Mothers House Keeping

I asked for multiple cleanings not one on homeadvisor site.I received texts from Amanda and again told I wanted multiple cleaning not just one. We agreed on $15 per hour. Again I told her I wanted multiple cleaning not just one, she was pushing a one time cleaning. Again we agreed to $15 per hour. She was very concerned about the rating and told me she needed a great rating on home advisor. I said let s see the finished product and you can show me how to do it and I will. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath, living room and small kitchen the house is 750 square feet. She vacuumed the living room and did a nice job, it needed it. I have a love seat and a lazyboy chair, (I sat in the chair the entire time as I have a bad back) a coffee table, a 3 drawer desk, 2-3 shelf book cases and a tv stand. She cleaned the top of the coffee table and dresser. She told me she didn t have the cleaning supplies to wipe the dust off the love seat, she wiped the top only of the tv stand, did not touch the 2 bookshelves. She vacuumed the 2nd bedroom used as an office, nice job. I have a L shape desk, 2-3 drawer filing cabinets and a vanity with mirror, none of these were touched. 2nd bathroom is attached to the den/bedroom the floor was dirty and needed attention, the floor space is roughly 3x3 square feet. Did a nice job on the floor. Did not touch the shower/tub. Ran the toilet bowl brush around the toilet. Did not wipe the vanity, mirror or top of toilet tank. She did not take the trash in the waste basket out, left it in the bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed that I stripped and left clean linens on the bed, she made the bed. I have a night stand and a 4 drawer dresser, nothing was touched on either. The master bath has a 6 ft vanity/ with one sink and a mirror. Nothing was touched, I have an 8 ft runner with exposed floor on either side, runner was not vacuumed and the sides of floor were not swept. She ran the toilet brush around the bowl. Did not take out the trash basket. The carpet was not vacuumed as the vacuum never entered the room.The kitchen floor was swept. She wiped the L shape counter top only, and wiped the 4 burner stove top. There is a double stainless steel sink. I use the left side as a trash can with a plastic bag in the sink ( the kind of bag you get at the grocery) the right sink was rinsed out. The trash bag was not touched and the sink under the bag was not cleaned. She sprayed an air freshener around the living room. Now exactly 2 hours had passed to the minute. We had agreed she would take my check. She tells me there is a onetime service fee of $35.00. This was never discussed during our texting or when we agreed on her price before she started here in my home. I thought it was a fee charged by homeadvisor. so I wrote her a check for $65.00. Settling up.I wanted her back in 2weeks, she wanted to come back in 1 week. Told her we could text and set the date. I did text and didn t hear back from her. I was duped and the bait and switch was used. I do not appreciate being scammed and lied to. The cleaning was sub par at best. I want $45.00 back as this is the $35.00 she scammed me for, and 1 hour of cleaning at $15.00 After all she did at least show up and vacuumed the floor. I filed a complaint with homeadvisor and then the phone calls started from Amanda. I texted back telling her I have no interest in dealing with her anymore, do not contact me as I don t appreciate her adding extra charges at the end which were never discussed. And being scammed.I will not recommend her for any cleaning service.

Very polite showed up time and they were very thorough.
