Most Lustre Bathtub Refinishing Tampa

I need to share my feedback regarding the service I have received from Most Lustre Tub and Tile Repair and Refinishing business. The owner of this business is Daniel Jimenez. Please don’t trust anything this man says. He will try to befriend you and waste his breath trying to convince you that he is the best in his profession. Please do yourself a favor and research other sites besides Angie’s List. This all started on Angie’s List. I found Daniel’s business and sent him a message that I was interested in his services. He contacted me almost immediately after my inquiry and set up an appointment with me. However, he tried to reschedule 3 times to come to my house and start the job. That was my first sign that I should not have hired him. On Angie’s List, he had five stars, where on Yelp he only had 2.5 stars. After reviewing the complaints from other customers, seems like history is repeating itself because I had the same issues as the other people. Sloppy prep work and sloppy finish. Once we were able to decide on a day that worked for him, he came to my house with someone that he was training. I specifically asked Daniel to come over the weekend due to the WFH situation I have going on. He came on Saturday and took it upon himself to try to sit and talk to me while his helper was working. He almost did the same thing on Monday, which resulted in the job not getting completed during the weekend like I asked (since he said this job was able to be completed in two days). Nothing had been prepped correctly. All of the dust and particles were still on the tiles and the tub, yet each surface had already been sprayed. The grout was never filled in, and nothing had been fixed before spraying. The paint was dripping on the walls and the tub. After I was called upstairs to look at the finished job, I started to cry because I could not believe how stupid I was to hire this man. I would have done this job much better myself than what I have saw. Even though he made it a point to make fun of me and the way I applied caulk, my job was much better than what this “professional” did to my bathrooms. Each time he came over, I never saw him to pay any attention to detail. The job was always rushed. Also, he told me that he only works from 10 till 2 PM. He did just that. All those times that he came to my house he never stayed past 1:30 or 2 o’clock. Since the job wasn’t done in one day, he had to come back another day, and then another day after that. The second time he came in, HE was upset with ME that I was complaining about the job that HE did. felt the need to REQUEST five star reviews from myself and my daughter for coming back to FIX the terrible job he had done. Once I showed him what I was complaining about, he agreed that his work needed to be redone. The third time he came in, he tried to sand down the dust particles and paint drips from the tiles and the tub in my bathrooms. Needless to say, he did not “fix” his mistakes. This time around, I am left with black spots all over the tiles in the tub. I do not know why the black spots are on tiles in the tub. My only suspicion is that each surface was sanded too deep. The places where the grout was supposed to be filled in were never filled in. The places where the paint was scratched or missing were left just like that. He did not even attempt to fix his work, he just sprayed over it, hoping that I wouldn’t notice. Daniel offered to “fix” both the shower and tub again (for the fourth time), which I didn’t want. The only thing I want is my money back, so I can have someone else come and redo my bathrooms. Mr. Jimenez refused to give me any of my money back. While leaving my home, he told me to “do what you have to do!” Per his request, I am doing what I have to do- Warn others! Along with my shower and bathtub, Daniel has ruined my new tub faucet and my shower faucet. I also would like to add that each time Daniel came in to redo my bathrooms, he told me that he is only doing this for me, so I can give him a five star review. I can only imagine how many reviews on Angie’s list are five star reviews only because he had to come several times to redo those jobs or probably was returning money back. Throughout the whole time, he was always telling me how professional he is, how good he is at his job, and how he is being called to so many jobs as a consultant. Please stay away from this man and his business. Everything about him is a lie. I wish I knew that before I paid him $1150.00. I would like to get my money back Daniel.

It went perfectly! He was pleasant and a very good guy. My place is an old condominium. They saved me atleast $8000 I couldnt be happier it looked all brand new and clean. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. Nobody could've done a better job.

He was able to repair the sink and make it look great. Daniel is very helpful, professional and I enjoy working with him.
