I hired this company on a Groupon and I certainly got what I paid for: I was told the movers would be at my home between 9:00-10:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. No phone call by noon so I called the owner to ask where they were. It was explained they were behind and would be finishing up another job and headed to me soon. My appointment was 9:00 a.m. Seriously? This was a Sunday morning. I'm sure they just forgot my appointment. After two more calls to them, they showed up at 3:00. Had I known that, I would have made other plans in the morning!! Now for the best part..As the moving crew dragged a 200 year old armoire from my storage shed, 8" of the bottom panel broke off. (It's solid oak btw!!) After loading my items on the truck, they ask if they can stop to have lunch at their favorite eatery close to my home. Fortunately the eatery was closed so we moved on to the storage unit. There they dragged the armoire again to break off the last remaining support on the same side of the armoire. Granted the owner did try to call my cell as I was away from my phone in shock of the result. The men quickly left and When I did call the owner, he was upset with me that I didn't call immediately and have him come out to see the crew and assess the damage. He assured me however that he would meet me in the near future to have the piece repaired. That was a month ago. I have emailed the company, text and left voice mails with no success. This was my first moving experience using professionals (and I use that term lightly) to do the job. NEVER would I recommend this company to anyone!!!!!

Make sure to leave a review on the other profile Minimovers 757 as well. This company has two Angie's list profiles. And Also, go to Apex Direct Movers, it is the same guy. I will upload the quote he sent me. They were never on time. They are very dishonest. Claiming to be BBB accredited, but they are not. They damage your items and walls. They will quote you one price and charge you way more. I was quoted $400 for 5 hours to be split between 2 days and charged $740. They worked 2 hours and charged $420, then charged $320 for an additional 2 hours and more people I didnt even ask for, also claiming that was discounted by $400 because we were military. So if I was not given the 5 hours on the initial day, why would you charge me the full amount, when you only worked two, then turn around and charge me additional the next day. Then also bring 3 additional staff members, saying I have to pay them too. I never asked you to bring them. I paid for 5 hours and 2 people. Not 5 people traveling from your last job to my house. I asked for 2 people and 5 hours to be split between 2 days. Me getting charged because you had 5 people on your last job, you didnt feel like dropping off or whatever, not my problem. And one of them didnt even help loas the truck, he only helped unload. During the loading, he sat in the van with you. They were 1 hour late the first day and they were 2 hours late the second day. Imagine if you have to be out of a place by a specific time. You cannot rely on them to be on time. You book them for 3 they will arrive at 4, 5 or not at all. Check the reviews. And they dont take responsibility for ANYTHING. The owner will say you didnt tell him, or he didnt know. He will claim the you're a liar or they didnt provide you service. But the guy is clearly claiming to be a bbb accredited business, while holding a D+ rating. He is a blatant liar. He seriously told me that he brought 4 people on the first day, when he only brought 2. We have it on video. He sent a blank estimate from a completely different company (apex direct), who does that? Why wouldnt you renegotiate the price before leaving? Or acknowledge the fact that you did not provide 5 hours of service, and reduce the price. You know that we agreed to 5 hours to be split between 2 days and that is why we only moved the large items on the first day, and left the boxes for the next day. We discussed exactly what we were doing in detail and we agreed to shorten the first day purposely to reserve the time for the second day. Both myself and my husband explained that to you, on the phone. And then again in person before you left. The OWNER changed it once HE brought the additional people, stating that "had we done what was agreed, it would have taken over 10hrs." So HE brought more people to complete it faster, resulting in the need for the increase in price because they needed to be compensated. And I have the owner saying this via text. However on his Google response, he says that "we DECIDED to move things the next day" and it caused the rate increase. "And 5 times 92 plus 400 or a flat rate of 720" but when you add 5×92+400 it doesnt come to a $400 discount, it comes to $860 ($140 discount, Reginald, but you charged us $740, so $120, ? You just dont stop do you) ... so are the prices $1260 or $1140? It is like they are making it up as they go along. That doesnt even add up to the groupon listed prices. How do you even know that your getting a fair price from these people? Essentially Everyone pays a different price for potentially the same service and are able to haggle their way down, others will be overcharged or hustled, your stuff may be stolen and sold, it like a swapmeet for moving. I had some really valuable stuff just laying around. I'm not used to that type of stuff. I cannot stress how much you need to avoid this company. If you would like to see the information I've gathered regarding them, our text conversations or have been burned by this company, please contact me. I would like to speak to you. Instead of creating new profiles and renaming your business. Just stop hustling people Reginald. How many of these do you have?

