Mindy came highly recommended by a coworker and we are so glad that we found her! As first time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and weren't very familiar with certain parts of the process. Mindy was so helpful and reassuring throughout the whole process. She got us in to view multiple homes within a day of us contacting her, even in the midst of the pandemic, and spent a whole afternoon doing showings with us. She was very patient and accommodating as well when we changed our minds about homes we wanted to see. She responded promptly to all of our communications, even after normal business hours, which ended up being crucial to us getting our contract. She stayed in contact with every party involved in the process (lender, inspector, title company, and home warranty company) and took care of all of the details so that we didn't have to worry about anything. She also provided great advice and insights based on her own experience to make sure that we got the best services possible. On top of all of that, Mindy is amazingly generous and kind. She treated us like friends from the very beginning and truly went the extra mile to make us feel that we were valued. She has even checked in with us a few times after we closed to make sure everything is going well. Overall, Mindy's expertise and manner put us at ease throughout what can be a very stressful process. I will be recommending Mindy to anyone I know who is looking to buy in the Greater Richmond area from now on!

Mindy was absolutely wonderful. I reached out to her when we started to look for our first home. She made the entire process so easy. I am someone who is slow to trust, especially with this much money on the line, but after this experience i would be comfortable recommending Mindy to anyone looking to buy a home. It's hard to sum up Mindy in a few sentences. Mindy was recommended to us through a good friend, and we highly recommend her to bring you through this process as well. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and absolutely dedicated to getting her clients what they want. We had an extremely tight timeline, but she was able to walk us through the process and at no point did this seem overwhelming (and we bought and moved during the peak of the pandemic!). She listened and worked hard to find us our home, often working late into the evening to accommodate our busy schedules. She was exactly what we needed; she was able to inform and work with us in our negotiations. She was a huge advocate for us, and seemed to personally take on our wants and desires. We believe she reduced a seemingly ungainly process into something that seemed step-by-step and manageable. We do keep in touch, and it’s great to feel like we made a friend throughout this process. Mindy is unequivocally the best, and if we needed to go through this process again, we would without a doubt choose her.

Mindy Harden is knowledgeable, dynamic, detail-oriented, and utterly charming. She helped us find the new house of our dreams, and she sold our old house in less than a week. Our very specific criteria for the new house made the search long and arduous, but no matter how many houses we rejected, Mindy was always willing to show us more, and was invaluable in helping us analyze each one. When it came time to put our old house on the market, she advised us on how to prepare it, staged it with her own accessories, arranged for stunning photography, and brought us two offers on the first day. Her seemingly endless knowledge about real estate guided us to trouble-free closings both times. But the best part about working with Mindy is her buoyant personality and infectious good humor. She is a delight to work with.

I don't know what we'd do without Mindy's guidance and expertise! First in 2009 and again in 2019 - she helped us find and purchase our first family home, and then helped us get it back on the market and sold. Both times she was exceedingly helpful, delivering color images of homes we might be interested in - or could use to determine the local market's desires. Additionally, she was extremely personable, easily available via email, phone, or text. She helped us book local services by having handy recommendations and resources; she made sure we were taken care of every step of the way, even personally running by the house to check on service progress. We will be judging every future realtor against Mindy's example, and while we hope that they'll pass the bar she set, they'll have big shoes to fill!

We highly recommend Mindy! We have bought and sold many homes and understand how important it is to have the right realtor. Based on reviews on Angie’s list and a phone interview that distinctly set her apart from other realtors, we knew we had finally found the right real estate agent. As out of town buyers, Mindy helped us get to know our new town and find the perfect location for our new home. We were extremely pleased with her expertise and attention to details through the purchase process. We especially appreciated her promptness in dealing with any details that came up during escrow. It is very unusual to find any professional who demonstrates kindness, skill, and honesty, but Mindy abounds in all three! I so appreciated her extensive background in not only real estate but also accounting. She went over the numbers for both our sale and purchase with a fine tooth comb, and was just as thorough in other aspects of her work. She lightly staged our home with such taste--I wish we had used her when we first decorated our house! All of the contractors and outside agencies she recommended were also very professional and easy to work with. I can't say enough about this amazing woman!

Mindy was referred to us by my wife's co-worker who had previously used Mindy to buy and sell a house. I had been through the home buying process before but my wife hadn't so it was important for us to go with someone that had been referred to us. We had corresponded via text and e-mail until the day that we actually went to look at homes and as soon as we met Mindy in person, we knew we were in for a treat! The organization and effort she put into our home search was second to none. She went above and beyond and was so patient with us during the entire process. When it came down to making an offer, she always had our back. I found Mindy for my son on Angie's list. All of her reviews were stellar, so I thought why not and I called her. She talked with my very nervous son about buying his first house and she was fantastic with him, encouraged him along the way and guided him with the care equal to if he were her own son. Not to many real estate agents will take you to see a property right after a snow storm, but Mindy did, we trudged around in 10 inches of snow looking at a house that the had been on the market 11 days. My son put a contract on the house and she guided him through every step and protected him along the way. Zachary did take a class about becoming a home owner and had his conventional loan lined up prior to the purchase, but Mindy really gave him the confidence that he could do it. I highly recommend her to anyone. Further if I ever decide I need a new house I will be calling Mindy! Cost of service was broker fee that is why I wrote $0.00

