The work was done ok except for the outlet color not matching the plate, however the pricing hassle is the main reason I will never hire this company again. We discussed the pricing before agreeing to the job, I specifically asked if tax, labor, materials, etc. were included in the quote because it was higher than I expected to pay. I agreed to $400 rate, all included, and after the job was done they tried to charge me $475! I then had multiple conversations explaining that I would not have agreed to have the work done if that was the price and that I asked if taxes and materials were included before hand. Having honest discourse prior to a job is really important to me, I will never use this company again!

Hard to get them to come out. When I did schedule, it rained, so they didn't show up (and I got no call). When I did make another appointment, technician was 1.5 hrs late, so I had to again reschedule. When he did come out and do inspection, my GFI Outlets were supposed to be reset and working. They aren't, even when I specifically asked about them. He did identify some issues, which I am happy about.

That is correct, you did not get a cancellation call, the office administrator was unexpectedly out for a medical reason for 3 days and it through things off a bit, but you definitely should have gotten a courtesy call. Our apologies! Regarding the GFI, we were doing an inspection, not a service call to do repairs."

The company I work for recently purchased a restaurant/bar that needed a complete reno. M&M electric was hired to take care of all the electrical work. The company I work for does this quite often so I have seen my fair share of electricians, this company was honestly the best. The price was great, the work was done right the first time, they were very professional (hard to find these days) and always on time. I will defiantly be using them for all of our jobs in NJ. Oh yeah I even had them do some work at my new house, good to know they can handle big and small!

The initial contact involved the development of a scope of work. The contractor took care to listen to what I believed that I wanted, explained options and provided a detained cost estimate and project schedule. Once the agreement was signed the contractor arrived at the scheduled time with what I consider to have been a sufficient number of workers who completed the work in a timely fashion and at the agreed upon price. All this pretty straight forward and what one can expect from a licensed professional electrician. The difference here for me was the level of professionalism exhibited by the workers, they coordinated their efforts to minimize the disruption of my day, took time to explain what they were doing, and why, and left my home as if they were never here, except or course for the new electrical features which work flawlessly. All in all first rate all around and I will certainly be calling MM Electric for my next project.
