They were supposed to put up tarps and take other precautions and not leave a mess. It's been a year and a half since they came and my house is already peeling. They did a crappy job. I had to have them back like three or four times and they still didn't do a satisfactory job. They told me two coats of paint would last me several years. I paid a lot of money because they told me they were going to put two coats on there and they told me they were going to do a thorough clean up. They did some of the things they said they were going to do, but they didn't do some other things. They did not do a thorough clean up. They didn't use any primer and in some spots, they either didn't paint at all or used just a little paint. I'm really happy with them. I don't them I was unhappy when I signed off on the job, but they don't really care. They didn't do adequate clean-up on lead based paint. I don't think they used two coats of paints. They also didn't do caulking that should have been done. They left paint all over my flower beds.

M&M Roofing did a great job replacing the siding on our house. <br /> The job involved replacing all siding on our house. This also included the <br /> chimney. We got more than one bid for the job and found that their bid gave us <br /> more for our money. Bids ranged from $14K to $12K. Using the Angie?s List offer <br /> saved us around a thousand dollars. <br /> Aaron and his crew foreman were very courteous and <br /> professional. They took their time and spoke to me about the different aspects <br /> of the job and took their time to explain to me how they would handle different <br /> parts of the work on my home and asked me for my preferences. They always had <br /> time to talk and I never felt like they were in too much of a hurry to <br /> entertain my questions. They did all the work as we discussed including <br /> replacing a window in the attic with a vent I had purchased on line. <br /> Aaron took the time with me to do a final walk around the <br /> house to inspect the job and finish any last touch-ups. A week after payment I <br /> discovered a vent hose connected to an exterior vent that they replaced was not <br /> connected and laying on the attic floor. I notified Aaron and he saw to it that <br /> it was corrected. We had to wait a few days and in the end it was fixed. <br /> I would definitely use M&M again. <br />

On June 26, 2014, I signed a contract with M & M Roofing & Siding on June 26, 2014, and FAXed it to them.  At that time the representative of M & M told me that work would definitely start in four weeks time, and possibly in as little as two weeks time.  Five weeks later on July 26th, I received a call from their representative telling me that they had not received the first FAX that I sent them, and that they needed me to resend the FAX so they could start the following week.  I resent the FAX and they confirmed that it was received.  At that time the representative told me they would call back next week and set the time for delivery and the work would begin soon.  I never heard from the representative again until August 19th, when he called to say that they were ready to deliver the materials.  We set a date for delivery of August 21st, when materials were finally delivered. <br /> Work finally began on removing and replacing the siding on August 25th.  By August 27th the subcontractor ran out of materials.  M & M did not order enough materials to complete the work.  The representative of M & M ordered additional materials which showed up on August 29th.  At that time the representative told me that the subcontractor would be back at work the next day, August 30th, but the subcontractor never showed up.  Up to this point the actual work that had been done was satisfactory. <br /> Another subcontractor showed up again on September 2nd and began work.  I was informed that the subcontractor had changed because the lead man for the subcontractor had gone on vacation and was out of the country, but that the new group was part of the same subcontractor's crew.  They "completed" the work, but the work they did was inferior to the that of the first subcontractor.  The representative agreed to send them back out to the job site to make repairs.  They made repairs and cleaned up as best they could.  <br /> On September 8th I called the representative and left him a message that the new outdoor light they had installed on the exterior of the house was not working.  The light was replaced because the subcontractor had destroyed the original working light when they removed the existing siding.  He returned my call the following day, and agreed to repair or replace the light.  The light has not been repaired or replaced since that time and I have not heard anything from the representative.  I have since found additional damage: a water hose with a hole in it from a nail gun, damaged paint, and broken branches on shrubs.  On September 23rd, one of the owners, Doug Moncure, called and left a voice message asking if I was pleased with the job.  When I returned from an out of town trip, I returned his call on September 30th , leaving a message that I had called with a secretary.  Needless to say, he has never returned my call. <br /> As a result of this ordeal, I would not recommend this company.  This was clearly a small and unimportant job to them, but it was important to me.  The parent firm uses subcontractors and does no actual work on site, and seems to have little incentive to do the job right or in a timely manner.  I finally replaced the faulty light they installed myself, another cost to the customer.  <br /> <br /> ******************************************************************************************************************************************** <br /> In response to this review, I was contacted by Doug Moncure, one of the owners of M & M Roofing and Siding.  He was unable to return my original callback because he was out of town.  Mr. Moncure apologized for the way the job went and was willing to do whatever was necessary to resolve the issues I raised in the review.  I accepted his offer to pay for the damaged water hose and the light I bought and installed to replace one ruined in the original installation.   Many contractors will not apologize or take responsibility when things do not go well, and I believe that he is sincere in his desire to meet the customer's needs.  Should a member of Angie's List have need of his services, I would urge you to consider M & M Roofing and Siding in light of these facts.

