Max Construction did a great job on much needed wood rot throughout two patios. All the work was done very well, on time, to code and for a reasonable price. Max is engaging and responsive, he always gets back to you. Their masons replaced old cracked concrete in the garage, where in an out of there in a day and half. Very happy with Max Construction and highly recommend them.

Max Construction came in to do a complete bathroom remodel to include installing a tub where there was none. Max was very accessible and responsive in getting a quote and answering any questions we had throughout the process. His crew showed up promptly 8 a.m. every morning and worked very diligently throughout the days. They were very conscientious in their end of day clean up. Even though we had difficulties with our order at Home Depot, they had no problem making numerous trips to pick up our orders as they came in. The tile work is beautiful and everything came out as we envisioned. Max's price was one of the higher quotes we received, but in the long run we were very pleased with outcome and the bathroom looks fantastic.

Max and his team did a wonderful job rebuilding our porch. He guided us through the process of selecting materials and design. The work team left everything tidy during the project and did not make much noise considering the work which was done. Max responded quickly to our questions throughout the process and was a real pleasure to work with. We have received many compliments on the outcome of the project. The porch looks great and really adds to the appeal of the house.

Max and his team of professionals completed the job well under budget, timely, and may I add looks gorgeous. 3 other contractors wanted nearly double the price but we are glad we with Max Construction. The job included removing a window and installing a sliding patio door, installing wainscoting in the dining and living room, and installing a brand new front door with sidelite (I did not have sidelights prior). I now have curb appeal and a gorgeous interior!!! In January, we quoted max with 2 other contractors. He did was not the cheapest nor most expensive, but had the best reviews and had the best insight. Phase 1 of the project was to renovate an original kitchen for a Colonial Split Ranch Home and replace a load bearing wall. Max was open to working with our supplied cabinets and counter top and appliances and tile. Not only was Max capable of doing the typical kitchen renovation but our architect unexpectedly recommended Max install a 1 ton load bearing beam across half the house to replace the load bearing wall and reinforce the post underneath in the 1st floor. Max and his team were able to take care of this more advanced work. We had some unexpected electrical work also, but Max and his electrician Isaac were able to take care of all our needs and work together efficiently. Phase 2 of the project was our full bathroom renovation adjoining the kitchen and update electrical, plumbing and crown molding. He was open to us picking out and providing fixtures like faucets, shower systems, and Max took care of everything else. Everything went as planned here and everyone was pleased with the results. Max was hands down the best contractor we have worked with. He and his team were efficient, professional, got the job done on time. His main strength was his great communication and willingness to make everything correct. He was willing to take calls out of business hours and even on weekends when we were in crunch time. With most renovations, unexpected things can come up, but he was willing to work and strategize with us to get a job done. An small example was when some of his painters had some issues paint matching, and the color did not turn out well. Max took care of this and corrected it at cost. I have no negatives for Max at all. I suppose the only thing I wish I could change was he wasn't as busy so he can start helping us with next project :)

Max Construction exceeded our expectations. He came into our home and advised us on what we needed to be repaired. We recently bought a home where the cabinet under the sink was completely rotted and molded as well as the wall behind it. He provided us with a clear and precise work order and the estimate was extremely fair and within our budget. We had other contractors come in that provided high estimates and wanted to use cheap material but not Max Construction. He used high end wood and installed the lazy Susan with a cabinet trash recycle bin pull out with soft close hinges. My wife was super satisfied and you all know a happy wife is a happy life. No job is to big or small with Max Construction so if you want your home remodeled or repaired without getting over charged hire Max. He knows what he is doing and will listen to your ideas and provide his expertise for you to have the home of your dreams. With all respect to all the contractors here on Angie's list I am going with Max with all of my home projects and will recommend him to my family as they are looking to remodel their homes as well. Oh forgot to mention we had a prehung door installed which we were not totally happy with and Max fixed the issue in mins without even asking for more $$$$.....what more can you ask for? Max construction was amazing! I interviewed several contractors who I didn't feel confident with or who were too busy at the time of construction. From the beginning of the consultation, Max was an absolute professional. He came in took pictures did measurement and came with great design suggestions to the table. Max was available to start work much sooner than I anticipate he could which was great. Once work started I was introduced to everyone working on my project one by one which was a great touch in professionalism. The team worked extremely fast. The exterior work was completed within a week. Professional local lumber company delivered the wood and work started the same day. When interior work started. the hope for a pocket door had to be changed because a pipe (that wasn't detectable) was in the way. Max changed the order to a single door that fit perfectly and his team even handled the adjustment to the plumbing at no additional cost! I had the floors in the bathroom done by another company earlier in the year who didn't finish their work. They didn't shave down a door so it didn't scrape the floor, they didn't reinstall the door saddle and the door when reinstalled wasn't set properly. Max's team resolved these minor issues at no additional cost. Once the Laundry room door was installed and the opening to the former bathroom was closed off, the team noticed I had new shelves I was going to install after I painted. They removed the old cabinet I planned to take down at no additional cost. I can't say enough about this team sticking to their quote. Max never changed or attempted to change his original quote at any time during the process when I am certain other contractors would have used the opportunity to squeeze out additional money. The work was flawless and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of work, timing, and most of all cost once all the work was done.

Max Construction service was outstanding! All those who worked on the job were courteous and professional. They all paid close attention to details and were always cooperative to any requests we had. The price was very reasonable for what we had done and what was involved. We were very happy with the work done to reconstruct our bathroom, that we immediately had Max's team do our kitchen floor and backsplash of which they did a great job and a great price as well.

Everything went well. It took a little longer than originally planned due to waiting for inspections. The demolition was done in one day and I was amazed how much they had accomplished. I especially liked the way they put the tiles in and it looks fantastic.

His crew is fabulous and Max is hands on, making sure everything is done perfectly and on time. Max and his team are the most professional group of carpenters I may have ever had the pleasure of working with. Having worked as a carpenter in my younger days I can attest this group has an excellent skill set, plan of work , and are efficient in all aspects of the job requirements. Highest recommendation possible. Currently planning more work to be done and will use Max .
