Dave did fantastic job. He worked independently as opposed to with a crew so it took 5 days. I was not only please with his work but with his competitive rate.

Dave did a nice job painting 7 rooms and the front door of my home. He worked independently as opposed to with a crew so it took 6 days, however, I actually preferred having only one person in my house due to COVID. Dave communicated well and I am very happy with how everything turned out. Also, M&L had the most competitive rate of the 3 companies I received quotes from.

Exterior wood on a bay window and trim around a sliding glass door needed to be replaced as it was rotten in a few places. I decided to have the wood replaced with PVC to avoid rot in the future. In addition, I needed a sliding glass door screen door to have the screen replaced. Dave Lawson from M&L came out initially to understand the work and give me the costs associated with a handyman and the painting. He called a day later to agree to a scheduled date to perform the work. Dave and the handyman arrived as scheduled and went back over the work and began. All the work was performed as expected. The only issue was the screen door replacement as one of the rollers was broken. Since he had already replaced the screen I agreed to use it and it was placed back in the door. My choice. Following the cleanup, Dave showed me the bill which came close to what I had originally expected. Overall I am completely satisfied with the work and cost.

This company was fantastic! Dave Lawson and his assistant, Genaro, were a pleasure to have in my house. They were here for 5 days, and arrived each day at 8:15 AM ready to work! They were professional, courteous, and honest. The work was done perfectly, and no request was left undone. They were very particular about keeping the house clean as they worked. Mr. Lawson gave an accurate estimate before work began, and he did very good quality work. He was carful to keep me informed throughout the job. He was responsive to my concerns. He was always prompt and he kept the job moving forward without delays. I strongly recommend this company.

Service and quality of work was great. M & L got our home spruced up and show ready so we'd make a good impression on buyers. They did a good job cleaning up afterward too. Now we are ready to sell and get top dollar thank to M & L Painting!!

Dave Larson was very professional. It rained for days during the August monsoon and I was trying to get the trim painted before the new siding went on. Dave and his crew came on the weekend to do the upper level painting and remove a metal awning. Dave was careful to let me know that any house as old as mine (1924) was likely to have lead-based paint on the exterior. He and his crew collected all scraped paint from the trim and disposed of it as a hazardous material, following the federal regulations.

We are pleased with the work. Dave from M&L stopped by to see what we wanted done, and to talk about the schedule. One slight glitch was that painting a single room did not come up to their minimum sized job of $600. Fortunately, we also weren’t fond of the color in the family room either, and having both rooms painted brought the cost up to the minimum. Dave did the work himself, and did a nice job. It took a couple of weeks before he could schedule it, but he got it all done the day before the movers arrived.

I found M&L through Angie's list and I am so glad I did. Their quote was competitive and once the job was scheduled, Dave and Grover showed up on time and worked diligently for 2 days straight. The work performed is of the Highest Quality, and my room looks like its brand new, Also their prep work and clean up after the job was excellent as well. Overall A+. I will definitely hire them again. Highly Recommend them.

The carpentry work went well. In fact, the repair job under the kitchen sink is beautiful. The other items on the list, other than recaulking, went fine. However, the recaulking work was not good at all. The handyman basically caulked over the existing material. Also, the handyman arrived, went through the list and then left for Home Depot to get materials. I was charged for the time he was gone to Home Depot. He was at my home on Saturday, while Hurricane Irma was threatening Florida and my attention was on the hurricane as I have family in Florida. I don't know how long the handyman was gone to get supplies as I did not time him; but it seemed longer than I expected. In addition, I paid for the materials purchased by the handyman, which I fully expected to do. I saw no need for me to keep materials used and so had no issue with the handyman taking the purchased materials with him. However, after he left, I discovered he left behind a container of liquid nails that clearly was not used at all and I no doubt paid for. I expect paying for materials, but not if they are not used at all. I've brought these issues to the attention of the company and to their credit, they wanted me to make an appointment to discuss corrections to the caulking work and to any billing errors. I declined a meeting and instead sent them pictures of the recaulking work. I appreciate that they would like an opportunity to correct it, but I expected it to be done correctly the first time. I've decided to hire a company that specializes in recaulking and regrouting to redo the recaulking work that the handyman did, and possibly some additional work. As to the billing, the company is aware of my concerns and I have left it to them to address. I would recommend this company if your handyman work involves carpentry type needs. The carpentry work, as I said, was good. I would hire them again, but only for carpentry type handyman work. I would also insist that the handyman arrive with the materials necessary to do the job.

I was very surprised when the customer contacted our office regarding the claim of improper caulking. The handyman who preformed the work has been caulking for many years without a single complaint. I offered to have my business partner who has 35 years experience to return back to her home of course free of charge to address and correct any complaints she may have. Unfortunately she refused.Regarding the material left behind the customer sent me a photo of a tube of liquid nail. The customer was not charged for the five dollar tube, which was accidentally left behind. It was truck stock which turned out not to be necessary for the work.