I thought it was going good until I noticed they left one room that they didn't move the furniture I was told it wasn't enough space in the storage. When I went and look in the storage because I had to get a actual one it was space in there my furniture look like it was in a war zone They had my glass which was in boxes labeled glass that through on top of stuff my furniture was Smosh when I got my furniture out of storage it was like it had been through a war zone and he refused to send anyone to look at it I paid for insurance he will not send me the insurance company name that he charged me for I will be taking him to court

"MiniMovers relocated Mrs.[Member Name Removed] apartment furnishings into storage for later Delivery to her new home. Upon Pickup from storage [Uncle Bobs] that Mrs [Member Name Removed] leased, we discovered damages to Furniture [pool table] and Boxes that Mr [Member Name Removed] stated he was responsible. We refused to remove items due to third party damages. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] hired another company to move the items and chose to threaten to sue MiniMovers for damages caused by her spouse. We cannot accept liability with third party damages."

I can't say enough good things about Jacob and Gregory, the gentlemen that actually handled our boxes and furniture. They were polite, intelligent, friendly and knowledgeable. They treated our goods as if they were their own. They worked quickly and we were done within the time frame specified by the offer. We purchased a package of 2 movers for 2 hours with a 16 foot truck. Reginald, the dispatcher/manager? did not keep our original appointment which was the most convenient for us. We were ready and expecting them at 4pm on a Sunday (the date originally given to us by him as the best for his crew so we arranged our schedule to meet them) and there was no phone call to confirm the appointment. They hadn't arrived at 4:20 so I called and Reginald answered saying he was on the bridge tunnel and asked where I lived. When reminded of our appointment he said he would call the movers and see if they could come to our house. He said due to rain in the area (not at my house, it was sunny and clear) he would have to reschedule for the following day at the same time. He did call me the next day to confirm our appointment but I had to take off work early to meet him. He was in an Enterprise Rental truck in my driveway when I got there so they were early. Jacob and Gregory got to work right away and were great! Again I can't say enough good things about them. My husband told Reginald to follow him to the storage unit less then 3 miles away from our home. Reginald decided to follow his GPS instead of my husband and spent 15 min trying to find the storage facility. Once there however, Jacob and Gregory loaded everything perfectly and made good use of the vertical space to fit everything in. Once the job was complete Reginald called to ask how was I paying and I informed him that I had already paid for a package through Angie's list and had to look up the coupon code and give it to him. I didn't mind doing so but it seemed unprofessional. They did finish the job in the time completed and I will probably use them again in the future.

The movers were 8 hours late& my price was increased with no regard to the fact that they were late plus it only took them an hour and 15 minutes to move everything. The guys were nice but, the owner was highly unprofessional. I did business with them almost 2 years ago and it went very well, this time was horrible.

"Ms. [Member Name Removed] request for a household move was a trash disposal to the dumpster at her apartment complex. The job required additional labor and a rate increase. The delay was due to the hardazous nature of her move. We move her prior with great results. We arrived prepared to move her apartment and she never informed us of the hazards."

