It was terrible from start to finish (finish being he departed the work site just after 4 May 2021) . Between 28 Sept 2020 and May 4, 2021, I had to practically beg this contractor, Richard Anthony Tracey, to come and actually do work on my pool. He had initially on 28 Sept 2020, verbally stated he would have the pool finished by Thanksgiving, 2020. Obviously never happened. He robbed peter to pay paul. Had a very skeleton crew that for whatever reason he sent daily to other pool or pools he was working on and not mine. A overwhelmingly number of beautiful sunshiny days between October 2020 and April 30, 2021 and my pool was mostly NOT worked on. Then on May 3-4, 2021, due to a lot of rain, my unfinished empty pool popped (came up out of the ground about 4-5 feet) and eventually subsided back down over the next several months. He would not take care of this damage. Found out he does NOT have liability insurance. He is a fraud, pyramid pool scammer/schemer, negligent in construction, theft of services and product. I can go on and on. I am pursuing civilly and criminally.

"First of all, this review is not honest. The company worked on a pool for Elaine [Member Name Removed], whom stated it was her pool not Robert's , and there was a good repore with Elaine. The pool progressed well considering the winter weather and the issues under covid ., which caused constant delays. In March the firm was ready to install the deck, and had begun forming up for pouring concrete. The customer stopped work for they had changes to the deck they wanted to make, these changes had not been thouroughly decided on as of May 5th, 2021. The company had performed grading work, underground electrical work( inspected & passed), and prep work for the deck which was to overlay an existing deck. On May the 5th there was a severe rain event, more than five inches of rain fell in a 2 day period on the property. The saturation of the soil was so severe that it caused the deep end of the pool to lift. No remedy that we offered to help with was acceptable to the client, who had constant interference from Robert. He was insulting, threatening, and troubling constantly, to the point that our attorney put him on notice of being an internet terrorist. We wanted to follow the advise of an engineer and fix the issue at cost for the client, we estimated this would be in the $5,000 to $7,000 area, and we consulted with the client to go to thier insurance company. Since then we performed $1600 worth of paving work to assist the client and returned $3800 , which had been paid for a heater, which now because of the flood damage would not be delivered in the current timeframe. Because of the insulting and threatening attacks by Robert [Member Name Removed], we have been unable to work with the client, for she is out of the country, and we would have to deal with him. She is to return in a couple of weeks, and we hope to clear this up."

Mr. Tracey was hired to design and install swimming pool, everything started off perfectly, then things changed about a month in. The excuses started as to why no one was working on perfectly sunny days, things were on backorder, our yard had an underground spring, etc. We ended up firing Mr. Tracey, getting a lot of his work redone and finally completed by a real pool company. Do your research before hiring this company.
