*********** ******* STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY *********** If you have a home warranty stay clear of this company. They will charge the warranty company, but still charge you several hundreds of dollars under the guise of bringing up to code. They did nothing to bring my unit up to code. They added an expansion tank, nothing more. They sent the warranty company an over inflated quote. Rip off

"This homeowner placed this same exact complaint on the better business bureau to which I also responded there. The homeowner's complaint is that she is upset that her policy through her home warranty did not cover items that were required by code or the removal and disposal of her old unit and she was responsible for those costs. I responded to that review and the same offer stands with this review; I will gladly send the owner of the company over to her home and show her each item that was installed that she was charged for. I have a before and after picture of her install where you can see all of the code items, as well as a detailed sign invoice with the breakdown of pricing and each item installed. She even signed that she was satisfied with the services! I personally called Ms. [Member Name Removed] yesterday to talk to her and extend the offer to have the owner come out. Our lines in the office are recorded and I have a 4 minute long conversation where all she did was scream and curse at me the entire time, I was barely able to get 3 sentences out. I was in complete shock that someone would talk to another person in that manner especially when the person was trying to help her out. She said she was happy with the work that was done and that our plumbers did a great job but that she was upset about the charges that were not covered by her warranty. In reality this homeowner's complaint is with the policy she bought as my plumbers provided excellent service with an install that is to current plumbing regulations. The representative from Modern Plumbing took pictures, explained possible sources and how to figure out the source from use. Once the source was found, described the repair and had it done in 20 minutes with a minimum of fuss. Very impressed with the detailed explanation throughout this issue. FYI, this was done via my Home Warranty, so the cost is not indicative of the actual charges.

The company had too many different people who didn't communicate with each other. I dont think they are trained plumbers. Except one guy, others did not have any idea about the heater. There was not a single guy who could spot the problem. They recommended unnecessary maintenance and were quick to gather their checks. They never stepped up to help with the solution. I had an ordeal time without hot water for 2 months. I would strongly recommend against hiring these guys in greensboro, highpoint area for the service. When I called their company and stated this whole issue, the lady who picked the phone thought it was not their fault and even threatened me when I talked about reimbursement. I have never had any bad experience in my life working with companies like this before. Please don't make a mistake to go through these guys.

American Home Shield sent them to my house for faucet issue. The came first time on 04/29/16 it is 06/24/16 they still haven't solve the problem. Tech made 4 visits I still don't know the status of repair. Also they did not communicate with warranty with correct info.

they did not complete work. The fellows worked hard but after 4 hours I was told they could not fix it, and their Supervisor  told them to tell me to find someone with "jet" service.  I was dumbfounded as I would not have a clue as to who to call.  I was then told my "service" today was over $300.  I cannot imagine I will ever use them again and have thrown away their card. <br />

The appointment was set up right away and the tech came out and spent all the time needed to resolve our issues.  He showed us what was going on each step of the way and told us how much it would cost before continuing so we could make a decision on whether we wanted to proceed.  It was a very long, tedious, smelly process to dig out all the crud in our pipe.  He cleaned it all up and left our house as well as the crawlspace pretty much as tidy as it was when he arrived.  Best of all, everything in the house was working again. <br />

The worst part wasn't even the dishonest technician. I am sure the reason he told me the holes in the ceiling would be repaired is because he knew I would not pay him the $100 deductible if he told me the company would not fix it. But the WORST part is the was I was treated by the owner's wife, Jamie. While the manager, Andrew, was at least attempting to be professional and work towards a resolution, Jamie then got on the telephone, called me a liar, told me that it was my fault for not understanding the terms of my warranty, and even went so far as to laugh at me while I attempted to voice my concerns and my position. Even if I were completely at fault here, NO CUSTOMER should ever be treated that way. This woman actually accused me of making excuses when I told her that now in March, I had not financially recovered from the Christmas holidays in order to repair such damage myself. She told me I was unreasonable in choosing to keep the shower unusable (as we have been using the other shower until this one could be repaired) and preferring NOT to have holes in my ceiling which I cannot afford to repair. So, not only did this place do NOTHING to help me once Jamie got involved, but she also personally attacked me. How can a place like this remain in business this day in age? <br />

We have a one-year home warranty (we purchased our house within the past year) and when we had plumbing issues one Sunday afternoon (water started flowing out of the toilet and onto the floor) our warranty company contracted with Triangle Plumbing and Backflow to come address the issue. Even though it was one a Sunday, Eric showed up within a few hours and immediately go to work resolving the issue. Unlike some of the negative reviews below (once I knew what company was coming I researched them and started to get worried) Eric was very clear about the issues and potential costs. He let us know that if he could fix it outside the house, it would be covered by our warranty but that if he had to remove a toilet to access the blockage, the warranty would not cover it and he broke down the costs for us. Despite my wife nor I knowing where the access point was closest to the house, Eric got out a shovel and estimated where it would be and started digging under some shrubbery to find the access point. As it was already past 8:00 on a Sunday night and the temperature was just over freezing, he could have said he'd come back another day or immediately moved to the more expensive approach from reaching the plumbing inside the house. Eric clearly knew what he was doing because he found the access point within minutes (it had been buried about 8" by the previous owner) and promptly resolved the issue, explaining how it happened and helping us avoid it in the future. We found Eric to be prompt, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile/step to help us. While we had never used this company before (or known them) we will be using them in the future. <br /> Unrelated to this, while talking to Eric we learned of a flat-fee plumbing inspection they complete to help with preventive issues in your home (I think Angie's List has a coupon for it). I wish we had known about that prior to purchasing our home as we could have utilized them during the home inspection and saved us several hundred dollars in plumbing repairs that the inspector did not catch. Based upon Eric's professionalism and experience, for anyone purchasing a home, I would recommend they use this service as part of their inspection process - I know I wish we had (it would not have caught the issue we had but it would have caught several others that we had once we started living in the home). <br />
