done, including installing microwave, ceiling fan, ceiling and exterior fixtures, exhaust fans and shower lights in two baths, outdoor outlet, and new updated service panel. My favorite is the new backyard power outlet. I use it all the time for various projects. Mel did outstanding work and we would not hesitate to hire him again and recommend him to others.

HE ARRIVED ON TIME, BOUGHT THE OUTLET FOR OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR AND INSTALLED IT IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. HE DID A VERY NICE JOB, AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS SOME ELECTRICAL WORK DONE.

Mel has experience working with mobile/manufactured homes. My outdoor circuit breaker box had rusted out, and every time it rained, the A/C breaker would trip. Mel came out and gave me an estimate, and also found a dead rat that had crawled into the breaker box through the holes in the bottom! I felt his estimate for the work was good. He and his helper replaced the box with a new one and made sure everything was working properly. He seemed knowledgeable and efficient, and left everything clean when he was finished. I'll call him again when I need electrical work. <br />

Mel got started in a couple of days and got the work done in a couple of hours. Only problem was that the final price was $200 and I accidentally wrote the check for $220.....and he cashed it without mentioning that I wrote it for $20 too much. I'm going to assume it was an honest mistake on his part.

Mel and his helper arrived on time and each one took a different room and fan to install. They weren't easy jobs by any means. I have a flat roof in my family room and I have had numerous electricians tell me that they couldn't install a ceiling fan in that room. I was told they would have to run a line with a covering on it, etc, etc. When Mel was here the last time I asked him if he could possibly install a ceiling fan in that room. He looked at the area, asked me some questions and then said no problem, he could install the fan. After I bought my fans I called Mel and he e-mailed me that he was available the following day. He also had to install a fan in my living room that didn't have an outlet or previous electrical box. He had to put a box in and run a line and install the fan and a new light switch for me. He did all that without any mess or damage to my ceiling or wall. The two men had the two fans installed in almost two hours. <br /> I couldn't be happier, I will always call Mel's Electrical if I have any electrical work that need to be done. <br />

We had an air handler that would not work and the breaker flipped. There was a short in the power supply box in the attic. <br /> I called Mel and made an appointment. He was on time and professional. <br /> He fixed the problem quickly. I would definitely call Mel again. <br />

Mel and his helper were here on time, they explained what would be happening, did a great job and left things neat. He was very accommodating, sending out an extra receipt when my insurance company asked for it. <br />

<p>Mel has done various electrical jobs for us over the last several years, but this is the first since we became a member of Angie's List.</p> <p>He has always been the ultimate professional. This time he showed up right on time, and went to work non-stop until they all were installed. Just a very pleasant, soft spoken, and easy to communicate with. Nothing is ever a problem. Need to mention in the past he has gone out of his way to solve a problem, and never charged us extra. We would never use any other electrician, and since he is a young gentleman I hope he will be around a long time. I highly recommend him!</p> <br />