My sales rep was Aaron Talbot.  He was extremely nice and professional.  I contracted M&M to do my siding, windows and gutters.  They did a phenomenal job and completed the work exactly on the date they said it would be done.  What I also liked about them is that I was not expected to pay until the job was complete.  My house is the best on the block and it looks brand new.  I would recommend M&M to anyone  I was really impressed when the owner of M&M reached out to me to ensure I was completely satisfied. <br />

We went through an extended process of reviewing vendors before making the decision to go with M&M Roofing Siding and Windows. <br /> Work on the project was originally scheduled to begin on June 2 but was delayed for one day by weather. It took two days to complete the work, which to my eyes looks to have been performed quite well.  <br /> There were a few minor issues observed at the conclusion of the work (among them, spots where paint was unevenly applied and a couple of solar screens which had been bent during the removal and reapplication of the trim). These problems were immediately addressed to our satisfaction. <br /> The minor ding in the review for responsiveness had to do with how long it took me to hear back from our sales representative on a couple of occasions, but these were minor issues and have no bearing on my assessment of the experience in working with M&M. <br />

Communication from them was sometimes poor and one time only clean up was non existent. Work was great and they took care of all concerns

They were fantastic and did a great job. They were also willing to paint the boards for me, so I didn't have to get another company to paint it. They gave me plenty of time to pick up the paint color I wanted and then they went out and picked up the paint. They were super nice. I had problems with the vinyl panels of my carport because it was leaking. He came out and said I can seal that up at the same time.

This is a wonderful company to deal with. We had a large job with a couple of changes thrown in. They performed exactly like they said they would. I will def be using them whenever I have anything else to be handled. <br />

Everything went great.  They did a great job and provided good recommendations on supplies and colors to choose. <br />

I had a leak in my roof that caused enough water damage to the ceiling of my overhang that a significant piece had fallen off. After interviewing a few roofers that all tried to sell me on a new roof, I hired M&M Roofers. Their rep Nathan (he is exceptional) showed me the weakness in my house that was the cause of my leaks. One was due to a faulty gutter pipe running through my attic and the other was due to some very minimal separation of my flat bitumen roof to the edge of the house. He told me that although it would look great and I would enjoy more years out of a new roof, he showed why my roof was still not in need of being replaced and that my roof was still good and doing its job. He prides himself on his honesty which is why I am writing this recommendation. He fixed my two issues and the cost was less than $1000 for sheet rock repair, painting, reconfigure pipe system for gutter in the attic and laying roofing cement. This company has their act together and hurray for Nathan!!

I was really, really happy with them, so happy that I am actually having them do more work. They are going to do gutters for me. I had gotten an estimate previously and the guy came in and was really unsure and told me that it would probably leak again but that they had a warranty. So when he left I was a little discouraged. Then, M & M came and the guy said that they can fix anything. He walked me through and showed me exactly what they were going to do and he just had a lot of confidence in the job, so that made me feel really good. I would say that they did a great job for me. I am very happy with it and I am hiring him again, and if I need anything like this in the future I would definitely go to them first.

We had hail damage to our roof & gutters. <br /> M&M did an excellent job on re-decking our roof installing new shingles, replacing gutters and installing a new skylight.   They also did work on my siding due to hail damage.  I did my research on roofers and products in the area and cannot be more pleased with the outcome of their work.   <br /> Through the whole process we never felt pressured or sold by their representative; only that we were speaking with a well informed gentleman about his products and services.  <br /> All of the other roofers would not give us a bid without seeing our insurance paper work first.  M&M were more than please to provide us with a quote and never asked about our insurance. <br /> M&M crew is very professional & courteous during the whole installation process. It is refreshing to hire a contractor that goes beyond my expectations during a job.  <br /> I highly recommend M&M Roofing, Siding & Windows. Our next project is to replace windows and we know that we will call M&M for the job.

Was referred to this company by my brother-in-law, who apparently knows the President of the company out of Houston.  Sort of like Angie's List, I like this sort of referral versus anything else.  The Area Manager came out and gave the free estimate, which seemed fair, emailed approval back, delivered the roofing material on Monday and on Tuesday, a small army of men descended bright and early and 12-hours later, I had a new roof!   <br /> <br /> Everyone was very professional, from the Area Manager to the men who hustled in this extraordinary heat.   I think they may be new to Dallas, but the company has been in business since 1983 and certainly know what they are doing. <br /> <br />  Everything went as well as could be expected and I have no qualms whatsoever recommending their service to anyone that needs a new roof.
