Richard showed as promised, a little late because of traffic, and quickly got the job done. He was respectful throughout the process to me and my property and explained what he was doing. I thought the price was reasonable and would certainly hire him again for other plumbing work. I'm fairly busy and when I decide to hire someone I just need them to come in when they say they will, do the job, and not require me to follow up afterwards, etc. Richard did all this and now I have the plumber I'll be using in the future.

Well, Richard Mirabile (the sole member of Mirabile Plumbing) has $750 of my money ($250 for parts for which I am still awaiting a receipt) and $500 with the promise he'd be back, "Because I want you to write me a good review. Well, that's not happening because he cashed the checks and disappeared. For over two months I've been steadily texting and emailing him to ask that he finish as promised or return my money. (Although he refused to give me a card, I did have his phone number because he'd texted me to let me know he would take the job.) There has been no response. His answering machine "is full" and can't take messages. Once the phone was picked up and immediately disconnected. As for his workmanship, he was inefficient. He left repeatedly to "go down to my truck for tools." Then he had "to go downtown for parts." Twice he went downtown. The second time, he announced that he'd gotten the wrong part, but asked to be paid and promised he'd be back to install it. This was all over a month ago. I've spoken with two Angie's List supervisors about this and suggested he should be taken off the list. Where he should be is in Small Claims Court.

Richie was extremely responsive, transparent, thorough, and respectful. NYC plumbers are not cheap, so dont expect a deal per se, but he seemed like a straight shooter and would recommend him for kitchen plumbing needs.

Richard did a very good job. He was polite, efficient and neat. I certainly would hire him for another plumbing job.

all went well. he came the same afternoon i called and assessed the job. i had to leave for an apopintment so he offered to return the next morning, which he did. he quickly snaked both of my problem drains and fixed everything. highly recommended.

Excellent and Efficient $200 to install $100 for faucet $175 for labor and materials

The plumber had to go downtown for the specific parts that he needed and that took some time. He tried very hard to make sure he could get my old plumbing to work. He was very eager to please , the job total was just a tad more than I thought it would be.

The was done professionally and i was very satisfied, prior to his arrival he asked me to take a photo of the project so he could bring the right materials

This was the second time that I hired Richard. He was just as wonderful as the first. His professionalism, knowledge and skill of his work and 24-hour availability are outstanding. I would definitely recommend him and continue to use him as my go-to plumber.

The work was done fairly quickly and very well. First he had to diagnose the problem and find the source, which he showed me, then got some supplies from his truck and made the repairs, probably within an hour. So far as I can tell, he did an excellent job and cleaned up afterwards. We've had no problems whatsoever with leaks since. He did talk about some personal problems he was having while he worked.

Richard was very friendly and professional. He had the parts for the job and it was fixed like new again. Very happy customer.

Richard was amazing! He arrived 30 minutes after I called him and worked in the wet, frozen basement until the two busted pipes were fixed. So thankful for his hard work. It was expensive, but these things always are.

Heating pipe developed a leak in the ceiling of the basement of the house. An appointment was made and Richard arrived as stated. Since the repair required parts that need to be customized, an appointment was made for the next day at noon. The repair was completed but messy, a small area needed to be disassembled to create working room but was not replaced, and the defective pipe and spicket were not taken away. Richard took a smoke break inside our home without checking to see if smoking was permitted inside and had to be told that it wasn't. Finally I asked him to take a look at a toilet leak in the bathroom but declined the repair since I thought his quote was overpriced.

It went so well! He explained what he did as he was doing it. He was very professional, personable and was so skilled and helpful. He cleaned up very well, and tested the pipes before and afterwards to make sure it all went well. I now have my new go-to plumber for all occasions!

Richie came to my home right after his current job. It was a huge relief to have someone willing to come on short notice for a boiler leak. He cut and replaced pipes and valves. When I mentioned needing a toilet hose, he also stopped my toilet from leaking (flange, wax seal, cement). Later that night, the toilet had no pressure. Richie came back the next day and removed the toilet again. The pressure issue was separate from his work. He explained what I need to have done before he can come back to install toilet. Considering this was an emergency call on a Saturday afternoon, I knew this would be costly, but the price was still fair and the work was professional. Plus, he came back the next day at no charge, even though he proved that problem wasn't from what he fixed.

The plumber had to replace the flusher and a new bowl to match it. Cleaned up everything when he was done and placed it in the garbage. He called me if it was necessary, very attentive and caring for the 95 year old occupant.

It went very well. Everything is in working order.
