They gave us a straight quote that was the same as the final cost. There were three guys on the crew.  They were very professional and courteous.  It was also a very hot summer day and they worked hard from 8AM to 5PM to finish the job.  They didn’t take extra breaks or cut corners with the work.

Working with the office and the sales guy was excellent. The sales guy met with me once onsite and then returned to do other measurements when i could not be there. Communication with Nichole the project manager in the office was Frequent and timely. Very professional, no hidden anything. I even got a call from the owner Mike Dunbar to see how my experience was going. Ironically other fence vendors warned me that that Middelbury would be pricey - but they came in less, or right around the same for better fence. (I wanted a certain style that others did not have standard) The job was very tricky - they had to custom cut panels to edge around trees and roots. Each panel looked outstanding. During hole digging they pulled a sizable stump, took it with them when they left. The only area for suggested improvement was that I had two different latches, and they installed the wrong latch - didn't realize there two different ones- so I would recommend the PM tell the crew chief to watch for that. Also maybe the crew lead should ask specifically the customer what latch is going where and how they want it put on....because my other latch was put on opposite from how I would - best to check in with customer rather than assume how they want it done. <br /> <br />But that's the easy stuff. The hard stuff was done impeccably. I even asked if they could close a slight gap where a panel met a post and they did it over, with a smile, and it was better. Even at the end of the day, at 6pm. No grumbles. Very skilled, hard workers, working in rain or shine, showed up early, worked late, job took just under two days. When they had a situation with a root, or overhanging tree, they told me the options, their recommendations, before doing. <br /> <br /> <br />

The process of installing our fence was smooth with a wonderful result. <br /> Nicole was our initial contact with Middlebury. She visited with us to discuss our options answering all of our questions and explaining the process. Nicole was wonderful. She remained accessible to us throughout the process. She made certain that details were correct and that the job was not finished until we were completely satisfied. <br /> The installation itself went well. The installers worked in a professional manner. When we decided that we wanted a little tweaking, the follow-up was done in a pleasant and timely manner. <br /> Our biggest take-away in dealing with Middlebury Fence was that they wanted us to be happy with the process and the result. We certainly are. We will use their services in the future when we decide to do additional fencing. <br />

The price, service, and quality were all excellent. Highly recommend them. <br />

<p>They did a good job overall, but they had to come back and fix a few places afterwards, and they did it. That was good. I thought the price was a little bit high, but I did get other bids where everybody was charging the same amount. The price was still competitive. The professionalism and knowledge of the staff was good.</p>

They were great and the customer service was awesome. The fence looks great. We would highly recommend them. They were prompt, professional, affordable and competitive.

Wonderful - very nice, very prompt with estimate and starting work. Took an extra day due to rain, but the guys worked long and hard (and they had to drive a couple hours each way to the job.) Beautiful job, very happy.
