Texture on ceiling too heavy, did not match rest of house, concrete slab did not set up correctly, bathroom room 3+ inches off drawing, 7+ weeks to have shingles installed, bathroom plumbing not completed, baseboards & door knobs not installed Mr. Heyer was given notice of the problems, he failed to correct them.

I'm writing this review to save future customers the hardship we went thru with Michael John general contractor. Sadly we did not ask for references before starting an addition to our house in S Tampa. At 1st appearance John seems like a reputable contractor but if u r looking for someone to over promise and under deliver this is ur guy. R project was a 400 square feet room addition realistically should of been completed in under 100 days yet took 9 months! He had no attention to detail, loss r plans & hired second rate sub-contractors. Due to Michael John Enterprises we had complications of mold, flooding, & property damage. Furthermore we found out he didn't install ductwork correctly. A year later the ceiling had settling cracks that we had to have redone. The only reason our house addition was completed is because we threatened to contact the Department of Business & Professional Regulation , Hillsborough County Building Department & a lawyer for lack of professionalism & deliberate neglect of project. Trust me when I say don't hire this contractor...he is not sincere in what he tells u & has no ethics.

This is my second project with Michael John Enterprises and I couldn't be happier! Mike is responsive and willing to put up with all my questions about the job. This time I was building a new detached garage: 16x38 feet in the backyard with alley access, tandem style parking. I'm so happy with the way in turned out and the building went up in record time. Mike even helped me coordinate some additional work on my property at the same time. He has great subcontractors and is willing to work with you until things are right. If you have a remodel/addition project give Mike a call - you won't regret it!

Very good. They were timely, courteous and knew what they were doing. All inspections were passed without any problem. We were very pleased with the project.

Everything went great. They were good. They were able to finish the work they needed to do. Easy to work with. It was a great experience.

We have not started yet. But I have every confidence in the world in him.

This was a great experience with a contractor! And I've had some bad ones for sure. The hold up at the beginning was getting the architect to complete drawings, but once that was done and we got the permit and things started rolling. I interviewed three people and decided to go with Mike because he was personable, experienced and reasonable priced. <br> Mike kept me updated during the process and worked with me when I added some additional work - two new windows, new glass in side entry door and siding replacement to match the rest of the house. Overall, the project came out great and I am very happy with my new living room and the house looks great with a new roof. He also answered a lot of my questions along the way! <br> I will be hiring this company again when I am ready to build a garage. It went well.

He came to our house with laptop and program to draw the design of our addition as we talked about our wish. It was great to get a picture and agree with the design in an interactive setting. He left and a few day later came back with a fixed quote that was firm. Any mistakes or cost over-runs was his responsibility. After the permit was completed, the work started. It was quality work with clean up as they progressed. We are very pleased. We plan to have him do additional work.

They did a very good job. They were very efficient. They did everything they said they were going to do.
