Mike's Plumbing & Backhoe

Had to turn the job over to another plumber. Seemed vey upfront and honest.

Mike got tied up at another appointment, and called promptly to notify me that he would be late. I chose to reschedule the appointment for another day. He called to confirm and showed up on time, and his work was completed efficiently and with great care. Mike is a professional, and I would gladly recommend him

Mike was prompt, did the repairs well, good attitude, easy to deal with.

Mike did not finish my job. He constantly rescheduled and was always rushed.

My only complaint was that he was not on time. This is a real pet peeve of mine with people I work with. Other than that, he was friendly and did a good job. He made sure everything was done correctly and even had to fix a problem that the city had with their sewer.

The company i called to evaluate the problem i was having with sewer back-up quoted $2800.00 to replace 42 feet of sewer line from my house to the city line. When Mike contacted me he quoted $600.00 to do the job. Mike was very courteous and professional, I will contact Mike for any future plumbing needs.

Mike stayed to his quoted price showed up on the day he said and completed the job

We sent Mike an e-mail at 2:30 A.M. when our water heater broke. He called us at 7:00 A.M. and came right over to give us an estimate. This was on a Saturday. During a holiday weekend. We were very impressed with Mike's willingness to help us and he didn't even charge extra for the emergency weekend installation. Really nice guy, great service, great value. Thank you again Mike!

He did not even start the job for several weeks, after initially promising complettion within a week. Had to repeatedly call him about it,. He tried to get me to pay more money than the contract price, price quoted changed about 3 times before contract signed. Most of all, job started almost 2 months ago, and still not finished. Have not even heard from him in about 2 months, phone number not in service. Don't know how others arrived at ratings, but I would never recommend. He has evidently decided to use my lawn as a permanent parking lot for his backhoe and trailer.

Mike Clabough was great to work with. He was very quick to respond to my initial request with ServiceMagic, was at my house that day, and gave me an estimate for the work. When he came to install the gas line, he worked efficiently and professionally. He even took the time to hook up and test my new gas stove. I plan on hiring him again for additional work, and have suggested him to my neighbors.

Mike called said he would be at my home in 5 minutes, he was there in 5 minutes. He gave me a quote, I decided to have him install my water heater. He said he would be back to install the next day at 4:30. He was at my home at 4:30, he picked up the water heater, installed the new water heater, and took away the old one for me. Excellent customer service and someone that I would use again and would recommend. He is local to Knoxville.

Excellent service, both timing and quality. Significantly less cost than the first hired contractor who botched the job and broke 5 irrigation lines without repairing them.