Mindy put so much effort to find the right home for us. She understood what we were looking for when we weren’t even sure what we wanted as our knowledge was very limited, she helped us learn the process as well. After using Mindy to sell our house, we were very comfortable using her to help us buy as well. It was actually a long process as we took our time to find the right home for our growing family. Mindy was always responsive and never became impatient with our process. She really understood that this was a big deal since this would be the home our young boys would grow up in. And she was great with the kids! They came with us to many showings, and Mindy was always happy to see them and even helped distract them from time to time so we could get a good look at a house. In the end, it was Mindy's network of colleagues that helped us find the perfect home! Her experience and long tenure in this market were invaluable. Mindy was phenomenal! She began by walking through our house with us to give us her perspective on how potential buyers would see our house. We were already planning to declutter, but she had great recommendations on what to keep/remove, how to stage, contractors we might need, etc. Her marketing was everywhere and robust ... and she hosted a really well-attended open house the first weekend. The house sold in under two weeks, and Mindy was adept at helping us think about negotiating, sale details, pricing, etc. (her background as a former CPA gave us a lot of confidence when it came to the nitty-gritty details). Really professional and pleasant all the way round ... we recommend Mindy without reservation!

I don't even know where to begin. Mindy is nothing short of amazing. She was the agent selling our home while we made an out of state move during a family crisis. She was worth her weight in gold during this very stressful time for us. She is passionate about her job and her clients. She is always respectful, patient, and responsive. She genuinely cared for us as customers and people. While I know we were not her only clients, she sure made us feel like we had her full attention. Her advice for how to prepare our home for sale was very helpful. Mindy is a great communicator, pays attention to every detail, and explained everything as we moved through the process. There is no one else I'd even consider using as an agent if we ever moved back to the Richmond area. I feel Mindy is a seasoned pro who genuinely cares about her clients. My only problem in working with Mindy is that we could not clone her in the search for our new home out of state. And yes, she did sell our house, most importantly!

It’s difficult to put into words what a consummate professional and all around good person Mindy Harden is. I have bought and sold several houses over the years, and my experience with Mindy has absolutely by far been the best. Buying or selling a home is a process involving several important steps, and Mindy was there for each one of them, actively lobbying for us at every stage. Mindy always took the initiative to make sure the financing was on track, consulted honestly and transparently with us on the pros and cons of buying a particular property, gave us invaluable guidance in negotiating purchase price, and suggested a first rate inspector with experience in dealing with historic buildings. Mindy is incredibly organized and responsive, and always went the extra mile. In several cases, Mindy took the initiative to the follow-up on matters that were the responsibility of the other realtor. Mindy is a true advocate, whether she is serving as a buyer’s or seller's agent and has our very highest recommendation without hesitation or reservation. We only hope that Mindy doesn’t retire before we sell our current home and buy our next home!

Working against time and all the extra red tape that a foreclosure entails ( the home I bought) didn't stop Mindy. I call her my "angel agent". Timing is everything in selling and then buying a home, or you will find yourself living off friends or relatives. She was relentless in accomplishing my goals. Mindy handled problems as they came up so I could continue with my life. She was available to me even while she was on family vacation. Mindy Harden is the only agent I would ever use.

When I came on here to look for a realtor the reviews that Mindy had won me over. Like they all say, after I sent her the first email, Mindy called me in less than 10 minutes! From that moment on, it was the most professional and responsive service I've ever had. My fiance and I had a problem with our apartment and needed to move soon. We had thousands of questions and no idea what we were doing, but Mindy accommodated everything. She always remembered and stuck with what we discussed we wanted - no matter how specific and unobtainable it seemed! Mindy never tried to sway our opinion and took the utmost care in how she presented situations to us so that we could make up our own minds. When we finally found the home that miraculously fit all of our criteria, Mindy worked us through every step in a way that we could understand, allowing us to ask as many questions as we needed to feel completely comfortable with our decisions. While Mindy is one of the most courteous and cheerful people to work with, when the time came for tough negotiations she is exactly who you want on your side. Mindy was such a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone!

Terrific is an understatement. Mindy went above and beyond for our family. She eagerly entertained our toddler for my husband and I to walk through showings. Mindy took my husband out to see homes during the week and we went to view the winners a second time together on the weekend. She was incredibly responsive to any question (nothing was too small) and helped us get comfortable as first time home buyers with the market and what to expect through the process. She advocated for us with the buyers and helped us to close on our first home with ease. She even came over to our house when we decided to put in our offer and stayed until it was completed (roughly 11 pm!!!). I was drawn to Mindy for her knowledge and expertise but quickly started thinking of her as second family and would eagerly refer her to anyone looking for a realtor. She never made us feel pressured and probably showed us 30+ homes before we landed on "the one."  Highly recommend!

I was in the market for a home here in Richmond, but at the time I was living over 400 miles away and had a rather busy schedule.  I had a discouraging experience with another realtor, so I got on Angieslist, found Mindy, and emailed her on a Friday night, not expecting to hear back until after the weekend.  She called me about a half hour after I emailed, buoyed my spirits, got an idea of my goals and expectations, and explained how she could help.  She kept me supplied with a great selection of houses, tailoring the list based on my impressions.  When I finally got a chance to visit Richmond, Mindy had carefully planned out routes for us to see all the houses I'd expressed interest in.  On the second day of looking we found my home, made an offer, and from that point until closing Mindy kept the ball rolling, interfacing with the various inspectors and agents and lawyers and bankers to keep things on track.  She did a bewildering amount of work on my behalf, and she was always helpful and cheerful.  Mindy is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of her profession, and she was a great resource for all my questions.  I honestly can't imagine how I could have had a better experience, and I'm absolutely asking for Mindy's help when I move again.
