Aloha, we are an intimate, full service, home and building company. Mid Pac Services has a crew of 6 individuals and tries to keep most of our services within our company. We are licensed and insured and have been in business in the islands for over 20 yrs. We are registered with The Hawaii BBB with an A+ rating and among Angies list, we can also be reviewed through Home Depot's Red Beacon, and our personal web site. We accept cash and credit cards.

"Thank you for the positive review. I wish I could take the credit, but I have several techs and co workers that make us look good. In both instances that work was done, Our electrician, and journeyman technician did 99% of the work, I just showed up to inspect, invoice & give a few "At a boys!""
"We are sorry that this very small, 3-4 week project turned out this way. It was not the best fit and we are saddened by the experience. Regarding the owners review, although he had a couple of criticisms that I will apply as constructive and helpful in the future, and it was appropriate to bring accountability to our delays in a couple of small instances, the overall short relationship was very concerning. The owner was regularly intoxicated as was observed by myself and my workers and we believed this negatively effected his ability to relate to personnel. He used profanity in the most extreme way regarding those on the job and took a very intimidating posture when confronting issues. In several conversations, subtle threats were made and I was concerned for the general moral of my workers and maybe even their safety. The owner even made inappropriate remarks about workers and the local Hawaiian culture which was offensive, though I doubt he was aware of the offense. In the end, it was not the criticism that I found unbearable, it was the verbal abuse that came with it, and after simply objecting to the owners putting his hands on me as he spoke, he told me to leave. In all my years as a contractor or a member of my community, I have never been so verbally assaulted or asked to leave a home. Nothing remotely close!! At no time did any of my workers or myself ever respond rudely, with inappropriate language, or rude behavior. I do not regret that I stood up to this behavior. I do care for this owner and with a genuine personal sincerity, I could only respond that, "I will pray for you" and I meant it and I did, and continue to pray for their household."

"Regarding the concerns expressed in the review, we have learned: 1) The projects overall costs did exceed the initial contracted amount. We associated this mostly to an extensive amount of extra change work orders requested by the owner. However, we should have updated the owner on each extra change work request that was written and/or spoken. We have since then documented each change work order with our customers. 2) Although our time line and schedule was as contracted for the first 90 days, it was extended beyond the contracted time and what was comfortable to the owners. We associated this to the extensive amount of change work orders requested by the owner. We have since then held regular team meetings to update our team on regular deadlines and change work orders whereby giving them the overall scope of work and timelines. In conclusion, we are grateful for their business and value the chance to learn from this owners critique. We hope the concessions offered to the owners in the way of a small final discount, and reduced wages for final work, offered some consolation. we were glad to hear that the owners were happy with the end product."
