My tenant's refrigerator was not cold. I called the company on 10/25/14 morning to get it to be repaired. I was scheduled to have the service between 9am-1pm on 10/27/14. I also was told the charged would be $85. After I said that it was stated to be $75 on Angieslist, he honored to lower it to $75. (Actually this company's Angieslist profile stated that diagnostic service is $75. I would assume that the price is generally available to all customers. This is the first indication of non-professionalism.) <br /> I was called 10/27/14 morning before they came out. After around 45 minutes to a hour, I was called again saying the it's done. The compressor of the refrigerator was bad and would cost $700 to repair. It's better to buy a new one. I asked to leave an invoice to the tenant and was replied that I had to pay right away. I offered to use Discover card (which is also stated in their company profile) but was told it's no longer honored. I had to give them a different credit card and I asked them to leave an invoice to the tenant. <br /> Later, the tenant told me that a guy went in to the apartment for 5 minutes and left no invoice for me. My tenant was wondering what kind of diagnostics that was done. Either the technician was very knowledge and knew what was wrong on a first glance or they didn't even do the job but charged for the diagnosis. I couldn't make the correct judgement about the truth unless I find somebody else to look at the refrigerator again. <br /> But as a conclusion, I found this company is very unprofessional. Their Angieslist profile is out-of-date and they don't give invoice, even after the customer requests for it. They made non-repairable diagnosis in 5 minutes. A more responsible company will not make such mistakes and would show the customer what's wrong if an appliance is non-fixable. <br />

"First Of all the customer called and stated that he had a refrigerator that was not cooling properly. Never stated that he saw our ad on angies list only when we stated that service call is 85.00 dollars did he let us know. the 75.00 service fee is a promotional fee that we run for angies list customers. you have to let us know that you are responding from angies list ad to get that discount. Now as far as the service call goes the tenant show us the refrigerator then left the room. So she doesn't know what was done. every service call is different. some calls can be diagnosed very quickly and others take longer. and in this case it did not take long. this was a basic 18 cubic ft top mount refrigerator. put digital thermo meter in freezer temperature was 40 degrees when it should be at 0 degrees. took off evaporator cover. evaporator has incomplete frost pattern when means unit has sealed system problem. This was a refrigerator that was bought used. Advised customer it's 700 dollars to repair. would not put 700 hundred dollars into a refrigerator was purchased used. customer agreed then said leave invoice for payment with tenant. advised customer we don't bill customers. service call has to be paid at time of service. then advised we would mail him a receipt for his service fee. I'm really confused on how what was done makes us unprofessional and not knowing what we are doing. Everything done on this call was professional. As far as not taking discover card how is that a crime. Sometimes service work is a thank less job. If your good at what you do and things are repaired quckly people think you are ripping them off. And on the other hand if you take too long repairing something they think you don't know what your doing. So in closing got a bad review for doing everything right go figure. Sad state of affairs."

Awsome! Billy is great. He was surprised that a washer that is only about 5 years old would have a broken belt. He was wondering what I washed in it! I told him I do not wash blankets (cat hair) and rugs in the washer. <br /> He had to order a belt. When it came in, he called, came over and installed it, tested the machine and that was that. <br /> Great service, !! <br />

<p>It went well the technician was great he let me know what the problem was (the motor was no longer working) and gave his suggestion as to what it would cost to fix it! almost as much as it would cost to buy a new dishwasher, I thanked the tech for his honesty and he left. MMAB's office called ahead to let me know the repair person was on his way. The repair man was very professional. He asked me to describe the problem with the dryer. I was pleased he listened to my description of the problem. He didn't interject or interrupt me as I tried to explain. He proceeded to run tests on the dryer. Within a very short time he let me know what the problem was and the cost to repair it. I appreciated the care he took as he completed his work. The dryer is located in tight quarters. The only drawback was that when my husband got home he said the dryer exhaust vent was not completely connected to the wall exit vent. This is the only reason for an over all rating of a "B". I hate when appliances are not working properly. MMAB made the process of repairing the drying easy, quick and I would definitely call them again.

It went very well. They sent a tech the day after I called. Called on the work day to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time. Diagnosed the problem and gave me a price. Completed the repair quickly. Cleaned up afterward. Very pleasant and helpful. Made a couple of suggestions about settings on the washer.

Great! Not only did he remember us from fixing the microwave, he asked about our son (wife was pregnant at the time of microwave repair, son was sleeping at time of fridge repair - so he remembered our family). Great guy, very modest, professional. A very good representative for a company, that has always done good work for us.

THE TECH SUCCESSFULLY AND COMPETENTLY INSTALLED THE NEW MICROWAVE, BUT WHEN TAKING OUT THE OLD MICROWAVE THE TECH PLACED THE OLD MICROWAVE ON THE CARPET LEAVING A TERRIBLE STAIN. ALSO, THE TECH FAILED TO REMOVE AND DISCARD THE OLD MICROWAVE.

"microwave very greasy from filters never being cleaned. tech should have put down appliance blanket to protect floor. microwave was supplied by his home warranty company, haul away was not something they covered. customer was offered that tech would haul away microwave for dumping fee. customer declined.someone has to pay the dumping ."
