Darrow was very knowledgeable,professional,courteous and just a delightful man! He checked everything and did not pressure me to purchase any thing. He actually commended that my system was in good condition and made a concerted effort to alleviate my fears. I definitely will call him if I have any future issues.

We have used Darrow before for our unit and the condo association and were extremely satisfied. We called him again when our heating unit stopped working. We called on a Friday afternoon and we asked if he could come out the next day or Monday and he insisted that we not wait (since we were having a cold spell) and came out the next day and worked around our schedule. He's friendly, knowledgeable and his price is always fair and reasonable (and he didn't charge extra for a weekend). He also diagnosed the problem right away and didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. He also noticed on the roof a problem with our neighbor's unit and he replaced the cover to a water spout so they wouldn't get water leaking in (and did it at no charge). We're always apprehensive any time we have to hire someone for repairs, but Darrow has proved himself to be our go-to person for heating (and air conditioning should we need that). He has a great work ethic and cares about his customers.

They were professional and responsive. They came up with a solution that allowed us to keep our existing equipment. I do not believe that other companies would have done this.

The BEST phone call I have made this year for a service needed in my home was to Mirsky Heating and AIr. I called in the middle of a So. Cal heatwave because my thermostat had stopped working and I needed to replace it. How often does an AC company, in the middle of a heatwave, tell you they can come the same day? NEVER!! Except for Mirsky..Darrow told me that he would try to make it work..and he did...which I will be forever grateful!!! He checked in with me during the day to assure me that he was coming and not to leave work until he was more clear on the time he would be at my home. He showed up with another Mirsky employee named John..they were both super friendly and so helpful. Darrow found the problem and within 45 minutes, the thermostat was replaced and everything was up and running again. I can't say enough how grateful I am to Darrow and Mirsky Heating and Air...I am giving their contact info to all of my friends and will be calling them again for anything heating AC related.

Darrow and his team did an excellent job! During a 100+ degree heat wave, our 2nd floor A/C failed. My prior A/C man had recently retired and I was scrambling.... reviewed Angie's List and made several calls. In several cases, I found myself as caller #10 in the queue. Darrow took the call personally, however, and was able to see us late that day. As a businessman I'm used to moving slowly, assessing, considering alternatives, etc. On this occasion there was no time, had to go with my gut. Mirsky Heat & Air really came through. They spent several hours (6-9pm) testing different options but ultimately found the compressor required replacement. They were able to return a day later and install the replacement. Their price was fair, Victor (his associate) was extremely knowledgeable, their work was first rate... and their response during a crisis was a life-saver! We highly recommend Darrow and his team... they're the Real Deal!!

These guys saved us during the recent heatwave. I looked for days for someone to come help us service our airconditioner, which was working....except for the cold air part. These guys were so easy to get in touch with and they put us on the schedule for the next day. They took a look and the fix was really easy. They serviced the AC, made some recommendations for future upgrades (but made sure to let us know they weren't emergencies) and left us with a house full of cold air. It was one of the easiest home services we've had in our new house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Work went very well. Owner was at the job site most days to make sure all went well and was very responsive to calls or texts. He gave us a very competitive quote and stuck to it. Only issue was that one worker called in sick one day resulting in the job taking an extra day to complete. Emilio the job supervisor was detailed and professional. System works extremely well now. Overall we are very happy with the result.

Quickly responded to a request for a quote. Returned in two days to complete the job. Finished it in one day and stayed late to do so.

Everything went as smoothly as can be imagined. Darrow was easy to work with when planning the job. He worked with my attention to details as I chose the AC and heating units that I wanted and, at my request, put every detail in writing. It was a big job - completely replacement of two systems on two floors including roof mounted AC and basement and attic furnaces. His crew were respectful, professional and always on time. The work proceeded exactly as it was described. Construction messes were cleaned up at the end of every workday. The work was finished on time. As in every big project, there was a "punch list" of details that needed to be attended to. Darrow came out immediately and took care of ALL the details big and small on the list. The new heating system worked perfectly and efficiently this winter. I'm looking forward to seeing the new AC system work this summer. I spoke to a number of companies and got a number of quotes for the work to be done. Darryl wasn't the least expensive - his quote fell in the middle range -- but he was responsive, adaptable and communicative. Very glad I chose his company for the work.

He was able to fix it. He was fairly quick and did a thorough job. Very satisfied!!

Excellent. Now the temperature in each room is within 1 degree of each other. The ducts are properly sized and provide the right amount of AC.

Extremely well. Everything was corrected and I got a flow up call to make sure everything was working the next day. That's a level of customer care that my Dr. doesn't do!

This review is long overdue. Better late than never. This AC service was beyond the best we could hope for. Fantastic job.

The fix they did, did not stick, but they told us that would be a possibility. They are definitely responsive.

The team worked eight hours straight in the heat. Cool air at last. A pleasure to have a contractor who knows what to do and does it. Showed up on time, cleaned up the work site. I highly recommend this contractor.

Darrow, the owner, came out within an hour despite being very bus.. He was professional, reasonable and punctual and replaced a capacitor. The unit now works fine. He was very fair in his pricing. I will be using him in the future. I cancelled the contract with the other company.

Great. Neither job was easy and Darrow and Vincent did great work while being excellent to hang with.
