Great job. Everything completed as promised. Rick is very professional and personable. His design gave us much more space for storage and clothing.
There was some good and bad. Getting them out to the house to design the closets was ok. However, there was a lot of miscommunication, phone tag and delay with the crew for the installation. The workers doing the installation were unorganized and they did not always have the plans for the design or the materials they needed. As a result of this they were constantly asking us to confirm the plans and had to leave multiple times to get the proper materials. Also some of the quality in the work was lacking and we had to have them come back to fix it.

Called Rick and he promptly got me on his schedule to visit my home for a consultation within a couple days. By
the end of his visit, he gave me layout drawings, color/material samples, and pricing. Understood my exact needs and got my system on order. I cannot express how well the process and communication went with Rick and his entire staff. They even came out the day after Thanksgiving to do the installation. Everything was flawless and so professional. Highly recommend Rick at Midwest Closets. Bonus: IF you need adjustments to system after installation, they come back any time to help at no charge!
I recently moved to the Columbus area to an almost 100 year old house with limited closet space. And what little storage space we did have, had minimal, inadequate hanging bars and shelving. After doing a search for closet systems, I called two well known, franchise companies and had them out for a free design and estimate. One company spent hours drawing a layout on graph paper and left me with an estimate. Another company took measurements and gave me a ballpark estimate and set me up for a future "presentation" at their showroom. The estimates seemed high to me and the designs were very similar, but driving down I-71 the next day, I noticed a sign for "Midwest Closets" and decided to call one more company.
Rick, the owner of Midwest Closets, came out the very next day and designed a system for each closet on his laptop within a very short time, with estimates at least 30% less than the other two companies. He told me what he thought would be the most economical solutions for what I needed and I liked what he had to say. Though one of the franchised companies said I would have to do all the tear out and repair myself, and the other company suggested I buy "backing" at an additional cost to cover up the possible damaged walls, Rick said that all the tear out and patching would be included in his price. And since we had very old plaster walls, we certainly didn't want to attempt that ourselves.
We decided to go with Midwest Closets and couldn't have been more pleased. Rick's crew came out one day to tear out the existing materials and patch all the holes. We did a little sanding and touch up painting ourselves, took all our clothes out of the closets the next day, and they came back to install the following day. Even though the old plaster walls of one of the closets started crumbling during the tear out, they had a solution.
After about a week of living with the new closets, our daughter decided she needed a few more shelves for all her shoes. When I called up Midwest to ask about purchasing a few more shelves, they came out the next day with additional shelves at no extra charge.
I highly recommend Midwest Closets!

Midwest came out to give an estimate immediately. We had our quote that day. As we were expanding the current closet, they returned to do a final measure. The owner, Rick, even had one of his installers to come look at it, since there are some walls that jut out due to a chimney. The installer arrived one day, marked the walls for the beams, and installed the beams. He returned early the next day, in order to be finished by the time the carpet installers arrived. He was very professional and willing to please. The closet is wonderful. We have so much more storage. The quality of the materials is very good. There was a minor problem - our stone wall, along the driveway, was accidently hit by the van, and the owner came out the next day and repaired it without a problem. They were a wonderful company to work with. We love our new closet!

Then entire process went very smoothly from start to finish. They came out and did the free design and job estimate on the same day that I called. Once I signed off on the estimate they set up a time to remove the existing closet hardware and also to install the new closet. All work was performed exactly as promised. The actual installation of the closet went very smoothly and quickly. They cleaned up the work area beautifully and hauled away all the old wire closet pieces. Everyone I dealt with at the company was friendly and very professional.

Everything went to so well. The guys moved from one project to another without any problems or concerns. My master bedroom closet is now able to handle more hanging clothes. My son has a new closet system in his bedroom. And we have a functional storage unit in our basement/family room to handle games, craft supplies, and toys.

Rick came to my house to give me a quote for a closet system. He delivered a drawing and price the next day to my home. I changed some of the plan and delivered a drawing to the showroom. I also had a chance to look at the product. Rick came back to my home to look at the closet again and remeasure with my new requests. We also talked about more options this time including tie & belt racks, different colors of materials, brushed hardware, different sizes of drawers, a toe kick and more decorative drawer covers. During this visit I got the system perfected. Rick redrew the plan and delivered it the next day to my home with the price. Rick was also willing to tear out my existing hardware as part of the price. Also, they did not charge tax. Rick and his crew were great to work with. The closet is beautiful! I had just had the room and closet professionally painted. John, the installer, did a great job. I found one small nick in the paint. Amazing! They are really professional!

I thought they were ok. The cabinets were pretty shallow so I feel like I almost have less space now.

They installed the closets listed. The owner promised great after the sale service, and so far we have had no unresolved issues. They installed the wrong shelving in two closets, but they came right back and fixed it.

This is the second time we have had Midwest Closets design new closet interiors for us (Two years ago they designed and installed two bedroom closets and cabinets for our laundry room.). We had different designers and installers both times, but the experiences were equally happy. The designers and installers were on time for all appointments, and this last installation took just one hour. Very nice people who don't mind answering lots of questions. Excellent workmanship! Our closets are so beautiful you almost hate to close the doors. We still have one more closet and a garage to organize and we will definitely hire this company for the work.

MADE MANY USEFUL SUGGESTIONS. ARRIVED ON TIME AND COMPLETED WORK EXACTLY AS PLANNED. MY GARAGE LOOKS COMPLETELY UNCLUTTERED, WITH PLENTY OF ROOM TO OPEN THE CAR DOORS WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT HITTING SOMETHING STORED ON THE FLOOR.
