The job was completed in a timely and professional manner, Mike Mellor and crew showed up every morning on time and worked continuously, cleaned up everything, everyday. It was a phenomenal experience with Mike, the owner of MGM Carpentry. He answered our request for help with minutes, gave us a quote for the work to be done, arrived the very next day and had the work done efficiently and professionally with no disruptions of our time. Mike was able to provide a thorough in home estimate quickly. We agreed on a price for the initial trim carpentry, interior door installation and casing along with numerous areas that required correction from prior substandard workmanship. Mike and his crew arrived early, worked diligently to provide meticulous craftsmanship. A true professional, one who takes pride in his work every step of the way through to completion. It has been my experience, that sort of dedication to home renovation is a rarity of late. He isn’t cheap and he doesn’t cut corners. My advise if you want your job done perfectly the first time, minus the stress and strain, hire MGM!

We were very pleased with the staircase and railing construction completed by MGM Carpentry and highly recommend them for Carpentry and construction work. Mike worked efficiently completing the demolition of the previous stairs and railing in one day. He identified and corrected structural deficiencies from the previous construction and completed the remodel and finish work within the time he originally stated it would take to complete the job. He was even able to stay on-budget with the exception of the additional repairs identified during demolition. Even then, he discussed any changes early and found effective solutions that didn’t significantly increase the cost of completing the work. We are absolutely delighted with the quality and appearance of the finished staircase. He kept a tidy workspace and cleaned everything up very neatly once the job was completed. He exceeded our expectations. We will hire him again for any other construction needs.

Mike was fantastic to work with from day 1. He used his expertise to translate our inspiration photos into a plan that would work for our space. He consulted us through decisions we needed to make and made sure we were comfortable with the plan before the execution phase. He stuck to a tight timeline and had a beautiful finished product. We are very happy with this project and will absolutely be calling him again for the next one. You will be in great hands if you work with him.

Mike Mellor (MGM Carpentry) had previously completed kitchen cabinet work and we then hired him to replace our existing entertainment center with a custom built one. Mike and his crew were professional, efficient, courteous and neat. We love his work so much that we are already talking to him about another job at our home. Great! Called this AM. Mike was here by noon, fixed door and gone by 1. Very small job for him but he came anyway and door almost as good as new!
