I hired Metroplex Pro Builders based off of Angi List. BIG MISTAKE! They are cons. They have no clue what they are doing. They so-call "sub" everything out to people they have never worked with, people that have no skills and with absolutely NO SUPERVISION. They destroyed my personal property. I was given no drawing or plans. They demanded more money even when tasks were not completed, done incorrectly, and an overall mess! Finally, I had to hire a board-certified construction attorney. With no luck of getting my project completed or getting any money back, I filed in Tarrant County JP3 Small Claims Court. March 23, 2026, a default Judgment was awarded to me. I want everyone to know; these people are scammers who threaten homeowners and need to be put out of business! The absolute worst experience of my life and I will never trust Angi List.

They didn't go. That's the problem. It took two and a half months instead of two and a half weeks. Cuz I would never come over and do the job. And when you show off the work, nobody would show up, it was one person at a time and they weren't in the Uh, even in the orders, they needed to be in. You have to have electricians here to make sure everything is disconnected, if they don't disconnect it and turn off the power somebody could have gotten really hurt. Instead they left Live wires everywhere. The gentleman who said he was an electrician, did he? He, he would, he didn't do it correctly because he didn't put the wires in the condolence because he didn't know. That was part of Texas code if you don't go by cold, you're not a certified electrician. They just hired anybody off the street to come and do the job, that was it. They all were either, they were Hispanic in which it was very difficult for us to To talk to. And they just, they didn't even know Ruth who was the, um, Or just the project manager.

They were hired to screen in my covered patio & do some painting. I showed them pictures of what I wanted & explained in detail the color, the extra painting, & the dog door I wanted included. They gave me a price for everything, & said they’d start Monday & finish in a couple of days. They started Tuesday, & stopped work Thursday with the job only half done. They didn’t do the work as I requested & haven’t returned. They only assigned one worker who apparently didn’t understand the color I wanted for the woodwork, the extra painting, the dog door or what the completed job should look like. They don’t show up, when they say they will & I have no confidence that the work will be completed as I requested. I included in the pictures I supplied the example I showed them of the patio enclosure I want.
