"Unfortunately, some customers do not understand or accept the necessity of seams being placed in stone countertops... we avoid seams whenever we can. This customer came to our shop and our foreman explained the need for the seam. We will not put our installers in a dangerous position or risk their injury or risk property damage. This was a decision we were not willing to compromise. At that point, he could have chosen to go another direction, but he choose to accept our workmanship and move forward. During the install, he decided he didnt want a seam and options were offered to him. He accepted our offer to recut the section and move the seam to another location, using the same stone we had at our shop with no additional cost to him and the install would be completed that same day. With his acceptance of this option, the install process resumed. Shortly after he called and said no, he wanted a new slab purchased [no cost to him]and no seam... our shop foreman said we would refund his money and pull the stone and part ways. Again, the safty concerns were addressed with him. His wife called asking for the install to continue. He then went to our installers yelling that he wasn't going to pay, cussing and telling them to take their stone. His deposit was handed to him in cash and the stone was removed. He has continued his hostile and false claims and numerous text messages to our owner. We value our workmanship and it is our intent to provide the best final product for our customers."
"This customer wanted a apron front farm sink. we explained that she would need to have a carpender or cabinet guy come out and cut the front of her sink cabinet down to accomodate a farm sink. she hired a carpenter to do this work and we installed her granite countertops on schedule. her cabinets and walls were out of square, so adjustments had to be made and one section of her bartop had to be recut but was completed within 2 days. After speaking with her husband once completed; they were happy with our work. our company had nothing to do with her cabinet work; that was a different provider company."
