The work was excellent, on time and george the owner was easy to work with, He was very good, responsiveness was good, he comes back to me very quick. He's a good honest business man.

I learned that construction is an art, not an exact science, and that you should anticipate issues along the way. Our project began in the fall with a new roof (hail damage) followed by a complete removal of old siding, only to find more old siding, and then discovered that there was insufficient insulation in some of the walls... All of which was addressed professionally and with clear articulation of the work needed; no surprises. The guys from Minnetonka Construction were responsive when we thought there was a roof leak, only to discover it was misinstalled plumbing from years ago. Although the project took longer than anticipated due to subzero conditions freezing equipment (not their fault for sure) the end result is wonderful. I'm not sure I would trust the veracity of someone who speaks ill of a contractor who didn't do work for them but asked to review prior work, WITHOUT HOMEOWNERS KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT! I think that speaks volumes of the character of Minnetonka Construction that they value their reputation and are willing to forego a project because they believe in the integrity of clients privacy.

When we were in the process of getting our home on the market to sell, we found that our roofing had hail damage and needed replacing. We contacted George Ramirez at Minnetonka Construction to get his professional opinion.   On his inspection, he agreed that we did indeed need to have the whole roof replaced, this was a surprise as we had remodeled our home 10 years prior and had put on an architectural 40 year upgraded shingle that appeared fine from the front yard.  George took photos for us and showed us the exact damage that had taken place in a previous hail storm. Our insurance company sent out their agent to inspect. We waited for the claim <br /> rep to get back to us with a covered amount and found that we could not put on a similar upgraded shingle with the money the insurance company was willing to give us.  That's when George Ramirez became our best advocate, he helped us get the coverage we were <br /> entitled to, and we were able to get a similar quality shingle installed. <br /> <br /> A real peace of mind for us, and our home sold shortly after the new roof was installed  Thank you Minnetonka Construction!!!
