I had a heat pump installed so I could have AC in the summer as well as heat. Customer service was great from the office person to the installer. I thought the contract had enough detail to satisfy me but I did not find out until signing and paying deposit that electrical was not included. It would have been nice to know that up front. The installer was great and a bit of a perfectionist which was just fine with me. It led him to discovering that half my heating elements in existing furnace had been disconnected by previous owner and the reason was because that same owner had installed a transformer that didn't have enough volts to power all the elements. This was not easy to diagnose and I am grateful he persisted until he found it.

One of our 12-year-old heat pumps stopped working a week ago. Then the other went out 3 days later, leaving us with no air conditioning in 90 degree weather. I called Montgomery Heating and A/C on Wednesday, and was told they couldn't get here until Monday. But I understand, given that this is their busiest season. <br /> As promised, John and his son arrived Monday afternoon, after phoning to say they were on the way. They diagnosed the problem, replaced the capacitors, and the systems began working immediately. Very fast, very professional. And a big relief to know that we only needed affordable parts, not two brand new systems. Thanks, Montgomery Heating. I highly recommend. <br /> <br />

They installed our heat pump a little over a yr ago. <br />We called when i was having some problems getting the house cool enough. <br />They were on time & explained everything as they went & made sure we knew what they fixed, how to use everything & how to problem solve a few issues in the future. They were kind, professional and efficient. I will always call them for our future heating & cooling needs. <br />Our baby is due in one month so even 68 is burning up to me, he lowered the temp for me & I'm feeling fantastic now!!! <br />

They did a great job. That solved our problem for now but we are going to have to replace the whole system and we have talked to him about that. We were happy with the service. They were very friendly. They came out in a timely manner and explained everything. They were very thorough and it was everything that we expected. There was nothing that we were not happy with. We were looking at $4-5,000 for a new system and we were not able to do that right away so he was able to get the system working. They haven’t called us back regarding the new system but they were on time when they came. We would use them again.

Made an inspection and provided estimate of cost to repair or replace the furnace. I elected to repair the furnace because the savings realized from a more efficient furnace would not be that significant in our situation. <br /> Repair was accomplished in about an hour, very professional, efficient and as estimated.

Two servicemen came right on time and were astonishingly fast and very professional. They quickly found out what was wrong and told me what the costs would be and what my alternatives were. They had the parts they needed right there with them on the truck. They also took the time to educate me on how my heat pump works and told me when I should have routine follow-up servicing. In the past 15 years of having my heating system serviced, no other company has been so polite, professional and honest. This is a small, local company that obviously cares about its customers and wants to maintain its reputation.

I stopped by their office on my way to work and showed them my pictures of the damaged ductwork. John & Cindy were both there. They assured me that they could do my repair. They told me they were booked with other jobs through the remainder of the week but could schedule me for a week from that day. They told me that they would do the job for time and materials, but that jobs like this usually cost about $350. They showed up for the appointment exactly when they said they would. They were polite to my wife. They did the work and were finished in a hour or two. They presented their bill for $350 and we paid them. Later I went back under the house to inspect the work. It was neat and solid. They cleaned up after themselves, resisting the temptation to litter the crawlspace because it's not visible. They passed my test: they did the job like I would if I had the tools, experience, and materials.
