From the estimate, all the way to finishing the job and clean up, I was very pleased with Mixon. They're a great company close to home and I'm proud to support them. They gave me what I think my home lacked most, a back yard. The beautiful stone retaining wall they built for me is much more than I expected. I will always go to Mixon first for any future projects!

Donnie and his crew are great to work with! He is responsive and professional. We had Mixon install irrigation and lay sod in our yard and what a difference it makes. The price was right on par with others that gave me quotes but Donnie's professionalism is what sold me on his services. The did a wonderful job and I would definitely recommend this company to other.

Great job! Love the new back yard! FJ, the crew foreman communicates well and pays attention to detail. Only issue at all is being contacted as to when they're coming, and that was just an oversight, otherwise I'd give them five stars in every category. I'm having them come back next month to aerate and top dress the rest of my yard. Highly recommend Mixon Landscaping.

Donny and team did a great job. I am thrilled. Backyard was evened out, new sod, adjusted sprinklers. AMAZING JOB. We have now signed up for lawn service and will be talking about a larger project in the front yard.

I contracted Mixon to repair a section of my sidewalk and to landscape a few beds. He had a great design and is very knowledgeable about landscape materials and plants. The installation looks very good. However, I had two issues. One, he dumped the excess concrete on my property without my permission (tried to hide it in the woods) and two he installed a white dogwood when I wanted pink. He insisted it was pink even thought the blooms were white. In the end he straightened it all out, but it took a little effort. I have referred him and i will use him again, but I'll be smarter next time.

They were okay and did an adequate job installing Zennith Zoysia sod,however, they also installed 3 leylands at a total cost of $660 that lasted only 90 days. When I asked about their guarantee I was told their supplier does not provide them a guarantee so they cannot provide a guarantee to us.They had an answer for everything we questioned....in other words, they were unwilling to address our concerns and would not replace the leylands. Based upon my experience with Mixon Landscaping I cannot provide a recommendation unless everthing they quote is in WRITING. Again in my opinion they are not honorable contractors.

Laid Zoysia and Bermuda... its been about 5 weeks and the lawn looks terrific! Mixon, did everything I asked for ... on time and with care and courtesy! I did not have sod laid on a small portion of the yard, just had the Bermuda top dressed...it looks ok but does not match at all. so now I'm thinking of having it re-sod.

We were very pleased with the finished product but not the customer service. The workers were dropped off in the morning and I spoke with the owner at tht time but he left and I never heard from him again. He never came back to check on the job or called to even find out if we were satisfied. Again, we were very pleased with the outcome of the job.

I am completely satisfied with Mixon Landscaping. Everyone was very professional competing the work as agreed. When they finished I had a great retaining wall and the surrounding area was clean and neat.They were very careful with my driveway and yard when unloading their equipment and supplies. I could not be more happy with the end result.

They worked fast. The lawn looks great and we have already referred them to others.

THEY CAME, LIKED WHAT I HEARD, HIRED THEM, THEY DID A GOOD JOB.

The work crew was polite and willing to take direction from a perfectionist. However, at the end of the day, they left root debris around the yard, and some of the yard after grading are so soft underneath that stepping on the sod produces significant indentations/holes. Also the sprinklers were returned to their proper location and functioning, but were not very well seated in the ground and as such provide imperfect sprays that will have to be adjusted. Nonetheless, Donny provided a good pricing and the work crew was friendly. The sod itself looks great.

I shopped around for a sod installer, and Mixon had the lowest price, which makes me nervous sometimes, but he had good reviews so I went with him. Well, he lived up to his reviews. His crew did a great job. I watched one of the crew prepare the yard with the Bobcat, and have not seen anyone who could do it any better. They prepared the yard, installed the sod, and asked me questions several times to make sure they were doing it the way I wanted. What was once bare dirt and weeds is now a beautiful green yard.

Wow, Mixon did an awesome job. This is by far the best lawn service I've used here in Marietta, and I've had lawn services here for over 19 years. Terrific job Mixon's...thank you!
