They could have done what we asked them to do and what we agreed on. They could have documented what they were going to charge. They could have hired qualified helpers as opposed to hiring guys down the street. They could have hired a qualified electrician to do certified work. They weren't achieving what I was asking them to do.

Miracle Paint repeatedly did not show up to do scheduled work at our
house and we were left waiting for hours to provide them paint for
exterior work. (7 times) They would say they were "on their way" or "will show up today", then not show up
at all. This complaint expresses only a small portion of the
massive inconvenience and waste of our time and money, of the sheer
craziness of working with a company that would lie daily about
when/whether they were going to work on our home. We knew they had other
jobs and we were flexible, but their lie, then no-show work method
became truly exhausting and interfered with all other aspects of our
lives. We had him stop work.
Though he had violated almost every aspect of his own contract by then,
and had not come anywhere near finishing the job, we offered to simply let him walk away
having paid him 1/2 of the contracted cost of the project.
We had to hire a lawyer to
insure that he would not file a lien on our home or sue us.
We are easy to work with, were kind and friendly and not demanding
beyond wanting Miracle to complete the work per their contract with us,
and according to industry standards and common good practice, and to
communicate clearly about when we needed to be home to provide them
access. If you value your
home and your time, find another contractor.

I can't really remember the dates he worked at our home, so the above dates are very approximate; also the cost. Very personable and helpful person. He came all the way from Olympia to Seattle to do the work, unusual for him; was eager to please, and did a responsible and good job throughout, responding to our requests in good spirit. The best thing he did was to restore and refinish our odd size and in bad condition front door, for a reasonable price, adding pieces where the door was worn and veneer was peeling, then staining the whole thing. We have had many compliments on his artistic and creative solution to a difficult problem. He helped us avoid having to replace our beautiful oak door. We would definitely hire him again!

The entire process took about a month. It was a rental that we initially planned to just repaint the interior, replace the carpet, and repair the leaking back patio roof. We chose Miracle painting and remodel based on a referral from the neighbor. When Richard Miracle came out to assess the home for painting, he saw how the badly the wood on the patio roof was soaked and molded. His team was able to replace the patio roof within the week while they began to paint the interior. We also had a home inspector come out to identify problems with the home since it was empty and being repaired.

The home inspection revealed that roof was leaking in several areas, no ventilation, and mold throughout. Richard Miracle sent Scott Newhouse out to assess the situation and they confirmed what Fred Knowles the home inspector recommended. Total Roof replacement. The team was able to complete the job in horrible weather conditions. They hauled all the old shingles and wet wood away and replaced it. The ventilation is awesome up there now!.

Richard Miracle not only had his team complete those repairs, they also removed the old unserviceable hottub from the Gazebo and reconstructed the support of the Gazebo which was falling apart. The Gazebo was completely upgraded, stained, and even has matching gutters now. They then repaired the wobbly back stairs, Installed a utility sink in the Garage, bonded and repainted the rusted front railing, and capped some faulty wiring in the garage which was also identified by the inspection.

Instead of having to find a plumber, a roofer, and painter I had all the things needed to be done, and a few things that really gave the home a facelift at the same time. A one stop shop. They take a lot of pride in their work, and it shows.

He arrived on time and was professional. Unfortunately he could not do the work we needed but did give us a referral to someone who could.
I was very impressed with how soon I was able to get Miracle Painting and Remodel to paint my kitchen. Richard came within an hour of looking on internet for a painter and by the next afternoon, my paint job was completed. Dale, I believe was his name laid out tarps to keep area clean. He started taping and painting right away. He didn't take any breaks and was done with painting about 2pm. He said Richard would be back to pick up ladder and equipment soon and he was there within about half an hour. He did some touch up that I had not seen and repainted an area above kitchen sink that I was a little concerned about. I was totally satisfied with the job when he left.
Rich and his crew did an excellent job. He finished several days early of the agreed upon completion date. He was available for us to speak with when needed. We were very happy that the work site was kept clean and the landscape wasn't damaged. The completed job looks great. We would definitely recommend this company.

I was not happy with them. They were always late and got paint everywhere. They did not finish what they were supposed to do. I would not recommend them.
Response from MiracleWood Tiny Home Construction
"To my fellow customers, i am sorry for this comment. Not every one in this world is a happy person and for this particular customer there was just no pleasing her. So i do want to apologize and let you all know that Miracle Painting & Remodeling is here to serve you, the customer. We are new to Angie's List but we have been with Service Magic and the Better Business Burro for some time now. We are ranked 6th in the state with Service Magic and First in our community with the BBB. There are ratings and comments on these websites that you can go check out for more information about how our customer feel about our work. Again it is unfortunate this customer feels this way, but this is not how our company runs. We are Miracle Painting & Remodeling and we are your servant builders serving our community since 2008."

I really like them because they were honest. I overheard his talking in a paint store that I was in, and he was talking about making sure he wasn't going to overcharge his client so I asked him for his card. He guarantees his work and will make it right. His working staff did make one slight error, but the owner, Richard, came back in and corrected the issue completely. He even put his other jobs on hold to fix this issue.
