Two years ago I found Metropolitan Repairs through an AngiesList “deal”. I was so impressed with the work that was done that I immediately hired them to do another project for me. Since then they have done several projects for me, and based on my recommendations, additional projects for my brother and my uncle. We are all very satisfied with the work done - professionalism and timeliness were outstanding and the fees charged were very reasonable. As a homeowner, I have hired many plumbers through the years. None have impressed me the way Metropolitan Repairs has. I will continue to call them for all of my plumbing needs and will confidently recommend them to my family and friends.

Santos is great! This is the second time I have had him by. My bath tub overflow leaked into my living room. I am a new homeowner so I was a little freaked out. He was great about texting and graciously made time to swing by the next day. He was friendly, on time, and professional. He took a look at the tub and quickly/efficiently diagnosed the problem and set to fixing it. I strongly recommend him to anyone who needs a great plumber!

Metropolitan Repairs came to my rescue again! One of the bathrooms in my new property was leaking water. I got multiple quotes to make sure I was getting the beat deal. Additionally, Santos promised to fix the bathroom in a day. I am so impressed with the results! Not only the price was unbeatable, but he also finished the job in half a day. It is perfect! Toilet was clogged,i hired Metropolitan Repairs, toilet was not unclogged however the plumber got fully paid for the job, as if he had the "job completed". He tried literally for one minute and that was it.It was suggested to replace the toilet and I got a quote for the labor to replace the toilet. I called again 30 minutes later to say that the problem was not fixed, when I realized it was not fully unclogged. Also, the quote was increased to a higher $ when I actually decided to change the toilet. Very poor service. I will not hire again. Please honor your word and when you get paid to do a job, do it properly, treat your customers with respect and don't try to fool them.

"Thank you for reaching out. This is our second visit to your house for the same issue. The first time we snaked your toilet for free and you were very happy, writing an A review. Unfortunately we can’t do this work for free every time. This time we were called to your house to unclog a toilet. At arrival you were not present . You were called and notified that our plumber was at site. You were charged $100 dollars for our services and you were told that you needed a new toilet, as we tried everything possible to fix the existing one. The toilet was snaked and tested, and you were told that the problem may happen again, because the toilet was old and seemed to have problems. You were quoted $250 to have a new one installed and replaced, and we also offered you price matching from any plumbing company. We also offered you the $100 dollars credit from the total amount. You refused the offer and asked for a free installation of the new toilet. We would be happy to refund the $100, because we take pride in our services, and want to keep our customers happy. We wish you good luck with your project."

Over the past year Santos has provided several plumbing services. He repaired a leaking pipe in my master bath, furnished and installed a gas 50 gallon hot water tank, furnished and installed a new garbage disposal, installed a kitchen faucet I provided, replaced two outdoor hose bibs, replaced the main water intake valve and installed a pressure regulator, replaced two other shut off valves. He has always been prompt and worked quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the service from Metropolitan and would recommend them to anyone. The total price for all these services was $2,740.00

Santos is awesome! He was early, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was pretty obviously skilled at his work and was able to answer my questions while he worked. I am a new home owner and so when I asked questions about what other work he would do on the home if it were his he had a ready answer that would improve the efficiency/longevity of the system. When I ran my Jacuzzi idea by him he dissuaded me from a costly project by suggesting a much easier/cheaper solution. I would absolutely recommend Santos to anyone in need of a great plumber!

Fantastic! He arrived early and got right to work wearing a mask the whole time. I was so pleased Santos was able to repair/replace without ripping apart my ceiling. Santos also told me the pressure to my house is too high. He did wonderful work at a fair price I believe. I also appreciate how quickly he responds on text.

This is my first time using Metropolitan Repairs. I discovered an issue with my garbage disposal and they had availability the following afternoon to come out and replace it. They arrived within the appointment window; called before arriving to let me know they were on their way; and finished the work quickly and efficiently. During this time of social distancing and staying safe with COVID-19, the technician wore all the right PPE needed. I would definitely hire them again and would definitely recommend them.

Really well. This was my third time hiring Metropolitan Repairs. I called to arrange for reconnection of a gas stove that had been disconnected to accommodate kitchen counter replacement. My call was answered immediately. Mikhel (who had been to my house twice before) arrived within a few hours and connected the stove quickly for a very reasonable charge. We had used Santos before to help us fix plumbing issues in our house , so when we found out that we had a gas leak we called him right away. He was very responsive and committed to making sure that our house was in proper working order before he left! He always does the best job, and his prices are fair.
