He had to break away to get a part, but he came back as soon as he could and stayed with it until the job was finished. (In the words of Moe Howard : "well, we hadda forget something or we wouldn't be plumbers."
Rod showed up right on time. He was very personable, professional and faced the challenge head on. The new water softener was slightly larger than the one to be replaced. Rod needed additional parts to complete the job. He made it seem like it was an insignificant deal to have to go to a store to get the additional parts to complete the job. He completed the work, including the unexpected trip to a store, in approximately 3 1/2 hours. He cleaned up after himself and took the time to explain the new water softener to us.

His price was reasonable. The quality appears to be alright. I have had no problems with it since he came out. He came out right away. He was pretty good. The worker who came out was alright. He was nice, cordial and asked a few questions for me. He was okay and showed up on time for me. It took about a half hour to an hour to do the service.

No problems. Provider came day before to empty old water heater. Showed up a little late (but did call ahead to let me know). Replaced water heater with new one. No problems.
On 1/8/15 Rod came out to fix my sump pump, it kept running and 2 other jobs which he did fix the 2 jobs. He installed new float switch on battery backup pump. Labor was $127.50 on 4/2 he came out again because the sump pump was still running + would not stop. He said he re-piped the sump pump + battery backup pump. He said it was incorrectly installed. Why didn’t he see this the first time he was out? Labor +material was $160. Shortly after he left, the sump pump motor started running again. I called again, he came out turned it off and said if it keeps running I would need a new sump. I would think after the first visit he would know I needed a new sump pump. I want refund of $287.50. I really think he really doesn’t know much about sump pumps. The only person I talked with was Rod who did the work. No one will now return my calls.
Response from Millennium Plumbing
"This statement is not accurate. We have never ignored your calls. Each time we came out we preformed service work to the sump and each time there was a different problem . We did not originally install the sump and suggested replacement but customer said it wasn't that old so she wanted it repaired. If you ever have any issues you can contact me anytime with issues and we will rectify them ."

Millennium was very professional and fairly priced. This is our 3rd clog in our sink, and our 3rd provider to fix it. If it happens again, we'll definitely call Millennium again. Was able to schedule very quickly, and service was done in less than an hour! Didn't try to up-sell me, or add on additional charges, which happened with both the other services. Was informed that Millennium also provides additional contractor services for which I will definitely look into in the future.
The service provider was polite, no question here
Judging by work and effort, the representative was not effective nor efficient. This resulted in me paying for his lack of decisive decision making a s a professional plumber.
The rest of the Work took way too long to complete judging by how efficient he was at the biggest job - water softer installation 1 hr 30 mins)
Did not expect a couple of leaking faucets and toilet should not take 12 hours and cost nearly $900 !
This does not seem right, specifically, knowledge of resolving plumbing problem (fixing a delta shower leak)

Total time
Jan 26 - 2 hrs diagnosis only no plumbing repairs completed. ( prepaid via Angie's listing $120)
I called office and informed that no repair work was actually completed, and this was not acceptable. I negotiated to get my hour back to get one item done at the next visit
Jan 28 - All day ( had to take a day off work, called office after 12 noon and informed them that i cannot afford the amount of hours it is taking to get the job done, the manager said he will work with me on price). By 6 pm that evening the work was still not complete. After multiple trips to get parts that did not fit nor fix the problem.
Jan 31- 4 hrs ( finally delta shower was replaced but the final job was left dangerous for user and not at all professional finished, i ended up having to remove the partially sawed soap holder and using silicon seal to complete the new shower faucet ensured the inner dry wall was protected from moisture leakage and possible mold growth) my shower finish for the $900 dollars spent looks jerry rigged, my bathroom home visual value is at a pathetic low for the sum spent....very disappointing!!!!!!,
I called the office after job was done and bill drawn with a whooping $823 dollar cost i was not prepared for such a sum on top of purchasing the water softener from Lowe's for $ 400.
Upong my negotiation total cost dropped to $758 and i asked to pay in 2 installments. I made out a check for $400 and requested a later payment of $358

Recap:
Total prepaid via Angie's list -$120
Total labor cost- $ 520
Total material cost charged by Millennium Plumbing- $238
Total material cost by self ( water softener Lowe's)- $ 400

Total cost for entire venture: $1278
Payment direct to Millennium Plumbing: $ 878

I'm yet to complete the $358 payment though I'm wondering what are my client protection options, legally for the total work completed vs total cost accrued of $1278 . I need help, intervention because i believe I'm paying for a company's poorly performing employees when the concept of this forum is natural competitive market!! The essence of Angie's list rating hence accountability of service providers.

My advice to ALL! Watch out for this company, it could be purely a single employee concern

031115:
Returned a Call from Millennium plumbing in response to my review. Had a discussion about the review and what transpired leading to such extensive time to complete the shower leak repair. It is a recco from the company to replace parts than repair them, it reduces the time it takes for the job to be complete may save you some money!
It went really well. They came out right away. It ended up being more than the big deal but it was a reasonable price. I didn't think it was a problem at all.

He was very courteous. He was late but he explained that there was a pipe break. He called before he came. I had asked him to let me know when he was done fixing the washer because I wanted to vacuum. When he was done I came in with the vacuum and he told me to give it to him. He vacuumed behind the washer and then washed there as well. He was very professional and I appreciated the extra help he gave.

The service appointment went well enough. Apparently there was personnel changes at the company and the company did not contact me initially for over two weeks, which was troubling.
The service call tech tightened a toilet and informed me an original metal casting pipe in my basement needs replaced and gave me a good quote for it. I paid like $80 for the service call.
My issue is them getting back to me. The service call was over a week ago and they have not followed up the quote they were suppose to give me for the metal casting pipe. I think the company is going through a transition.
Response from Millennium Plumbing
"[Member name removed], as pointed out we did have a change of employee who was running the plumbing division, angie's list was notified to change all contact info over to me the owner so there would not be an issue with customers not getting a response back unfortunately they dropped the ball. When we realized the info was not changed i contacted all the customers and tried to make amends. As you can see by the reviews we have always been on time and responsive. My tech gave you a verbal quote to repair the drain on the toilet while he was there and we have not heard back from you. We still would love to do the job.."

Bought the plumbing big deal. Picked the preferred dates on the Angie's list website. No word from this guy. Tried calling his number - Got his voicemail but mailbox was full.
Contacted Angie's list - told them his service was running slower than my toilet.
Waited 3 more business days - tried phone again - voicemail mailbox full. Asking for money back.
Response from Millennium Plumbing
"[removed member name], sorry for dexter not getting back with you . He was gone for 2 weeks and Angie's list was suppose to switch contact info to me and they did not . I had to edit info so if you need anything let me know my contact info is accurate now."

The man was very professional and fixed the dripping faucet in no time. He gave us a new faucet ($15.00) , was here only 40 minutes and the total bill including labor was only $54.88. I will definitely call him again.
I was kept informed of every task and what it entails. Very professional. What I liked most is that he let me pick up the faucets and toilets, which saved me a lot of money.
