Great. Got hold of Eric Torres just when he was to start another job at around 8:30 PM. He told me he was about to start a job, and that if he were to work after 10:00 PM it would cost double time. I agreed to that and he arrived at about 9:30. Before 10:00 he was finished and the clog was removed. Eric was professional and courteous. We are quite pleased with the experience and would recommend Michael's Plumbing to anyone.

Overall this was a great job. We had a bit of a rocky start due to some re-scheduling and shuffling of personnel, but the team ended up doing great work. Their initial estimate was not the least expensive, but the job was completed with very few hitches so we are pleased with value of the work.

Excellent! Kent came out and gave us an estimate. He was cordial, explained what we needed and how the job would be performed, and showed us on his phone the kind of pump that would be installed. He was not pushy. He has many years of experience doing plumbing and was straight forward. He said he would send an estimate on Friday that week, when he was in the office, and he did. Michael's requires half down before ordering the parts, and the remaining half upon completion of the job. Job went smoothly, Brandon showed up on time and ready to do the work that was needed. He did an excellent job, kept me informed and cleaned up every bit of mess that was made before leaving. An A+ experience!!

Greg really went overboard getting the washing machine drain unclogged. Exemplary job and quite a long time. With all of his dedicated efforts he removed the clog, tested the line and I am happy to say it works great now.

"Thank you for submitting your concerns. We take our customer's safety very seriously and when it comes to carbon monoxide our technicians are trained to test for its presence on all service calls. When we do find a positive test it can be very concerning so we do offer to send the department manager back again at no charge to perform a second test to confirm or deny the presence of carbon monoxide. We also appreciate our customers obtaining a third party verification of the presence of or lack of carbon monoxide. With this potentially deadly gas we can't be too careful. I'm sorry that you felt as though our technician was "just trying to sell a furnace." This is never our intention and we are merely testing for safety."

They quoted one price, and called back after it was complete to inform me they under quoted by $300. They said it took longer for the technician to do the job and they had to call in another technician to finish the job. I told them he was a nice man but couldn't do the service and the technician told us he had to call for back up. I ended up paying it because he would have taken us to court. I felt sorry for the technician that he was put in that position.

I had originally gotten an estimate for this work from a local company that I have done business with for almost 50 years and installed the heating and cooling system in both my houses. I was shocked at the estimate ($ 650), so I decided to get another. I have seen the Michaels trucks around town for years, so I called for an estimate. <br /> The young man from Michaels that gave us the estimate arrived a little late, but he called and told us he was going to be about 20 minutes late. <br /> Scheduled the work for 3 - 5 PM on a subsequent day. The technician arrive at 3 PM sharp. In about an hour and a half he was done and writing his invoice for $ 215. <br /> I had the occasion to go into the crawl space the next day to move some electrical wiring and noticed the ducting was neatly done and sealed. <br /> Both of Michaels technicians were young professionals and obviously well experienced. <br /> Michaels has a new customer with 3 homes and the other company has lost a customer. I can only assume the other company feels their work is so valuable is because they call themselves "Energy Experts" <br />

We were having troubles getting a plumber to return our phone calls to set up an appointment. The previous plumber had come out and immediately said we needed a new hot water heater for about $4K when he didn't even physically touch it or test it. <br /> I called Michael's plumbing in the morning and they said the only open spot on their calendar was for 3 to 5pm. We accepted this time. About 11:30am, we received a call that they were ahead of schedule, and if it would be OK if the plumber arrived in about 30 minutes. We said yes. <br /> When he arrived I showed him the water heater and the leaking PTRV and he said that the original expansion tank that was installed was too small, and that was causing the PTRV to fail. Within 30 minutes, we had a new double size expansion tank (properly pressurized this time), and a new PTRV valve installed. <br /> As it turns out, the 'technician' that came out was not just a technician, but actually the owner Michael. Fantastic service, arrived before their scheduled time, explained everything, and did not try to sell a whole new system..just did what was needed to be done. <br /> We will call Michaels first from now on, for all of our plumbing, heating, electrical needs. <br /> <br />

We have used Michael's Plumbing for several heating/cooling and plumbing issues since moving to the Sparks area. The work has always been done promptly and efficiently. When a question arose about a service bill, Michael himself contacted us to resolve the issue. This company is committed to customer satisfaction and does quality work. We will continue to use them for our plumbing, heating and electrical needs. <br /> We have recently contracted with Michael's Plumbing to do a bathroom remodel for us.

He came out and took a look at my swamp cooler, and told me that I actually needed a roofer, not a plumber, and that there was nothing wrong with the cooler. I was not charged by him for the estimate.
