The service was great!

David was very responsive and professional. He came out immediately to repair tub and followed up with the repair weeks later once the supply lines were delivered to me by a third party. Actually came on a Saturday to finish the job. Exceptional.

Responded promptly to telephone message. Came same day. After inspection gave firm cost and labor estimate. Left and promptly returned with parts. Replaced right sink strainer unit (essential sections copper). Replaced pipes under sink to insure that drain from sink had a sufficient gradient to flow freely to the connection with the pipe from the garbage disposal in the other sink to prevent the existing waste build up in the connection and old horizontal section of the drain pipe (a problem I did not know we had). Efficient, reasonable and very pleasant professional plumber. Immaculate, careful cleanup of work area.

I saw them through Angie's List and the coupon for discount. I printed out the coupon and when I paid them, they refused to honor the 5% discount for Angie's List members.

Meyer came out within a couple of hours after I called. He quickly figured out the problem, got the replacement piece needed, and completed the work. Nice guy, efficient, clean, and quick..

David was able to come out the day after we called (just before Xmas, busy time). He recommended replacing the sink rather than trying to replace busted Grohe hot water cartridge (due to age and cost). So he then came back the next day to install the faucet we went and bought. A few days later we noticed a small leak had developed, so he returned a day later (no cost to us) and resealed to stop the leak. Despite having to drive from Eastbank to Westbank three times and spend 90 mins on labor, the total charge was $142. Totally fair.

David did a great job and solved a nagging water pressure problem I had been living with for years. He went the extra mile to save me from having to buy an expensive new fixture. I'm grateful every time I step into the shower!

Exceptional service

He knew what he was looking for - bought the replacement diverter/fixtures, worked under the house and in the house, didn't mess up the nice tile in the shower.  A week earlier - he replaced out on-demand water heater - at my request, and did a great job at that too.

I was so impressed from start to finish. David Meyer responded quickly and showed up when he said he would. He responds quickly to text messages. His price was more than fair and affordable. I would absolutely use his services again and recommend him to anyone. <br />

We used David in the past for a plumbing job that nobody else would tackle.  David did an excellent job and was very professional, so we decided to call on him again.  David took out the leaking dishwasher unit and showed me where some previous plumbers put in piping incorrectly and that the backflow was probably contributing to the problems with the dishwasher.  Throughout the process I was able to watch and learn some plumbing dos and don'ts and I greatly appreciate it.  We plan on calling on David again because he has experience with older homes in New Orleans and the issues they may bring, while maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor. <br />

David Meyer is thorough with his work, extremely clean, professional, and will not leave a job unfinished. I highly recommend his service. He has gone beyond the basic services to secure that the work is done correctly and is not left unfinished. He will leave your site better than he found it. <br />

Upon inspection, Mr. Meyer realized there was nothing wrong with the gas water heater and lit it. We basically determined that the Entergy man was lazy and didn't feel like laying on the ground to light the water heater pilot. Mr. Meyer was very punctual. Got there at exactly 8:00 like he said he would. I will use him again for all my plumbing needs. <br />

Gas leak! </p> <p>David dropped what he was doing, came out located and fixed a gas leak in an awkward place under the house on that same day. My house did not explode and I was cooking gumbo by 3pm. We were absolutely thrilled with David's work.  We were having a new laundry area created by a different provider who came down with health difficulties, leaving the job less than half finished since February.  We ended up calling David based on the recommendation of another Angie's List provider.  He came over the same day, gave us a quote, and started working.  When we needed an electrician as well, he recommended one and talked him into getting us serviced as quickly as possible.  David went above and beyond what we expected, including installing some insulation that we bought for the laundry area.   <br /> We have some rental units as well, and David is sure to become our go-to plumber from now on.  If you need a reliable, hard-working, conscientious master plumber, call Meyer Plumbing.  We cannot say enough good things about David's work. <br />
