Michael did a great job for us. He is on site to supervise ALL of the work done. The final product you pay for is nothing but the highest quality. Michael is very detail oriented and does a detailed inspection of all work completed. There is a thorough cleanup done every day before his crew leaves. And, he did everything possible to limit the amount of dust spread in our house. What separates the OK, from the good to the very best contractor is how they handle the unexpected. That happened on our job & I couldn't have asked for a better resolution. In fact, I ended up having to insist on splitting the additional costs with him. He's the type of guy you want working on your house.

The work was done quickly but nothing was rushed and no shortcuts taken. The made sure the area was as clean as when they arrived. I will be using them again in the future for more work.

Jennifer responded immediately to schedule an estimate. Michael provided a detailed quote and answered all of my questions. After selecting M&J Home Improvement of SA, Michael coordinated with me to schedule the repairs and provided all information I needed for my prior approval from my homeowner’s association. Michael and his crew was on time, prepped the entire interior and exterior, performed the work perfectly, and cleaned the work are every day. The work included repairing studs and header beam that had rotted. To complete, they needed to remove interior drywall, insulation, a large window, and replace the studs and beams. They then removed the damaged exterior stucco and replaced. The project took about 8 work days to complete and looks better than new. We also had ceiling and drywall damage in our garage following a summer monsoon that was also repaired at the same time. M & J did such an amazing job that we will be using them for a kitchen and master bath remodel as well as to repair exterior French doors that were improperly installed by the previous owners.

It turned out beautiful. I cannot day enough about their professionalism, the work ethic, and the talent they displayed. All of it was superior. I definitely recommend them and will call on them again for other work when needed.

My 94 year old mother needed a bathroom overhaul to convert her bath tub to a shower stall equipped with handicap bars. We visited three of the larger well-advertised bathroom remodelers. One was temporarily closed, another was not helpful and the third was way over our budget. We found M&J Home Improvements of S.A. on Angie’s List. M&J had great reviews so we called Michael Moreno for a quote. Michael was knowledgeable, friendly and offered an overhaul that worked with my mom’s budget. Michael provided a complete bathroom overhaul…he re-leveled the bathroom floor, installed drywall, removed the existing tub and shower walls and installed new shower walls, installed a new vanity, painted the entire bathroom, etc. Michael and his staff were prompt, friendly and professional through and through. Michael was easy to communicate with from start to finish – he listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions and came up with solutions. He and his team did an outstanding job and worked diligently to finish our bathroom overhaul in a week. They worked every day until the job was completely finished. We are very happy with my mom’s new bathroom and highly recommend M&J Home Improvements!

Work was beautiful, doors are trimmed nicely. Minimal mess. Entertainment center cuts are perfect to the surround sound, dvd, cable boxes and fireplace.
