We have used George Drakos for our plumbing needs for the past three years, and have always been very happy with his service and pricing. What can I say about George! He is an artist of his trade. Took his time, measured everything perfectly, and the entire construction came out flawless. The caulking looks like it was made from a machine. He is extremely knowledgeable, hard-working, and will not leave the job until it’s perfect.. also a really nice guy!. No doubt in my mind he’s the best in trade and will hire him for the rest of our bathrooms! I highly recommend him! It’s hard to find contractors of this quality... if not impossible... i’m glad I found him. Thank you George!

George was very prompt and provided great service. Came out quickly, gave accurate estimate, and completed work in the agreed upon time frame. I would use him and recommend his services as well. He was able to do a custom tile shower, tile floor, install toilet and double vanity to complete my bathroom in the basement. Very satisfied with the work that he did, he actually had to come in after the previous contractor I had decided he did not want to finish the job after starting it.

George did a beautiful job renovating our two bathrooms ( one with a stall shower and one with a tub and shower ). He made suggestions for the shower/bathtub units, flooring, toilet and vanities. We are very happy with the end results and would highly recommend him.

Great. George immediately answered my first phone call on his cell. Made an appointment and came for repair or estimate the next day. Gave good, clear options and prices. The next day he picked up, brought, and installed a top new toilet and removed the old, rusted broken one. He also gave estimates on faucet repairs or replacements, which we will have him do for us soon.

George did a great job. He came the next day to confirm the part needed by taking a photo. A few days later he picked up the part and came to replace the old one. It works great now

George under promised and over delivered. I had a SanSpa jetted tub/shower insert removed and replaced with an acrylic shower surround with shower base and sliding glass doors. George completed the work on time, at the price quoted, and helped me solve some special order problems that I had along the way. We were preparing the house for sale and my realtor was very concerned that we were replacing the shower with an acrylic surround instead of tile, but was pleasantly surprised at the results. George provided me with good advice to help me with the selection of materials and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and use him again.

George (the head of MGD) personally oversaw the entire project. We provided all the primary materials (vanity, tile, tub, tub filler, toilet etc.) and MGD Construction did everything else. This turned out to be more cost effective than any other option we found. (We tried full service bath stores, Lowes professional installation services and others. MGD offered the best price and in the end we think we got the best overall installation). From the demo of the old bathroom to the final installation of glass for the shower everything MGD did was first rate. George is clearly a perfectionist, and it shows in his work. He is fully licensed plumber in several states and has years and years of construction experience that showed in several areas. George also has a handful of subs that are his regulars that do specialty work for him. For example, his tile sub is excellent. Some of the best tile work I've ever seen. In the end we got a high quality remodel at a very reasonable price. As for the cost of the entire remodel... the total cost was roughly $20,500 including $9500 to MGD for their services and $11,000 for all the major components of the bathroom which we purchased. Sorry about the photos... they don't do the end product justice. In short, I'd highly recommend MGD. If you select George and MGD you won't be disappointed.

Mr Drakos is reliable and honest. I wouldn’t use any one else.

George has been VERY helpful and professional for our home needs. Recently he came out at 8:30 pm (after working in Salisbury all day) for a non-emergency simple job that any other plumber would have turned down in a second. His pricing and workmanship are outstanding. I will not call anybody else in Ocean City.

It went great. He leveled the toilet(at no extra charge) which was something we didn't know we needed.

All was excellent! After arriving on-time and a friendly introduction, George switched gears into his professional persona, assessing the leak problem. Once he identified it as water hardness build up, that was preventing a good seal, George sanded the face of the valve. Once the cartridge, etc., was put back and the water ran for about 15 minutes or so, the leak was nonexistent. Afterwards he cleaned up; said he was sure the problem was fixed but if he needs to return, just call. I used the shower for a week before leaving a review to make sure the water leak was gone. Needless to say, I am very happy that I checked out Angie's List and found George Drakos of MGD Contracting LLC. If I have another plumbing issue, I will be sure to call George for his excellent service, prompt response and arrival! Thank you!

George and his crew were fantastic. He drove out in terrible weather to look at the job. The price was very reasonable and they were able to get out to us quickly. What's more is they were able to finish the job quickly and it turned out great. Would recommend this company in a heart beat.

We scheduled an appointment 2 weeks later after the estimates for him to perform the work. During this entire time, George was EXTREMELY responsive and so easy to deal with. He discovered once he could see behind the faucets that the shower pipe did not need to be replaced, but the faucet knobs and pipe to spout were the cause of the leak. This was great news! My husband is extremely picky and a neat freak beyond belief so we were impressed and beyond pleased with the solution, clean up and again honest, friendly service George provided. We will recommend him to everyone! Needless to say, our bill ended up being $250 less than original estimate with shower pipe. We only wish he could perform work in PA too! If we end up purchasing our own condo, we'll definitely call George for any work that needs done! Keep in mind when he replaced the items in the fiberglass shower, there was NO access panel as the showers are in the ceilings of the hallways in the condos. He did check to make sure there was absolutely no leaking when he was finished as maintenance had already opened up a hole in the hallway. We highly recommend George for his fabulous service, skills, flexibility and honesty. We highly recommend your contacting him for all your plumbing/bathroom remodeling needs!

George Drakos was extremely responsive and professional. He accurately determined what the issue was and even went to pick up the new parts that were necessary to correct the problem, which we really appreciated. His price was extremely fair and the work was completed quickly. We are very happy with the completed work and would highly recommend George to family and friends. He will be our "go to" plumber anytime we need plumbing work done in the future!
