I washed clothes that night the clothes still were not wringing out as it had in the past it was still very damp & when I put the clothes in the dryer it did not dry my clothes at all prior to him touching my dryer it was working fine I was just getting a backup of lint in the laundry room after the repair not only was my washer still not wringing out the clothes as before now my dryer isn't working either I am needing someone to fix this I do not want him to ever come out to my house he was very very rude & condescending on the phone when I called him to advise the washer & dryer wasn't working & bordering on verbal abuse

"I Talked to Mrs [Consumer Name Removed] about her washer ,she explained that it was going out of balance and not ringing the clothes good ,then she mentioned the dryer vent was broken and lint was building up behind the washer and dryer, she agreed for me too come to the house, I arrived at agreed time and no one was home,I called customer and she said she could not be there,she didn't even call to reschedule, so I just overlooked the mistake and we moved on with another date,I arrived at agreed date and her niece greeted me nut just arrived earlier her self and new nothing about the problems with Appliances,Mrs Stevenson was shopping, I inspected the washer and added clothes and put it through its paces, I could not reproduce the problem, Mrs Stevenson also said the problem only happened with her daughter doing the wash ,so then I proceeded to the Dryer and found the vent pipe was disconnected, I cut the bad section of pipe and reinstalled to wall outlet,I tested the dryer and it heated and was running good,I informed her niece im finished and the bill was 91.00 for the washer diagnostic and no other charges on washer the dryer was 40 .00 for second unit diagnostic and then changed 65.00 for labor which is my minimum charge ,for labor. Her niece called Mrs Stevenson and I had to wait another 25 minutes at least for Mrs [Consumer Name Removed]to arrive home to pay me ,and I discuss with Mrs [Consumer Name Removed]what I did with washer and dryer, there was no mention about cleaning her complete vent out ,and also I discussed that her daughter needs too load the washer more carful, she paid me 200 ,and the bill was 196.00, I said I don't have 4.00 and she said thats ok,and I left,4 days later Mrs [Consumer Name Removed]calls me and said that her dryer isn't working and I explain that her vent needs cleaned out and I don't doo vent cleaning, she got mad and said thats what she hired me for ,and I explain that is not what we discussed, plus she stood me for the first trip the wasn't at the second trip to oversee that her concerns were met,also she made me wait to get paid ,I feel I accomplished what I was asked too fix,and I feel the charges were fair for the work I accomplished, I also choose too not work for Mrs Stevenson any further,"

Don't use. Hired to repair a leaking dishwasher. Charged me $90 just to tell me to switch detergents and increase the temp on my water heater. The dishwasher still leaks, and it hasn't been used in weeks. My floor is now damaged and needs repaired. It would have been cheaper just to buy a new dishwasher

Mike responded quickly, assessed my washing machine and discussed the pros and cons of repair vs, replacement. Without pressure, I decided to repair the machine. MIke ordered the parts and returned in a few days to make the repair. The machine is working perfectly and Mike did great work. I highly recommend his services.

This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a service. DO NOT DO IT. SAVE YOURSELF. He was insanely rude from the jump, he would NOT let me finish a single sentence before cutting in to talk over me, either to tell me I’m wrong or just completely change the subject of what I was saying. He refused to accept that there was an issue with my dryer just because it wasn’t overflowing with lint. I had to call my fiancé home from work to be there with me to deal with this guy. Honestly he kept taking over my fiancé too so it wasn’t just a me being a woman thing at least. My fiancé finally had to ask him if he was going to actually open up the dryer and look at it and Mike agreed. Just to then immediately say “somethings not right here” over and over. Wow. Who would’ve thought something weird was happening. The issue I called him out for he still insists is me overreacting because we just replaced something else on the dryer causing a burning smell. Rude to tell your customer they’re overreacting but whatever, I supposed. I am overly cautious about smelling a burning smell from my dryer, but I’m not gonna accept that I’m in the wrong for it. He made it seem like I was in hysteria over it, when I was just trying to explain the situation. Which he wouldn’t ever let me get out without interruption. We were having an issue, I called an “expert” out for said issue, what’s the problem? He could’ve had an easy day and quick money off of someone who was just unsure of what they were dealing with and wanted to make sure they got someone who did know. Instead I had to have an argument with a 68 year old man about how not to talk to people. $206 for a simple part replacement that could’ve taken two minutes for any normal human being who knew what they were looking at. Unprofessionalism aside, insane pricing. But hey, I learned many things today. Mostly how to save $206 and to never ever use Mike’s appliance services again. Anyway, avoid this guy at all costs. God forbid you want to do laundry worry free. Ol Mikey boy will be there to make you feel stupid for being concerned and wanting to be safe. Adding to this for Angi’s site specifically too: Angi should be ashamed for endorsing this business. I regret using this site to find someone. Never again.

