I would definitely hire him again! He came on time, He told me exactly how long the project would take and stuck to the schedule. He was very profession and polite, cleaned up after all work. The stairs came out beautiful and sturdy. What I found most impressive was his honesty. He quoted me a price based on the scope of the work and we both agreed upon it. Then when he found that what was needed was less extensive that he originally thought he gave me a discount. Who does that? He is a rare gem, an honest contractor. I am planning to hire him again for work on my mothers house, and I know I will not be disappointed. Miyagi Rails is top notch!!!

Leo was fantastic to work with. He communicated regularly, came when he said he was going to come, was clear about what work was necessary and did what he said he was going to do. What more could you ask? My floor installation date kept changing because the bamboo flooring itself had to arrive from China and was delayed, but he was very flexible about accommodating our schedule. There was one hiccup when Leo's car wouldn't start on the day he was supposed to come to re-install the bannister. These things happen. But he handled it very well, communicating the situation and working around my schedule that pushed the completion of the job further into the future than he had hoped. Again, these thing happen and don't negate my high rating. The workmanship is very good -- the bannister is stronger than it was before and looks great. I was afraid installing the bannister over the new floor might damage the floor itself, but Leo was very careful and all went well. One thing about his website -- it says he only works in New Jersey and I almost didn't contact him because I live in Manhattan. I'm really glad I didn't believe his website because he does indeed do jobs in Manhattan.
