Modern Windows and Doors

This review shares my experience with Modern Windows and Doors, which I suggest potential customers read fully. I paid a $10k deposit for a basement entrance project costing around $22k. Josh Webster promised a "turnkey" project but failed to deliver and attempted to move forward with no permit. After weeks of no updates, I learned that engineering was incomplete. Communication was poor, and I often had to ask for updates. I later found out they weren't licensed for the work in Longmont, leading to delays. Josh hired a concrete guy who was building the walls and stairs outside of the spec the engineer designed. When I hired my own concrete contractor, he discovered mistakes in the work done. Ultimately, I requested my deposit back after losing confidence in Josh. He returned part of the deposit and made me sign a non-disparagement agreement that violates the consumer review fairness act. I recommend finding another contractor. I lost tons of time and money working with this company.

Josh and his team were recommended to me by a colleague of mine. We were not disappointed. They came in well under other estimates that we had received. Took awhile to get the door that was special ordered but when it arrived they came out and installed in one day. I have recommended them to others with no hesitation.