"I went to customers house, and discussed problem with dryer, customer stated a burning smell, i inspected dryer and it was white glove clean, and then i asked customer when she noticed the smell ,i asked her if in the room and she said no it was apparently when she smelled inside the drum,and my reply was thats normal smells due to different materials giving off different smells due to the heat process, man made garments with give off a acidity smell where cotton will give off a more natural odor, she said I was being a a** whole ,and got mad because I didn't giver her the answer she wanted,it was down hill from there,I told her she was being over sensitive to the dryer due to it initially having a problem with the heater ,and she was being over concerned, the husband bought a kit on line and it came with other components, which the husband installed incorrectly, which could be a problem down the road,he wasn't truthful with me when I asked what parts he installed, so I took the initiative and sold the customers a thermostat kit to make it write, and they thought I was waisting there money, I tried to explain but husband as being arrogant, but I felt it was the write thing too do to put the dryer in factory condition, the wife even said she took me wrong and never said sorry, I could go on like she did playing with my name, I did the best I could under the circumstances I was facing, im sorry they aren't happy, but the dryer is in factory condition when I left,"

If I could give Mike 0 stars, I would. My mother had him come to fix her washing machine. He told her it would be $500 and thankfully I was there and told her she needed to think about getting a new one instead of having that repaired. I told him that she needed time to think about the options and he said she needs to decide right now. He then told her that he hated it when family gets involved and he doesn’t stand a chance when that happens. He charged her for coming out, which is fine. When he was leaving, he stormed past me and I said bye and he said nothing. He was very angry that I stepped in and told my mom to take some time to research her options. I believe he takes advantage of older people and I would never recommend him!

"Mrs [Member Name Removed] hired me to look at her Whirlpool washer. It had a bad bearing shaft assembly. Washer was in immaculate condition. I have done this repair many times. I felt the washer was in good shape for this repair. Customer had relatives over. The customer and I got along well. Very sweet lady. I never talked to the family members. I did mention to the customer that in situations like this, I do not have good luck in doing a sale. Discussed with customer what's wrong. The only thing I'm guilty of is a pressure sale. With the washer being in good shape, it was worthy of the repair. I packed up my tools and the customer walked me to the door and I left. The relatives did not walk me out to say goodbye. I don't know why they were mad at me. The customer's washer was a premium washer and well worth the money for repair, I felt."

"The customers true name is [Member Name Removed] I scheduled a service call with customer with her agreement, arrived with such time. Customer did not answer her door. I heard customer inside house. Then I received a call from customer saying we did not agree on such time. I told her I'm sure we agreed on such time. She asked me what my service call is - I told her the price and asked if we could make another time and attempted to work with customer. Said "No, I'll think about it" and then hung up. Started the rest of my day and received a call from such customer - She said she would be available in an hour to come out and I mentioned this wouldn't work due to my obligations to other customers. Referred her to call someone else. She was playing games with me. Obviously, customer was confident in my services from prior work done."

Mike was great diagnosing the problem, and communication while get the part and working with my schedule. He fixed the issue and even replaced the light bulb in freezer at no extra cost. Would use him again for when I have an issue with my appliances.
