The official reasons that my family sought a complete driveway replacement were 1) the slope of the apron caused damage to cars if drivers did not enter/exit very slowly and/or at an angle, 2) the damage from tree roots and age caused massive overall cracking over the entire length of the driveway, and 3) in one such damaged area, the concrete tilted toward the northwest foundation of the house and water would pond there during any level of rain - or use of the sprinkler. We also wanted to add a walkway and widen the driveway to ten feet along the side of the house to accommodate a large pickup truck and trailer. Now, the property is on a busy city street and the driveway is more than 1500 square feet. It curves around to the back of the house where there is a turn around and a double carport. So, you can imagine that quotes for replacement were extremely daunting for us (we were expecting to pay $12k-$15k). We quite literally saved for more than a year for this particular project. And it was well worth it. We got at least five quotes. We decided to take our chances with Mid South Concrete after reading reviews on Angi and meeting with Mr. Acuna. Personally, I was very worried that I would make a very expensive mistake and become one of the people who had to have a *new* driveway torn out and repoured, doubling the cost to my family. We were also unable to park on the street, so any problems and/or delays would cause an additional parking burden... In this case, I trusted my gut and Mid South Concrete did not disappoint. We are giddy with excitement about our brand new driveway. Mr. Acuna is punctual, and he and his crew showed up when he said they would and did the work exactly to specification. I would recommend the company to anyone looking to have major concrete work done the correct way for a fair price. We are actually in talks with family about obtaining a quote from Mid South Concrete for front walkway and sidewalk replacement within the next year based on the work this crew has already done. Thanks Mr. Acuna and Mid South Concrete! You've helped our family realize our three-year dream!

Very professional from the first meeting. Came and gave an estimate and discussed the process. Gave me a timeline due to his busy schedule and he kept with it. Very professional, worked in a timely manner, work was cleaned up afterwards, he worked with us explaining everything, made sure water drained properly and it does not puddle. I have recommended him to other people and have called him back for more work to be done already at our home.

Fredrico answered the phone immediately, scheduled a time to come take a look same day (7pm on a Friday!). His price seemed good and he came highly recommended but I wanted to get at least one more estimate, but it was like pulling teeth trying to get someone to come out. Finally got another company to come provide an estimate, after rescheduling twice, and they were almost $1k higher. Federico advised that his schedule was full for 5-6 weeks, but about 10 days after booking him, he called asking if he could take care of our job the next day as he had a cancellation on a job in Olive Branch. Which worked for me! The day of the job, Fredrico and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would, 7:15am, and went straight to work. The job site was kept very clean, we had some nice conversation while waiting for the concrete truck (Fredrico and his son both are super nice guys), and when he found out we have small kids he made sure to tell us when the time was right to have out their handprints in the sidewalk. In the end, They returned all of the grass that had been cut out to make room for the concrete forms. Overall, this was probably the best experience I’ve ever had with any home improvement company or tradesman. I will definitely use Fredrico Acuna concrete again.

They were prompt, courteous and answered all my questions. I was kept informed each day of the process including pictures of the work by text message when I was out of town. Work done was splendid and I received neighbor’s compliments immediately. I would recommend them without reservation.

Osvaldo is very patient, responsive, professional and helpful. The job was done nicely and it only took them half day. They have also cleaned up the area after the job is done. I would definitely hire him again!

Fred was very professional through the entire project and does great work. Fred showed up on time during the estimate and gave me a good price compared to his competitors. We accepted his price and contract and he showed up to do the work when he said he was going to be there. They cleaned up very well and we were very satisfied with finished project. I would recommend Fred and his guys again to anyone.

I have 40 years in construction and have never met anyone that takes pride in their work like F. Acuna Concrete. They went above and beyond. I was impressed that they added pilings for extra support. They are more than five stars and I would recommend them to my family and friends.
