Great. Everything was explained and he showed me where the supports in basement are rotting from the varmints. They were all very nice and respectful. Didn't take long but house is small. Never did get my promised free can of Bedlam Plus though :).

They answered the phone when I called, listened carefully, gave me a rough estimate, then contacted the technician. Within a few hours, they sent David Leonard over and he resolved our problem within 15min!

This company is very responsive and professional.   It's been six months and I have had no issues of mice or any other bugs.  I signed up for the annual service and they call every three months to schedule an appointment without me having to chase them down to do it.   I am very happy with their customer service, service provided, the professionalism of their technicians, and value for money paid. <br />

Modern did a thorough repair job including significant structural repairs on 2 levels of the home.   They documented their work extensively in photos (at my request) for any future  homeowner.  Modern was careful to tape off non-work areas of the home (for dust control) and they protected my newly redone hardwood floors with full tarp covers.   They cleaned up when job was complete and even repainted repaired areas.  They were proactive and treated for termites in one area, in case they returned!  I consider myself to be a discriminating consumer, Modern's work was superb. <br />

provided initial extermination of pests (roaches and rodents).  I love the response time from the time i submitted the question from Angie's site to Modern, the rep, Dave contacted me the next day to talk about what i needed and indicated he could have some come out right away--which is what i wanted. <br /> there was a little snag in the technician's arrival time, but when I called the office to confirm that the technician would still be arriving, the gentleman answering the phone indicated there was a mix up and the technician was on his way. <br /> My majority age daughter was home when the technician visited and she indicated he was thorough. <br /> I must admit trying to get follow up info on scheduling monthly service and whether or not they'll give me a credit for the next service has had a wrinkle, with no follow up (sent email asking for credit on next service since the provider offered a coupon at time of service, and while I mentioned it in our coordinating discussions, my daughter--who can't remember anything if it's not relative to her world) :) forgot to give the tech the coupon.  <br /> I also called this morning (10/14) asking for a schedule and price and was told tech would return call but didn't receive by end of business (10/14) <br /> I realize that when you're on the go and trying to manage communications things slip through the cracks; I believe this is a family owned business and i highly support family owned small businesses over the big guy/gal businesses, so I'll be patient for a couple more days. <br />

The inspection was done through my home inspector on same date as inspection.  So I was able to get two things accomplished at the same time which is really important during the inspection phase of purchasing a house.  About three months after I moved into my new home, I called on this company again as I thought I  possibly had flying squirrels in my attic.  An appointment was made and kept with effectiveness and efficiency and there was no cost for evaluation.  No squirrels were found.

<p>Modern completely eradicated an ant infestation in March 2015.  In July, Modern came to do maintenance spraying to prevent ants.  All interactions with Modern have been professional and polite.  Modern personnel answered all questions thoroughly.  They are very knowledgeable about insects and how to deal with them safely with kids and pets.  Rescheduling was needed and Modern was very flexible in accommodating my schedule.</p> <br />

Whenever you need them, they come out and spray as many times as you can need them and its all included in the price that you are paying. I believe the previous owners of our house, used them so we just went with them presuming that they're doing a good job. They're doing a good job because were having a huge spider problem and it was definitely reduced due to the spray so they are doing a good job. Very effective. They're very pro active actually, they do call and say "Hey you're appointment is coming up". About the time and schedule, they're very pro-active about that.

They were so honest they identified the bug over the phone told me not to worry and that they didn't need to come out and to call back if I had any concerns. The guy talked to me over 15 minutes on the phone and I felt he went above and beyond call of duty to help explain what type of bug it was.