Mr. Reginald Geth, called to confirm our move date and his estimated time of arrival. Both movers, Josh and Anthony were professional , efficient, and prepared. I appreciated the consideration Josh and Anthony conveyed during the walk through, asking we which items I wanted to store in my unit. My husband went along with them to the storage unit, and Mini movers 757 was very careful with my items during the loading, transport and delivery process. I will definitely request their services again. The moving cost was very reasonable. Marjorie Brinkley

The movers completed the move more than 1 day late. The men who did the work were wonderful and worked hard the entire time. Nothing was broken. The owner was unprofessional and unresponsive. He sent 3 men to do the move when 4 were promised. Required multiple calls from me before he returned my call after they were already 4 hours late. He kept saying they were on the way every 1-2 hours. Showed up 10 hours late on the first day after 9pm with 2 men who had already worked all day. They looked at what we needed to have moved and asked if they could come back the next day with more help. Painfully unprofessional.

The move went great. Two young men showed up on time and were very professional and polite. They used extreme care while loading and unloading the furniture, wrapping each piece. You could tell there were professional and had done such a move previously.

Started on time(9am), should have had larger truck. After getting first load the owner of company told me he had to leave and go do another job and come back to finish our move in a couple of hours. I was highly upset, if he had came with the right truck in the beginning he could have probably moved everything out on the first run(told me when came to quote the job he would have two trucks). He also had younger men that struggled a little with the heavier furniture. Not complaining about them they did the best they could. The movers did not get back until 7pm that night after leaving us around 12:45 that afternoon. The job was completed close to 10pm. A price was quoted before move date(owner came out to house to review everything) and they changed price when work was completed. But I'd ended up paying $53 more to keep further conflict and arguments.

It went very smooth! The movers didn't procrastinate or take brakes like the last moving company I hired. Which I feel like saved me money because they weren't purposely running the clock up. I was actually surprised that they moved and unloaded my fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment in two hours considering nothing was take apart or broken down! And nothing was broken or scratched!!!! I definitely will recommend them to anyone looking to move. Overall I was very satisfied and happy with their services.

IT went great and the guys were on time. Quoted two guys and three showed up. Only took 3 hours.. Quoted $199.00 for 2 hours on the offer. Did not charge more for the extra guy.. Thought it would take 5 hours. They were very efficient and professional.

On or about the 9th of September I contacted Mini Movers 757 to arrange
a meeting to discuss moving my home items to Asheboro North Carolina.
On September 11 Reginald Geth came to my house and looked over all
my belongings and we discussed in detail what would be moved to the
new house in Asheboro North Carolina and what would be left behind.
We also discussed what disposal I needed and he quoted me a price for
that as well. According to the contract we agreed upon the movers
were supposed to move me on the 29th of September as per my agreement
with my current landlord.
On the morning of the 29th of September I called Reginald and he told
me that the movers would be at my house between 12 and 1:00 PM. I
did not start to get nervous until about 2:00 PM when the movers were
still not there and called Reginald repeatedly trying to get in touch
with him about when the movers would arrive. I did not hear anything
from the movers until approximately about 8:00 PM when I was told
that a van was on the way. About 9:00 PM A van did show up at my
house. It was obvious that that vehicle was weighed too small to fit
my belongings and two and the driver was confused as to why the van
was sent in the first place. He called Reginald and I was told that
Reginald would call me momentarily. I did not hear from Reginald and
I called every five minutes repeatedly and left numerous messages to
which I never received an answer. Eventually the mailbox filled up
and I was unable to leave further messages.

On the morning of September 30 I called Reginald at 6:15 AM and was told
that the movers would be coming that day. When the movers came I
showed and Josh, Jamal, and Reginald everything that was going and
everything that was staying. Asked if it would be easier to go room
to room instead of doing things all over the house and was told that
they would make sure that they got everything done. Approximately 2
hours into the mood of Reginald pulled me aside and said that they
had miscalculated that distance to Asheboro and that he needed
another $300 for gas to get down and back to North Carolina. I told
him unequivocaly that I was not giving them on the other penny.
Because the mover showed up so late I had to leave them so that I
could travel to North Carolina in order to be there before dark and
get the house ready to recieve my items. When the movers arrived in
North Carolina I was told that they did not bring up big enough truck
and that the items were left behind at the house. Josh called
Reginald and was told that it would be an additional $200 for me to
get the rest of my items which I felt I had no choice but to pay. I
tried to tell ReginaldI would pay that when the items were received
and he told me I had to pay in advance in order to get my items.

