Mike is that rare bird - not only does he know what he's doing, but he is honest, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. He has done all of the work on my home for the past several years, and I have always been very happy with the outcome.

Everything went exactly as we had hoped

Mike and his crew were very professional. He kept me informed of what to expect, and up to date as the work was being done. He consulted me whenever there were decisions to be made. I felt informed and respected throughout the process. He is very thorough and stands by his work. I have used Mike for a number of jobs. Now my next-door neighbors are having him work on their home too.

Mike did some siding and weatherproofing to go with a landscaping project we were doing. The landscaping job had many delays but Mike kept the momentum of the entire project going and called often to coordinate the work.

Mike carefully explained all facets of the job before beginning work, so I had an understanding of what to expect. His crew came prepared, clearly knew what they were doing, and were pleasant and professional at all times. I love the look of the back of my house, and, once again, can use the small porch to safely access the back yard. Most importantly, my large, screened porch was saved from further water damage, and its new roof ensures that, rather than leak through, rain will drain!

We started out by asking Mike to work on the insulation of our sizeable attic.  We have contacted different insulation companies but Mike was the only one who took the time and effort to come up with an idea that could bring the attic closer to a finished space.  He explained every step with us and he was very patient to answer all our questions.  Mike and his crew were meticulous in sealing the work area to prevent any dust from entering the living and dining room, which we really appreciate!  Throughout the work, Mike has kept us posted of the progress everyday.  We were never in the dark.  We were so impressed by the work done in the attic that we decided to hire them for a few other things and all the results were equally satisfactory.  Mike is a great guy to work with--he was always responsive even though he had many projects.  He treated his clients as if they were their only client.  He never forgot a thing you mentioned to him. He and his team would go beyond their duty to ensure that the work is done well.  We will definitely hire them again!!!  <br>

Mike was great.  He came on time, made quick work of the job, and left the moulding looking like it did before removal.  He let me know the details of what he was doing and cleaned up after himself.  I would definitely use him again in the future. <br />

<p>My wife and I had previously hired an incompetent contractor who charged $10K just for the initial demo!  We were stuck after we fired him!  </p> <p>We called Mike Foote and told him the story and he showed up right away to go over the details.  Mike came to our rescue!!</p> <p>On short notice, Mike came right over and came up with a plan for the renovation.  He acted as general contractor supervising the great electrical work (Ken Lowe) and great plumbing (Tom Fotis) work that we had done as well as building us a brand new kitchen and bath (floor to ceiling).  The project took a few months and Mike and his crew (Jaime & Harry) were great to work with!    Very professional and great attention to detail.  Mike suggestions saved us lots of time and money and got our placed finished and made really beautiful and ready to rent before Labor Day as we had hoped!</p> <p>We would certainly recommended Mike Foote for any renovation or remodeling work and would hire him again in a minute!</p> <p>Thank you Mike & Crew!</p> <p>Bob and Cara</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />

Very happy with the job. It was a bigger job than I realized but Mike explained everything he was doing. I had a few other people look at the job and they recommended the same work but at a higher price. I will use Mike and his team in the future. <br />

We originally bought a big deal on Angie?s List for a small bathroom remodel through Pros Home Services. After taking half of our money up front, Pros? quality of work was so bad, that 12 weeks into the bathroom remodel, we had to fire them. We needed a contractor ASAP to finish the work, since we were without a shower for 12 weeks - and Angie?s List recommended Mike <br /> Foote.  We told Mike our situation and he showed up right away to go over the details.  He had several jobs at the time, but still found the time to fit us and help us out.  He was great. The previous contractors had no idea what they were doing and left the bathroom in a horrible state ? the subway tile was installed completely crooked, the drywall had to be ripped down again, the beadboard was installed in a way that would give us major water damage, etc.  Mike walked us through all of their major mistakes to make sure that we didn?t end up with a bathroom that needed to be gutted again in a few months.  He came up with ideas on how to fix all of their poor-quality work without having to gut the entire bathroom and leave us without a shower for several more weeks.  He was proactive, asked the right questions, walked us through design options, and communicated with us very clearly on the timeline each day.  Somehow, in about 3 weeks, he was able to fix all of the previous contactor?s mistakes and we ended up with a bathroom that we absolutely love.  We are very thankful that he was able to help us out during our horrible experience.  We learned in the process that you can?t trust many contractors but Mike Foote is definitely trustworthy and I would use him again for all future projects.  He?s very easy to work with, his quality of work is great, he works hard to ensure his clients are happy with the end result, and most importantly ? he communicates very clearly about the project.  We should also note that his team was also great to work with and we even ended up using his painter to repaint our entire foyer and bedrooms ? he also did an amazing job. <br />

Mike and an assistant successfully completed this installation in about an hour. Mike kindly agreed to do this small job and squeezed it in on the day I called for his help. He was most professional throughout this interaction and I would definitely consider rehiring him in the future. <br />

Mike came with his team and took care of all the exterior small jobs around the house.  They work efficiently and do a great job.  They will tackle anything without complaint and are can-do. <br />

First of all, I have to say Mike has been a pleasure to work with.  He's been very fair with me on pricing and dealing with me and my idiosyncrasies especially with adding on little projects while he's been here.  Yes, there have been delays but a lot of that was due to the winter storm and me adding to the project. It was supposed to be just a bathroom remodel but I added 2 other rooms and a roof in the process.  And it's unfortunate everyone's schedule became chaotic but I've learned that there are things that are out of anyone's control and not to sweat those things.  But Mike was very accommodating and was able to complete the projects per the agreed new schedule. <br /> The best part is that he completely stands by his work and he will fix all the little things that my eye catches, which by the way is way too much as both he and my wife can attest to.  He and his crew are the first contractors that I felt I could leave here alone without supervision and worry if anything is missing.  Also another big plus for Mike is that he often replies back to texts or answers his phone when I call; and when I do leave a voicemail I never get the auto reply stating his voicemail is full.   <br /> I know I spent a lot of money on lots of different jobs and living in an old building there are plenty more to do, which I will be hiring Mike to complete.   <br /> <br />

Update 11/3 - Mike and his crew followed up on his promise to return and fix the mistakes from last year. Although it took a lot longer than I hoped for, Mike did the stand-up thing and committed to making everything right. The shower floor now look much nicer and I'm happy with the way everything looks. A lot of contractors won't stand behind their work, but I have to hand it to Mike for acknowledging that there were problems and making the effort to get the job done. Thanks again. <br /> <br />

Michael was wonderful. From the first time I spoke with him to the two visits he made to our house, he was really great. He explained how busy he is with the repairs related to ice dams from this winter, but he squeezed us into his schedule and came to our house. He helped to diagnose the problem with our door right away. He was punctual, professional and very friendly. We would definitely hire him again. <br />

Highly recommended.  Mike is warm, friendly, funny, professional and punctual.  He responds quickly on email or by phone.  I am grateful for the work he did on my place.  The bathroom was a complete mess and I couldn't fix it myself.  Mike and his co-worker Harry came out to take care of the work.  After completing the bathroom Mike came by a few weeks later to follow up and take care of some touch ups.  I wouldn't hesitate to call Mike in the future if I need anything.  Thanks, Mike!! <br /> <br /> <br />

Michael and his crew were totally professional, prompt and reliable. The quality of work done was excellent and the overall cost extremely reasonable!  Michael was under alot of presssure to finish the job under a very tight schedule as my tenants were moving in within a week's time!  He worked extra hours and got the job done on-time, within budget and with superior skill!  <br /> Michael is very thoughtful and dilligent in his approach to work.
