Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade
Nikolai and Kevin with Gavin have all worked on our home in the Hemingway area of Georgetown County. We have had the panels inside/outside replaced, an outlet replaced, range and microwave rewired, a home and AC surge protector installed, re-routing of outlets to separate circuits that were constantly being overloaded, they are coming out again this coming Thursday of June 2026 and we still have more in the future as we save our funds in preparation.
All the electricians have been professional, polite and thorough. I had some detailed questions at one point since we are having so much done to our house and new garage and they have answered them without fail.
I would not have anyone else do the work.

Received First Rate service from Chris at Mister Sparky. We had just closed on a new vacation home and wanted to resolve known issues as well as assess potential problems that may come up later. Chris spent hours investigating our home, validating and testing. He then calmly walked us through his results. My wife appreciated that he didn’t just speak to me, but rather included her in the conversation. Three times the price of other electricians and everything was done wrong. This was a full rewiring of two 900 square foot apartments. Building inspector FAILED the job. First, only one of the recepticals were installed properly for a plate to fit over them (I had to hire another electrician to put extenders on all the rest, so the plugs and switches weren't sunk into the wall). Second, they put the wrong size circuit breakers on both HVAC systems, which could have caused a fire. Third, they didn't put the correct recepticals in the kitchen and bathroom to pass code. Fourth, less than half the recepticals/lights went on when the meter came on. They were wired wrong...and two of them had no wires attached at all. Fifth, they did not staple the wires down per code...another reason for the fail. Sixth, they did not put that goopy fire stuff on the wires where required by code. There were other issues too. Seems like there was something wrong with almost everything they did. When I called to tell them about all the issues, Robert/Robbie said he would get back to me but then ghosted me after that. I can't believe these guys are allowed to put live wires in people's homes, endangering them. I've had a lot of bad experiences with contractors down here...but Sparkys wins the prize. They gaslighted me when I tried to get something back for the jobs not finished or done wrong. They make you pay for each job when they start it but don't give you anything back of you have to pay someone to finish it or fix it.

"We completely disagree 1. The drywall that you are referencing was not in place when the boxes were mounted so the box extensions are only put into place once the drywall is installed. Your handyman installed those during the trim at which we were no longer your contractor 2. The HVAC units were not present when we installed the electrical panel. There wasn't a way to know the requirement so standard breakers were installed and would be corrected when the units were in place. Someone else installed your downstairs electrical panel prior to us starting the job. 3. The bathroom receptacles for the upstairs unit that we wired were correct. GFI's are the proper receptacle and they are code compliant. 4. The downstairs unit was done by your other contractor. The receptacles that were missing wires were due to someone coming in after us. Which we still fixed. We were able to tell this as we use a certain brand and type of wire nuts which were changed by them. But we made the correction anyway. 5. Yes some staples were missed as well as a place or two with fire caulking and I will own that. That is also why there is an inspection process and those were also installed and caulked at the time of the walk through. Robbie and Robert are 2 of the finest individuals you will meet. They care about our company and our reputation and bend over backwards to help out all of our clients. They are like me, when there is an issue we make it right. They have both been in contact with you and have tried to stay in contact with you. We were recently told we would only be dealt with via email, as they have left messages and we have learned along time ago to document our dealings with our clients. Lastly on our final walk through you in June everyone agreed that our work was good and that we would not be able to warranty another individuals work that you were going to proceed with at the time. We take our commitments to our clients very serious, and we always make it right when we are made aware of an issue. In this case we did just that."

We hired mister Sparky to set up our electric service to our home. Not only did they not finish the job, they lied on our BBB complaint and sent a pic of a different house! Then promised to refund part of our money and won’t respond now. There are so many posts about them over charging, price gouging and bullying so many people. You are better off with any other electrical unless company. The service they did for us didn’t even pass inspection!

We did not know what we needed; all we knew was the bathroom light was tripping the GFI and that an outside power outlet was not getting any power at all. Brad G and his partner Nick were extremely punctual (I was on a standby list); came professionally dressed and ready to diagnose and fix our issues. Very quickly they identified that the bathroom GFI was wrongly wired but was ready for replacement. They immediately identified the switch controlling the outside power outlet was burned and offered alternative solutions than simply replacing it based on how we are using the outlet. With the coupons from Angie's list; these two repairs were a lot less than we expected. Brad and Nick were extremely courteous, tidied up after themselves and explained what was going on with each issue. We highly recommend them and would definitely hire again for future electrical issues.