Reginald told me that the rest of my items will be delivered before Saturday.
I was then told they were backed up and could not deliver my items
until Monday. When repeatedly calling him over the weekend to find
out when I would recieve my items my calls were constantly ignored
and was then told because of the flooding they were backlogged and
would not be able to bring me my items as soon as they thought. I
called repeatedly on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday went unanswered
and not returned. At 1137 Reggie messaged me saying that he would be
heading out Thursday to pick up the rest of my stuff.

On Thursday he Reggie messaged me at 9:00 AM saying that he was heading
to the house to pick up the rest of my items. 1:51 PM I'm messaged
him asking if he had an estimated time of arrival to my house in
North Carolina. I received no answer and no call. I called mini
movers at least 14 times and was ignored. At 8:30 PM I received a
message saying that the items were in the warehouse in Virginia Beach
and I would get them on the weekend I immediately called Reggie
several times and was ignored then message to him that I had plans
for the weekend and it was not acceptable for them to deliver on the
weekend. The message me back saying he's busy call him later. I
have numerous messages saying that I was going to call the law and 10
on your side and was told he I could file a false report if I wanted
to. Finally on the ninth Reggie showed up with the van partially
full and left numerous items back in Virginia and I'm going to have
to either hire another moving company or make a trip myself to pick
the rest of my items up.
Reggie has lied to me, has tried to charge me extra money, has tried to tell
my friend Tammy that I lied to him and was taking more items then I
said initially, and has repeatedly tried to avoid my calls and charge
me extra money. After he unloaded what items that he brought down in
the van I tried to ask for a refund. He then lied to me and told me
he was not the owner and that he had nothing to do with running the
business. I told him I wanted to speak to the owner and he gave me
two cell phone numbers one of which turned out to be Josh the driver,
and the other turned out to be Regis cell phone number. When I
called Josh he was shocked to hear that Reggie had named him as an
owner and assured me he owned none of the business. By this time I
was so frustrated that by the time I was off the phone with josh,
Reggie had left. The next morning I called the other number Reggie
gave me and Reggie himself answered. When I confronted him about
telling me he was not an owner of the company he told me he's not an
owner he's the co-owner. I finally told him I'd had enough of his
lies and I would be contacting a lawyer.

This whole experience has been extremely upsetting and stressful not to
mention that I am now have to make a trip to Virginia or pay to have
someone bring me the rest of my items. Not only that but items being
left behind has interfered with the cleaning and prep of the house
that I was renting for new owners and for work to be done. I have
avoided going online to review mini movers 757 because I wanted to
make sure that I am doing the right thing by contacting a lawyer and
not spreading word about this corrupt and inept business. This whole
affair has affected my appetite my sleep my moods and has been one of
the most stressful experience as I have ever had. I am flabbergasted
that this business is still able to do business in Virginia.

Horrible experience! They were 3 hours late. I had to call them several times to inquire their location. At first they blamed the weather saying they had to defrost the trucks and then in person said the truck I was suppose to have was coming from GA. They even mentioned that they over booked. When they arrived the truck was too small and barely fit my boxes. They sent additional personnel to make the move go faster. The young men were very nice , respectful, each introduced themself when entering the home and worked hard. The man in charge asked too many personal questions to me and to other individuals in the home. They did not cover the floor or their feet before entering the house leaving us to clean up a muddy carpet when they left. I did not allow them access to areas of the delivery home where carpet was on the floor. I feel bad for the young men working for this company because they seemed to just be following their boss. Unfortunately, this copy gets a thumbs down from me.
